When I arrive at places, I first look at the camping site. Grass was cut, gardens were neat, ✔️, shower and toilets were clean, ✔️, reception and hosts were friendly, went out of their way to ensure everything was ok for us, ✔️, everyday the toilets and showers and premises were cleaned, ✔️, would I go back, most definitely.. Just so few places that are truely well maintained, ALL staff friendly and helpfull.. Thank you to owners AND all staff. ✔️

Received best hospitality Swallowtail Country Estate. Even the money we paid for camping was far less for service we received. At other places the price we paid could have tripled with such services. Best entertainment area for campers. The owner welcomed us with a warm smile and made us feel at home away from home.

I cannot recommend this campsite enough! The owners are amazing, great views, awesome facilities. And in close proximity to all the pubs, restaurants and hiking trails. Also it is pet friendly.

Beautiful, cozy and so comfortable! Fireplace was definitely a plus in the cold and I would definitely recommend staying there. Clean, cozy, comfortable and surrounded by beautiful views.

This cottage for 2 was just perfect for us for Christmas. We took our Weber for the Roasts as there is no oven except for a two place gas burner but there is a modern Microwave with a grill function among many other settings. I was worried about the bar fridge but I think it's slightly bigger than the norm and suited our needs for our 3 night stay. The huge stone fireplace inside was amazing. The plants, hedges, trees and flowers surrounding our cottage were stunning. The entire gardens of Swallowtail Campgrounds is so beautiful and the variety of bird life was so special to experience. Thank you Ansie and Hubby for your hospitality, we will definitely be back! Regards The Carroll's.

Swallowtail is a fantastic country side accommodation resort, it has space for camping and caravaning yet they also offer cottages. The lounge area is large beautifully layered out and perfect for a big event There is also a kid play area and lots for the kids to do, and right across the start of a hike leading to a waterfall Another 5 starts goes to the host who will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable

This place is amazing. We are a couple and stayed in the cabin named melody it's super beautiful and cozy, great for a couple getaway with a fireplace and all you need. We just loved it. The Host Tannie Ansie and Oom frik are the most generous people THANK YOU SWALLOWTAIL. WE LOVED EVERY MOMENT.

Location, service, value. Great camping!
