I have just experienced the most distasteful service from the owner at Sand Castle B&B in East London. I was trying to inquire if they got rooms available. Firstly I called to check, but they weren't picking up. Now because I am around the area, I drove past to check in person. I got to the gate and rang the bell....she basically came over to the gate....I greeted, no response. What i get is "what do you want?" and then looked at me like I am some criminal and walked away. This is the kind of stinking racist attitudes we don't want in this country. If she is unable to interact with black people, then she must make it clear so that we don't bother trying to inquire about accommodation at her B&B.

This is an excellent b&b. Perfectly situated in a quiet area close to nahoon beach. The right place to go for short breaks and business stops. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and with pleasant sundecks and natural views of the sea. Charming hostess who makes feel valued as a customer, real home made breakfast and pricing is very reasonable. This is my place to stop when i am in East London.

Jill was a delightful host and very accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked perfectly. A very pleasant stay.

Its a beautifull guest house, clean and very friendly service its also very close to nahoon beach. I dont think you can get beter than this. Will definitely stay there again.

Sandcastle is a little shabby around the edges but makes up for it with its excellent location and charm.

Clean, neat, nice location and great value for money. Will go back.
