A night in "The French Room" was a divine treat. After an absolutely taxing day of work, I felt utterly spoilt. From a foamy bubble bath within the bedroom, with a cup of steaming tea in hand, to watching a game of golf from the luxurious, simply enormous bed, it was just all so divine! The bed headboard is designed as a balcony, overlooking a mural of French gardens & rivers. After a sleep in the clouds, I awoke to a gorgeous day, stepped onto the balcony & into the treetops, with a cup of coffee. Amidst the sound of morning bird songs, and with avacado fruit hanging in the branches, frangipani, palm trees, elephant ear plants & gregarious bougainvillea, I felt utterly refreshed. A dip in the pool, and short slide into the twinkling waters delights the senses & restores one in ways unimaginable too. Thank you Sue, for hospitality beyond expectation, a scrumptious breakfast, and service beyond expectation!

When life takes it's own turns and you end up at The Loerie Hide, it's a blessing! Exquisite rooms, from decor to comfort.... from descent, delicious portions of food to homely atmosphere.... arriving as a guest and depart as friends. But don't just take my word for it, go experience it for yourself!

My wife and I had 3200.00 dollars stolen from our room. We were told by Sue she was going to make good on the money, but Sue is not honorable and never did. So if your concerned about your safety and don't want to walk into a room while some people are steeling your possessions, don't stay at the Loerie Hide

Susie is an exceptional hostess. The guesthouse is situated on a quiet road and nestled amongst the indigenous flora of the area.

What a beaut. A home away from home. The rooms are massive, hospitality unmatched. Carlene has a heart of gold and amazing with her guests not o mention the divine full breakfast. The bnb is set in tranquil surrounding close to all amenities, restaurants and there's a spa a ealk away from the place. I can't think of a better place when in East London

If safety and security is a concern, I would suggest not staying at at the Loerie Hide. The owner changed the maid we had without telling us and the new maid stole three thousand two hundred dollars from our room. The owner promised us she would make good on the money. She was not honorable and never returned one penny. I have written reviews before and she replies with lies.

Loved staying at The Loerie Hide. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, beautiful rooms and gardens. The pool and swim, so refreshing at the end of the evening. Five stars. Thank you Loerie Hide.

You can run but you can’t hide. Strange but when we arrived Friday afternoon there were lots of runners in the area. Needing the exercise I joined them. I simply cannot hide the fact that Lorie Hide is a must stopover. It’s our second time and I’d come again. Spacious rooms, clean and nice linen. All one needs and a great full on English breakfast. They even served it in our room.

Comfortable private cottage with a very relaxing and charming view behind it. The staff was very nice and served us a warm breakfast. There is internet and space to park. There was also a cute little dog while we were there that was eager for pets.

If you're looking for a beautiful, quiet, secluded place to enjoy alone or with a partner, then this is it. You can hear the birds in the morning. You won't believe such a place exists until you've been there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the hussle and bussle
