Beautiful hotel. It is very well located right at the beach front, however, this is a bit of a busy area so if you don't mind the rowdiness/noise it should be no problem. Everything was in pretty good condition. The rooms were nice and spacious. The view is from the room is simply breathtaking. You could spend the entire time sitting on the balcony just watching and listening to the ocean. The staff were very friendly and willing to assist. Unfortunately the WiFi did not work. And though we booked two rooms for our family expecting to have two rooms next to each other but we were placed not only on different floors but completely different wings which made getting to each other very difficult. I did get a bit lost. We had made the booking in January for April so this didn't make sense to me.

We were here because of a conference taking place at ICC - super convenient to walk over in a bit. The room was big - but even though it should have ocean 🌊 view you needed to stretch a bit to see it, which was all right. The staff is very friendly especially at the restaurant and always have a smile on their face. A supermarket is around the corner (900m) and the beach as well.

We booked one room for 3 people in the 3-star hotel. Upon arrival they made clear that they have no room where 3 people can fit. So we were moved to this hotel and paid the difference for the room. The room was spacious and pretty. However there was no hairdryer which is a must have in this hotel category in my opinion. Then unfortunately we experienced load shedding during the morning which led to us not having any light in the room. This was especially bad in the bathroom since there is no window and thus no light at all. I know this is not the hotels fault, however this influenced my experience in the hotel heavily. Also the wifi was quite slow on the room. The breakfast in the morning was good.

Beautiful hotel. Stunning view of the harbour and ocean, should u have a sea facing room. It is two hotels on one property. Excellent service, friendly staff. The attention to detail and the home away from home feel.

The size of the rooms are awesome and spacious. It is very comfortable. The only issue is a stuffy smell of the carpets. Maybe an idea would be to lift them and put tile or laminate floors down? Food is okay but staff do not understand dietary restrictions such as halal, vegetarian, etc. this hotel is very close to the beach and about 10 minute drive from the airport in East London.

Beautiful & clean Hotel. Rooms are so spacious and beds comfy. The staff are all welcoming, friendly & helpful. I've joined them for the Breakfast Buffet before and all the food was made with "Love" (Awesome). Enough parking & very safe.

Service is poor. No water to drink in the rooms. It was better if there is sink in their kitchen unit. House keeping is poor, they take time to tidy up and No towels in the bathroom. The Service is very poor. Hotel is nice though and the restaurant staff is very friendly.

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are neat and the food was great! The reasons for my rating are: 1. there was no hot water, we called to get it fixed. They sent a maintenance guy after we called again in +30 minutes to follow up and the guy said hot water will come out in 10-15 minutes. +45 minutes later, there was still no water. We called again and then they said they'll send someone to come move us to another room. +45-an hour we called to follow up on the move to another room!..and then 10 minutes later a guy cane in to help with the move. They guy was polite and apologetic for taking long and even checked that the new room had hot water. 2. We ordered dinner from the restaurant and an hour later three was still no food delivered to our room! I called to follow up and +20 minutes the food came and the guy was at least also apologetic about the delay and we even tipped him despite our frustration!

Honestly cannot fault anything. The room was beautiful with a comfortable bed. Received good service from the reception and I liked the security visibility throughout the hotel and parking area. The service my partner and I received from Benjamin at the Salmon Restaurant was impeccable. He was professional, classy but also witty at the same time. The food was just perfect! We enjoyed every moment.

Located in the beachfront area of East London in the Eastern Cape. Staff were friendly and helpful. Service was way above average. Food at the restaurant was freshly prepared for both dinner and breakfast.

My stay was definitely not AMAZING but was neither bad, it was good. Was there for 4 nights, would probably go back. The dinner was well cooked, rooms are relatively clean, nice and big, the view is beautiful in the morning and its amazing to sleep at night and listen to the conversation of the sea speaking in loud and soft waves. Things I did not like: the breakfast was definitely NOT nice esp the sausages (were offish), mince (not nicely cooked) etc, the mat in my room smelled a bit damp like it had not dried from being washed, having a central ironing station is just an inconvenience, the structure of the place is also a bit confusing, its a maze, the staff were ok some were nice and others were there to just do their job. Also would be good to have blankets in each room.

Stayed here on our final leg back to Durban from Cape Town. The hotel entrance was a little confusing to find . The service & staff was exceptional. Had an issue with the dampness smell in our room , & they sent a dehumidifier with perfume in it during our stay.

Loadshedding, from 6 till 9pm???? The rest of South Africa has a two hour slot!!! and no generator? For such a large hotel group this is bottom line pathetic. At least the balcony has an awesome view over the ocean.

The only problem is that when there is load shedding the back up only covers the lights . Just this morning I was forced to eat the ice cream 🍦 that was in the fridge because it was melting. Please improve your back up system πŸ™.

The hotel was great, rooms very clean and modern, the only issue was the hot water which was a faulty water heater, but the hotel provided a spare room to shower in. We were offered another room but were leaving in the morning. Great location and under cover secure parking. We only stayed two nights and never experienced anything in the restaurant, we did try room.service which was good. Just off the beach front and we used Uber quite a bit and had no issues with that and them finding the hotel. Looked like the best accommodation on the Esplanade Road.

A lovely big hotel. Stunning view of harbour entrance and sea view. Undercover parking with easy access to reception areas. We booked 2 rooms but only needed the one. Reception staff were friendly and happy to collect the other room key. Housekeeping were more than willing to help with extra towels. Long and winding corridors with different lifts to catch to your room, which is a little confusing. A suggestion to the hotel, maybe have a porter to take you to your room. Thank you for the 1 night stay. We are safely back in Durban.

There is no option for being provided with an iron and ironing board in 2023. The guest has to walk to a common ironing area - WHY? Food ran out at dinner this Sunday 18th June 2023. My booking is for dinner, bed and breakfast. No apology. No explanation. The sliding door does not lock properly - in a country with such alarming crime rates, especially for a woman travelling alone. The room service number goes unanswered. The WiFi is weak , cones and goes. Please look for other hotels before booking in at this hotel! Oh, before I forget, getting to most rooms needs a GPS, pack your Tomtom please - you’ll thank me later.

It’s really tough to know how to rank this hotel. It’s beautiful and the staff are warm and accommodating however two important things made my rank it low. 1. It does not have Wi-Fi . This is ridiculous, especially for a massive conference venue. It made life and work very difficult and it was deeply frustrating. I can’t therefore recommend anyone stay there until they sort it out. 2. In the middle of the night I got up to go to the bathroom. I stayed in a suite and had closed the room door- at 3am the door would not open. It’s one of those knob handles that would not turn. It was very scary. The sliding door also wouldn’t open. Luckily there is a phone in the room and could call reception. Alarmingly they told me this isn’t the first time this has happened, and that because I had also put the latch on the front door maintenance could only come at 8am to let me out. They advised trying to open it with a towel, which did eventually work. It was a very unpleasant experience. One highlight was that my colleague got mugged and they took her bag with her room key in it, we alerted the hotel and because she was afraid someone may have accessed her room, a security officer stayed outside the room Until we arrived back.

The place is really beautiful. It's irritating that the passages are long and winding. Everyone was complaining about them πŸ˜‚. Otherwise, I had a great stay. Affordable.

Best hotel & Venue to host large numbers for accommodations and conferencing, but the food is really bad, they need to cook fresh food, not serve people with yesterday's left overs and the beef is so bad that they use spices and vinegar and marinades to hide smell or rotten meat,Chicken was bad, fish is better. 2/10.

The hotel is lovely, very large and well decorated. The rooms are all spacious, from standard rooms to the sea facing suites. Very clean, friendly & efficient staff. The Salmon Restaurant serves lovely buffet style breakfast & dinner. Alcoholic beverages are a little pricey (my colleague paid R53 for a glass of red wine). The Emerald Spa is also a lovely experience. You're greeted by warmth & the scent of essential oils. I had a 30min neck, back & shoulder; my colleague had the hydrobath treatment - both were relaxing and under R300. The spa and the restaurant offer exquisite views of the ocean across the road. The hotel also offers a gyms & a business centre/ work area on the 2nd floor, that's accessible to all guests, even once checked out.

I had an amazing stay at Premier Hotel EL ICC. The hotel stands out in terms of dΓ©cor, staff members, and warm reception. I stayed there with my colleagues for two nights, and I must say that the rooms' level of service and setup are of world-class standards yet still affordable. The hotel's restaurant served us breakfast and dinner, and the service from staff members and the ambiance were outstanding. The buffet offered a variety of fresh foods that catered to individual preferences. I want to give a big shoutout to the kitchen staff and chefs at this hotel for their excellent work. I wish I could take the lady who served us fresh scrambled, sunny-side-up or omelets eggs with me to Johannesburg to enjoy the proper English breakfast every morning. Overall, my experience at Premier Hotel EL ICC was wonderful, and I will prioritize staying there during my visits to East London. My sincere appreciation to the hotel staff for their excellent service. Keep up the great work, guys!

From the reception to the general assistant, the staff is the best, they make the place feel like home. Their warm smiles and hospitality is very welcoming. There's one particular staff member by the name of Bubbles, she is the best and an asset to the institution.

A beautiful place. Hotel staff was really kind and helpful all the time. The view of the ocean from the room we had was amazing. It was a little bit of a walk but manageable. Housekeeping always came through and did an amazing job. They have a buffet breakfast and I enjoyed everything they had to offer. Wifi may not be the best, it gets weaker closer to the top floor. Their outside area has beautiful pool with a view to die for. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone staying in East London.

I had such a horrible experience. The reception stuff were friendly. However the room was just a disappointment. Our linen was dirty and glassware were not properly cleaned, you could still see juice marks from the glasses. We were not allowed to finish our cocktails in our room from the restaurant. There was also a mixup with my booking, they said we need to pay extra for breakfast after I contested they double checked and apologised in such a dismissive manner. I left so disappointed.

Initially there was a misunderstanding regarding the room booked, had to walk from one building to the other with heavy luggage, which wasn't pleasant at all after that was taken care of I had a wonderful experience. The food was good, the service from the restaurant staff was awesome, they are super friendly and professional. There was a lovely old man who wouldn't confirm whether or not he was the manager, he made my morning when I noticed him being very attentive and friendly not only to me but to all the guests during breakfast, bless him.

This place is horrendous. Firstly it's like a maze (once you have been there you will understand) There's no logical order for their rooms. Rooms were smelly, bathrooms were filthy and staff were unhelpful. Went with 5 other families and all the rooms were the same. Rooms had a musty smell. Would warn people to stay away from here. They only approve good reviews on booking.com

Positive. Nice spacious and clean rooms. Nice free parking. Nice view if sea. Need some improvements. 1 need 2 point power plugs next to beds for charging. 2. Need more lifts to take guests up. 3. Staff members using the only one public lift going to 4th floor. 4. No chairs nor table to sit outside room or at swimming pool. 5. Plastic glases in bedroom. 6. Need more dustbins everywhere. 7. No information file about services and spa.

The hotel gives out internet vouchers that expires at 00:00 and you must wait until 8:00 in the morning to get new vouchers. It's very inconvenient for people that are on official stay. You can improve, giving out vouchers to your long-term guests at this day and age is low.

woooow this place is superb, I mean am travelling a lot but there's no better place than this facility. Starting from the reception lady by the name of Phiwe who checked me in on 2022-06-07, you made checking in process easy and for that I thank you and keep up the good work mtase. This is facility gives one elegance service and value for money. You guys deserve round of applause πŸ‘πŸ‘ πŸ‘

Service. The staff didn't have the welcoming "we care about your stay" attitude. It did not have a 5 star kind of service. And the plates, when people finish eating after ordering room service. It doesn't smell or look nice in the hallway cause house keeping only comes in the morning so it stays there for 10h+. The place was beautiful just the parking area could use some cleaning and the staff could be more caring about the guests staying there.

Room was immaculate and clean. Hotel restaurant is competitively priced and food delicious, making it easy to dine in. There are restaurants nearby but as indicated, no need to leave the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very kids friendly environment. Located on the beachfront, cool breeze in the morning.

Very decent hotel, especially for East London. I can recommend it. Sea views from most rooms. Reception desk staff lady was not great at all and could not find my booking for some time, but rooms are clean and spacious, but a very small tv. There is a gym too which is nice and a pool, though not heated. The SPA also closes very early, at 5pm. Restaurant has a small limited menu but also offers a buffet.

In East London, one of my all time favorites for over 10 years! The only thing that needs attention is the lighting in the rooms - it needs to be a bit brighter please. Otherwise awesome team, great attitudes and beautiful views!

Sefton an his team are incredible, they go the extra mile to make their guests happy an feel at home. Their quality, principles an values of their property are amazing. Sefton leads by example makes his guest feel like family an personally greets them I've witnessed this an hats of to him. His staff are always smiling an have most impeccable manners. The staff from house keeping, front line reception, restaurant, security and porters are the best. Lastly an most importantly I would recommend premier hotel as your place to stay always.

Such a lovely hotel and great beach views. Potential!!! Definately not 4star treatment... Pitty security and management was unable to manage some of the guests. Had loud parties in the rooms. After taking 30min to respond to the noise disturbs it still had no effect. No apology, or any compensation or mitigations was suggested by the hotel. So, be willing to move around at midnight to find a quiet hall way so you can sleep
