Our experience was unbelievable. From the beginning our guide Caitlyn/Kaitlyn went above and beyond to make our game drive just perfect. She was sweet and explained everything to us (it was our first game drive ever). We were able to see zebras, blesboks, impalas, lions, giraffes, rhinos, monkeys, eagles and more. All thank you our guide that was able to spot animals from super far. I was really hoping to see giraffes and she made her best to make it happened (and we made it!!!). After our game drive we had lunch in the beautiful restaurant they have in the reserve and all the staff was just wonderful, like the food. When we finish with our meal we went to a guided walk where the guide was great and told us about different trees from the reserve. Thank you for this amazing experience and going above and beyond to make it perfect for us.

I took my fiance for a two night stay to celebrate our 2 year relationship. The food was delicious, awesome animals (lions are my favourite) and very friendly staff! Special thanks to Willam and Tammy for taking such good care of us. We will definitely be back 😉😉(possibly for the wedding)

WOW!!!!! From the moment we checked in, it was 5 star treatment. We were greeted by Chad who was our tour guide for the weekend, treating us like royalty. No words can describe how accommodating he was, making sure that our stay was perfect. The meals were to die for, massive portions and super flavourful, the accommodation was comfy and had everything we needed and safe😀. We were blessed to see a wide variety of wild life on our game drives and had the full safari experience with super fun roads and weather. It was the best birthday my daughter has ever had, topping it off with a special birthday dessert and song led by Kristi and staff. My husband and I also rate it as one of our top getaways EVER! THANK YOU, FOR THE AMAZING AND TRUE SAFARI EXPERIENCE. A special shout out to Graham. Kayleigh and Kristi and an Extra one for CHAD!!!!!

I went for game drive with friends and it was absolutely amazing. The drive is +-3hours along, a bit of a bumpy ride with many valleys and steep inclines but it's all completely worth it. We managed to get quite close to a pride of lions and saw various other game as well. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend it.

Had a Sunday buffet. The food was delicious 😋 Unfortunately, we had to rush through the meal as we had to catch a flight, and the food was late due to loadshedding. I would suggest that people dish from two different dishing stations as the lines get very long

We had such a great day out in beautiful nature! Though we did not see a lot of wild animals, the 4x4 drive by our guide provided spectacular scenery. We manage to see lots of antelopes, zebras, ostriches, giraffes ... and of course lions. Would love to come back to "find" more animals. Thank you to our knowledgeable guide Gareth for showing us the beauty of Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve.

Very nice and large reserve. Much better than some others which essentially feel like a drive-thru zoo. Chelsea was our guide, I believe. She was very sweet, funny and knowledgeable. We saw lots of wildlife and birds, though unfortunately with the weather the lions did not make an appearance. Overall though, great experience. Cheers from Canada!

We had our delayed Unit managers Christmas lunch, yesterday 18/02/2022, the drive to the lodge was full of shrieks of laughter as the land rover bounced over the rough road. William our driver was an awesome guide. The venue is stunning, the food delicious. Thank you to everyone.

Went there last night for a Burger evening. The burger was huge and tasteless. You had to pay R20 for a sauce, which was rather bland and R20 for chips, which were horrible. The music was dismal because the sound distorted and the owner who was also serving, is rude. I won't be back

I had a great time, went there with my school. The stuff was lovely, overall had a great time, we also received free drinks!

I had a fun time quad biking at Inkwenkwezi. The service was stellar & our guide was amazing too. The game reserve is very beautiful & well taken care of.

We celebrated a friends birthday there. The food was awesome there at the restaurant. The entertainment was great! And the price cannot be beaten!

Nice bush camp with a private game reserve. Hans and Karl were great drivers throughout including a return to reception in the cold driving rain. What an experience! Very knowledgeable on the biology of the area. Great place to hold a business retreat. The food at the lodge was excellent, especially the size of those t-bone steaks. Wow!! We will come back.

We have been to Inkwenkwezi Private game reserve numerous times, we usually have rangers Willem and/or Tammy who we have shared excellent sightings and build our knowledge of nature. When we there in September we have had ranger Johan who have teach us a few new things. Food excellent. We enjoy our stay every time.

We had a wonderful time at the game reserve. We had a buffet lunch that was totally delicious and the staff was so helpful. Remember to book in advance if you want to have the buffet lunch. This is a great place to spend the day with the family. Great value for money and entertainment for the whole family. We will definitely be back.

We stayed over for the night on Saturday as we had just got engaged. There was no hot water due to the gas at our room being finished , when we phoned to try get someone to come help us we were spoken to disgustingly by the owner. The gas wasn't replaced and therefore could not get hot water and had no shower. It's disgusting the price we paid for our night and yet couldn't even have a shower, but the worst was how we were spoken to.

Wonderful service from start to end. Our guide lead us and informed us all the time of the activities. Game drive was special seeing all the animals, lions and rhino's were close to us. Food was great and staff friendly and helpful.

We had a really pleasant stay at the Game Reserve, we definitely can recommend staying there! The guides are awesome and know a lot. The animals are all in good shape. Overall, a great experience that we will do again!

I was there this past weekend and wont lie i had a very amazing experience with my wife and kids but two separate occasions made my rating go from 5 to a 2 because i hope more people wont fall victim of this. 21:00 on Saturday we had loadshedding and on other occasions i would hear the load generator being switched on for business to be as usual but when loadshedding hit us at the lapper while still enjoying dinner, Chad, our game driver told us sorry, they dont switch on the generator for only two guests as this was not feasible to them. We had to take what was left, switch on our phones as torchers - this was heartbreaking because when i followed this up with another staff member there in the morning, she expressed that they were also shocked. Same on the following morning we were scheduled for breakfast and there was loadshedding still going on and were told that power is coming back in 30 min so it would not be worth their while to switch it on again for two guest. Never in my history of consumer service have i heard this before - we paid the same money as the many people that would have been there but choose not, yet we were there and wont lie this just tainted a very good experience so i truly hope no one else will be made to feel this inferior again and politely told 'you not that important at Inkwenkwezi'.

We had the Sunday roast buffet style lunch, it was delicious! Then we went on a 3 hour game drive, which was awesome! We saw zebras, impalas, ostriches, rhinos & lions! I highly recommend eating here & going on a game drive!

The staff were more than willing to help with anything. They offered ample help and services The tents are so cute and have the most amazing view. The food was absolutely delicious, it felt as if it were made with love. So much food to choose from! Definitely felt at home here.

We visited you on the last day of our honeymoon and what a highlight. Thank you very much Christi for an exciting day especially in the lion camp. 😜. Your hospitality and kindness made us feel almost like old friends. We will definitely recommend you and would love to visit again

The place is really good at its primary business and that is animal care. The animals are all well kept. The main lounge has a lovely ambience, but in my opinion needs a bit of attention or spruce up. It is still worth a visit for families, tourists, schools, visitors and so on.

Our first time coming here, and what a lovely place!! We joined for the steak night special. The lady at the door explained how the process works for your food and drink orders while walking us to our table. The vibe was wonderful, they had Rick Earth singing there for the night. Food was amazing!!! Staff were all very friendly. Will definitely be back again!!!

Attended a wedding here, and it was amazing! Beautiful venue and surrounds, amazing food, and service was fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Great place to eat and friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere and the owner is so hilarious. Everyone is amazing here. They are a family.

Where to begin. The family and I embarked on 1 of their game drives and had the privilege of gazing upon some majestic wildlife from impala, nyala, springbok and water buck to bushpig, giraffe and some magnificent lions whilst embracing a beautiful warm ecosystem of open fields and lush enclosed ravines. Refreshments were served along the way, our tour guide was very knowledgeable I was still able to learn new things even after watching natgeo for the past 30 years. The wife and I also attended 1 of the dinner buffets recently and all I can say I'm disappointed in myself for not knowing about this sooner. The atmosphere at the dinner was unbeatable with the friendliest of staff and the food was amazing! Did I mention that this was all incredibly cheap!? 5/5 we definitely going to become regulars!

My hubby and I went to celebrate our anniversary and all we have to say is WOW! What an amazing express we had even though it rained the whole time. The food was absolutely incredible! A big shout out also has to go to our ranger ,Johan who was more than willing to go our of his way to make our stay the most memorable. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! We will most definitely be back!

Staff were absolute gems.... The tented chalets were clean and neat. The only problem here is that you can't go anywhere away from your chalet (not even a stroll through the Bush) you rely 100 % on your guide to shuttle you around. The roads are insane and you can take your own vehicle. You get shuttled around in a 4x4 game vehicle with other guests. So you constantly have to be with other people you don't know. (covid!) Unfortunately our other guests were LOUD and bombastic. We could hear them constantly from our chalet, in the gaming vehicle and at the dining lodge. I found everything but peace and quiet here. I couldn't get away quick enough. This would be a great place when going away with a group of your own friends and family. But for peace and quiet, alone time and some freedom in the Bush. I would never go back.

Fantastic. First impression last longer. Found to be a warm welcoming environment with friendly and caring staff. Very assistive to children and everybody else when need arise. Hope to return my trip soon.
