My family and I were met with a refreshing professionalism and kindness when we checked in last night around 8pm, from the security at the gate and the receptionist, it's a pity I didn't take their names but they gave us the best service that's very rare to find.👌✨️

Nice place when you're a group of people that you can book at least nice and clean

Service is excellent in terms of customer care, choice of TV channels on offer leaves a lot to be desired, and breakfast. There seems to be no one to check the quality thereof in terms of breakfast.

The weekend front desk staff are incredibly rude. You have to rent an ironing board. Towels are dirty. It’s awful

We were there with a group of 32 people and everything seemed fine at first, but minutes after entering almost all of our check-in cards stopped working. The staff wasn't always 100% friendly, but they still helped us, willy-nilly. (The problems came up more often) At breakfast there was almost always the same and the scrambled eggs were actually always cold. But you could still stay there for a good 5 days. The rooms were very nice and cleaned when requested

Horrible… I was hosting a delegation from Dubai. I can’t rate any service because there was none. Breakfast was dry and horrible. Phones in the room were not working. There was no room service. I could go on and on. There was nothing I could commend on. Unfortunately garden court was fully booked. So was second option premier. I thought road lodge would be same standard like the big cities would’ve been. I’m so dissatisfied. So much to tell on, overall, I will never bring business here ever again.

The swimming pool is small Love the fact that loadshedding doesn't affect you☺️ The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean They didn't put enough coffee supplies.

Cool for work but not vacation, It's on a dangerous bend on the main road, small rooms food takes time, the short stuff their have on duty is overwhelmed by the amount of orders and guests present at times. The hotel has loads of possible growth but at this stage they need to invest more on their menu and their breakfast buffet

The showers and taps electricuted my family in 2 seperate rooms. When reported, we were told that they recieved " some " complaints the night before.....But we were offered a complimentary coffee🤣😂🤣😂

Easy to get & excellent service. I just feel there's not too much variety on the breakfast menu

The bathroom door was not working, The bathroom light was not working WiFi was very slow for my personal preference No bar fridge

Everything is perfect, only problem is the sound density of the rooms, if someone is loud in the hall, you might be awakened.

Water supply stopped for some time in the mornings or the water was lukewarm. It really smells of cigarette as you walk in, you must put something under the door and close the bathroom window so that the smell does not come in to your room. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also if you don’t like their food, you get a R250 spur meal voucher.

The place is just ok. But i can that i slept in cheaper places with better quality or standards. Menu does not have variety in terms of choices. Rooms do not have fridges. Shower was luke warm the evening and cold the next morning

There were guest smoking in some of the rooms and I was awaken by some of the guest speaking on top of their voice. The hotel is situated next to a busy road and you will be awaken by the car noises.

2 days is enough. Breakfast lacks basics like bacon and sliced cheese.

Provides fair and safe accommodation on a budget. Breakfast is served on premises but no in-house restaurant facility. Rooms are standard and smoking rooms are available. Centrally located near the Vincent CBD.

Staying here and working in IDZ. Service has faded food service standard also sliw and quality not to thrir normal standard. Lobby and dining area used for parties

Worst place i have stayed at every time i stay here something is wrong on this occasion there was no kettle in the room shower head is broken no hot water tried to order from their so called kitchen it only took 20minutes to get someone to help me and another 10minutes to get a menu how can they only have 1menu but want to run a restaurant biggest joke this place is a absolute let down so much so that I will never again book in any of there lodges iam even going to cancel my booking in pe as well i would rather sleep in my car then have to pay for such kak service never again

I used to visit Road Lodge Centurion, but with Road Lodge East London ot was totally different. Rooms are bit small and I didn't like their breakfast. Waitresses were all over the dinning room, u can't even eat in peace. I didn't really enjoy my breakfast😴 😩 😒

The Road Lodge (East London) is very noisy and we couldn't sleep with people shouting in the corridors the entire night till 3am in the morning. Also, your prepacked breakfast is really poor please up your game. I would never book a group with your guys again. Its really unbearable the noise.

Reception was very friendly, rooms was comfortable and clean

Very friendly staff. Water problems when visited. Hotel started with the installation of water tanks to resolve problems. But overall, very pleasant stay.

I was greeted with a broad smile, didn't wait long to book in, complementary snacks and rooms are nice and clean. Second time back here and won't be the last..

The place is clean but I would rather do in courage you not to drink water from the tap cuz it's a little bit dirty

This hotel is extremely disappointing. Last time I slept here the linen was not clean and smelled like sweat. I've come again and have had a similar experience. The pillows smell like a smoking person was sleeping on top it. The rooms are too small and showers are blocked. This is my second and last stay at this place. Extremely disappointed
