😐 Place is ok, better on the photos. The issue is the view which is not the same as you see on the internet. I got a room with the view to the road which is very noisy with so many vehicles driving up and down. If you are looking for a quiet and tranquility this is not the place. People often mention friendly, nice, room, clean, Eugene, stay,

A surprisingly nice venue. A walk from the Nxarhuni (Nahoon) beach which is extremely pleasant. Although in town, the peaceful surroundings make for great sleep and rest. The bathrooms are not ventilated which can be challenging, but decent linen and great service make up for it. Not a bad spot to stop over.

Lovely stay as always at the Reef Apartments, the rooms are fresh and clean, and we slept nice and warm without the need for electrical blankets πŸ˜€ lovely hot shower available in the room we had. The kitchen is well equipped for an overnight stay, microwave kettle fridge.. Eugene our hosts was very helpful and waited for us as we arrived late, he even provided an LED light for our room as we expected loadshedding...the Reef Apartments are definitely recommended...

Thee Reef serves as both a hotel and long stay facility. Rooms are self-cayering with kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, sink and cutlery and crockery. There are old ceiling fans, but no air-conditioning. Rooms are clean and neat, however, due to the frosted glass doors light from the passages shine into the room... this means that the room is not completely dark at night. For some this may be comforting, but for others this could be quite bothersome. There is no communal reception space to meet people, and also no meeting facilities. There is safe parking in personal garages, but with a big vehicle it might be hard to drive comfortably through the narrow passage to get to the parking. Reception is friendly, but the whole building does have a slightly impersonal feeling to it. Not clinical, just not warm, and cozy. The building is within walking distance to the beach.

It's a nice semi self-catering comprising a kitchenette (microwave, fridge, sink, kettle, cutlery). It also has a balcony. There are no air conditioners but there is a fan. It a walking distance to Nahoon Beach.

There was a leak that hadn't been fixed and it ended up leaking in my room and my friend s room next door when it started raining. Otherwise everything else was nice. If only they had bowls within the dishes they let you use

Not good, 2 single beds put to each other as a double bed.. Wouldn't recommend this place, because there's no place to braai, no View as it post on Website, No Dstv and very small!

Pictures attached to this venue does not reflect the real venue. Basic and bare minimum, good for one night only if on business. Sabc 123 and etv only, no wifi voucher offered with poor cell phone ceverage.. no milk for coffee only powder milk. No breakfast during Covid-19 and no shampoo in the bathroom.

The Reef Bed & Breakfast quant and convenient and is in a beautiful part of East London. They however do not have double beds and merely use 2 single beds pushed together, which is uncomfortable. They also did not have breakfast available and no WiFi is unacceptable in today's day and age
