Great place to stay. Very private. Friendly owners. Incredible views from the dining area. Makes breakfast an awesome experience. Comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Spotlessly clean, in a very quiet and peaceful location. The owners are very nice people with a gentle character of hospitality.This may have been the first time we stayed here, it certainly won't be the last!

What a lovely guest house. The rooms are comfortable and the view is great. The hosts are so hospitable and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant one. The food is great too. I will definitely be going back there the next time I'm in East London.

Shower was clogged, water accumulated, was all over bathroom floor. Shower only fixed a day before departure and we stayed there for 3 days. That is dangerous since one can slip and fall. No she bins. No tea or cereal on counter top. Towels were not changed. Manager and owner are friendly ppl bt services need to improve. Ironing room gets crowded.

I have stayed at this guesthouse for the past 3 years at least once a month. On the few occasions they have been full I have had to book in at other spots. Needless to say it is always a pleasure to get back to Hoylake. I'll even change guesthouses mid week if a room opens up.

Also note that this is not Hoylake Inn's physical location, it is located at no. 6 Hoylake Road, just up from the corner, look for the double story.

Amazing visit with wonderful friends.

We had an awesome 5 nights stay at Hoylake Inn. The manager Dylan was very welcoming & friendly. The owner Laura was also very friendly. The cleaning staff personnel were also very helpful & kept the room clean throughout. We would definitely not mind staying there in future.

The experiments here made it my first & last at a 3 star , the bedding was not standard I expected, i could smell the other people s odour on the pillows, the sea view I asked for was blocked by a bush of trees & was made to pay for something I didn’t experience. The lady is not friendly to be running a business like this when a customer is not happy ! I would never stay here again , even a back room at a township will be better.
