Very nice spacious room. Good breakfast and nice friendly staff. Convenient for that side of East London and well run.

The wifi is terrible and you only get 500mb of data for your stay. They dont offer any dinner, but you can order from reception with Mr. Delivery, it's not ideal, but it is a bit frustrating. Breakfast is also served a bit late, so if you have to leave early for work, you have to buy food on the road. The rooms are nice, but the linen for the beds are a bit dirty and I dont know if I had bad luck with the linen, but it needs a wash to get the marks off.

My home away from home! I have stayed at Devereux Lodge regularly over many years - the best in East London. Bright, Pumla and all the staff are so super-friendly and see to all the needs of their guests. The period-style accommodation in spacious rooms (in the main house) is clean and comfortable and breakfast, made by Felecia and her team, is scrumptious.

Perfect place to overnight. The Rooms are super clean and beautifully furnished. Special nightcap waiting for you. The veranda allows you to privately outside. Breakfast tasty and the staff efficient and friendly.

Nice place to stay in EL. Friendly team make you feel welcome. Traffic on a Friday night in Devereux Ave did keep me awake with wheelspinning and racing in the early hours.

I’m so glad that we found this place to stay at! Absolutely the most lovely staff, you guys make this place amazing! Everyone is so friendly and they always have a smile on their face. They were very helpful and gave us recommendations were to go and were to eat dinner. At last, everything is very clean and the breakfast is really good!

Great staff and ambience - we were looked after amazingly well throughout lockdown and my heart will always cherish the team in Deveraux Lodge. Stay here for a great atmosphere and faultless service.

Stayed for 3 days at Devereux lodge in June. The sanitization and hygiene protocols are of the highest standard. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to ensure your comfort. Rooms have all the necessary amenities. My home away from home in East London.
