I'm so impressed by this new Cecelia, the service is top tier. The staff is friendly, it's indeed not different from a private hospital. I arrived at 6 am and I didn't wait for hours to open a file. The patient was assisted quickly just that Dr's take time to arrive.

Horrific! We brought in a patient to be admitted to the psychiatric ward, she is in a condition where not one can handle her, we have to wait in ward 13 which is a sort of reception, waiting together with extremely violent patients. There is no order we have been here for hours on end and still waiting. She had ran out 4 times already and counting

This Hospital should be closed because all the employees from reception to the hr are incompetent. the staff is rude and talk to people like trash. i am very disappointed at the level of service. When the put in their cv's they say they are people friendly but that's not what they do once they get the job.

Best hospital ive even been in. Everyone is extremely nice and helpfull. They are taking such great care of my twin babies. And even took very good care with me as well. I cant complain about anything. From the food to the stay to the care and people. Everything is fantastic & neat. I will refer anyone to this hospital. Truely greatful that i ended up here.

I'm soooooo disappointed with the way patients are treated at G3, the nursing staff of day shift on the 28th August were sooo unprofessional, we had to change the linen for our mother who has renal failure, bath her & even had to go into the empty linen room to look for clean sheets, was not even available, while the nurses were busy on their phones and catalogues. We were even told that we can't change linen frequently regardless of how dirty it is. The toilets are dirty, the patients are not well looked after.

CMH is the best hospital that I know ,they are clean, friendly and they always do there best to help you....may God bless them

Ward F3 - the toilets are still out of order and makes is dangerous for the patients also, because the one is leaking so much that there are towels on the floor. We got there yesterday for the first time, very impressed with the service and overall cleanliness of the hospital. Very thankful that they could assist my husband, he is still there and will be there for quite some time. He had his first operation today, epidural, came back into his room, fell off the bed and couldn’t get back onto the bed. The other patient called a staff member to come and asssist him, when she got there, she had a very bad attitude and told him to hop back into bed, and this just after his lost half of his leg? Not on!

Amazing hospital 🏥

Trying to phone and no one answer, just to get a bit of infomation about our family member, this is so frustrating. Please employ competent people to handel basic task.

The hospital is excellent and do tours are also. The nurses are also ok . But toilets are broken no water running to flush once used by patients. F3 WARD IT SEEMS toilets are broken and hope they will fix soon. Other then that service is ok but can improve alot more. Really

Dont care bout their patients just like the rest of the hospitals around South African my girlfriend was transferred from Adelaide hospital to Cecilia Makiwane to give birth now shes done n discharge now the nurse say she must take a taxi home, Adelaide is far from East London very weak service now she must stay there till whenever a ambulance comes to Adelaide or else i must pay the taxi R1050 to bring her home

This hospital's staff lack professionalism I think all of them from reception to nurses including doctors they do not want to help ppl I was there on the 29 November at about 9 o'clock and we were helped the following day on the 30 November 2018 at around 14:30 poor service indeed

Modern hospital

It is impossible to have a 24 hour hospital when the phone is continuously ringing with no answer. For 3 hours already, that time I am trying to find information about my family.

Great facility for the local community. Beautifully maintained garden by hard working garden staff.

was formerly employed in this hospital in the 80s till 2001 busiest as its a reffering hospital I have seen that its under construction &development can the flooring be renewed from the cement floor for the health of employees A&E was busy after Ward2 i.e Medical OPDwas closed &Pharmcy so nurses would be dispensing as well &other items wont be available from this emergency department &this was causing a problem for other patients who were reffered to CMH Security was a challenge when taximen shooting was rife other victims were not safe as hospital was easily accessible ,but the nurses were hard working sacrificing their time ending working overtime where Iam people ask if Iwas a Dr where Icame from Iam proud of CMH keep up the good work guys,Sr Tyamzashe
