Festive English Pub, especially Thursday to Saturday nights there is a younger crowd.

Even with loadshedding, this place is organised for some chow. Recently tried pubs in different provinces, and none beat the value for money on their pub grub - baskets are a winner here! Good vibes always.

Service was slow. The girl who was attending to us (I forget her name) was an abrupt, feisty little thing, but I guess that comes with being a waitress at a dusky joint like Abbotsford Arms. On another note, the food was good; my buddies and I ordered some crumbed wings that would give KFC a run for their money, and a variety of sauces to go with. We ordered the bourbon BBQ dipping sauce, I think. It was smokey and delicious! We ordered a second basket of fiery wings with some fresh chips that came out the kitchen nice and hot and went down well with the cold brews!

A total disaster. Food was disgusting 🤢 my chicken strips looked like they were fried in old oil, over done. After forty minutes we were told that we couldn't have the special that they had advertised as the grill wasn't working. When I wanted to speak to management a drunk disorderly "person" came and claimed that he was management, only to find out later that he was only the glorified doorman. When contacting the owner he was so rude plus his f...k f...k language was shocking.

Great atmosphere...This is one of the best places to check out in East London

Great chilled place, friendly staff, great atmosphere, lovely place. I didn't order, though but everything else was fantastic, definitely recommend it and I'll be visiting

This is great place to chill and vibe. The atmosphere is great, so are the patrons. Security is top class along with service. Toilets are well maintained and clean. You get a real sense of being in a pub, esp with great multiple dishes to choose from aside from the main attraction of their non/alcoholic selction of drinks to wash down your food. If you are around East london, and u miss this place..you missing out on some real fomo vibes. Pleasure visiting this place, looking to more visits from me

Wow, Wow, Wow. Awesome place, Service at the bar was extremely slow though. Waited over 30mins to get served.

Good luck trying to get a drink at this establishment on a Friday night, but the music usually great and vibey crowd.

Food and drinks are excellent so is the pricing. It just gets a bit crowded and you struggle to get your drinks. Barman is awesome though.

Good atmosphere. Had a drink that didn't taste the way it should, but management quickly sorted it out without a fuss. The bar wasn't full, yet there were people waiting very long to place their drink orders. Would I visit the venue again? Definitely 😁👍

Food is beyond superb....well done

The food communication needs much attention. Thursdays are bunny chow on special but more than once there is no bread available. Also Like today. And a well done steak ordered should be well done. Not underdone.
