We had a shocking experience here on Friday. My daughter Sage (23) had a terrible pain in her side. Went to Intercare. They gave her no pain meds, no urine test, no bloods, but a referral to the Frere! I flew from work to get her out!!!! A friday night, during a pandemic, the week bottle stores opened. She was traumatized!!!! No one asked if she could afford a private hospital (we can). She ended up in BB life where a urine test showed a kidney infection. And inter are charged her R520!!!! For what???

Very good and well run establishment with friendly and caring reception/front desk staff members. The Drs are also ok BUT Dr Du Ploy is a terrible Dr, he lacks interpersonal skills and honestly does not care at all. You will wait a whole week for your prescriptions and he will not bother to adhere to the institution’s timeline of having the script ready within 24 to 48hours. He will literally pass you in the waiting room and not bother to greet you and then go place his things in his office and come back with a fake smile to call you into his office to “help you” . Because I have an autistic child I just assumed that maybe he treated us like he did because he might be autistic himself hence the lack of interpersonal skills. However, If that’s just his personality then it’s just sad. Like I said , it is a well run establishment but Dr Du Ploy is really doing an injustice to us as patients and I never ever want to be treated by him ever again let alone my son. Do better!

The Doctor made a decision to see an adult healthier patient against a sick baby. The nurse's response is that it is the Doctor's choice who he decides to sees. So please be wise in chosing the doctor you consult.

Really appreciate for seeing me on such short notice. Ure receptionists is really friendly and i feel that's where the customer service stopped. The Dr/Dentist did not have me in mind the whole process, and then came the R1000 invoice for a consultation without medication. That's just greedy even for a practice like this. All i wanted was a prescription for antibiotics, a sick note for today and tomorrow as the infection in my tooth makes me feel ill and that's it. But before even hearing me out it was just sit,open, x-rays, invoice get out. I don't care how long u studied, I've been living with myself for 33 years. I know what i need to get by and i pay u to assist with that and it wasn't cheap. I need a note, and antibiotics and rest. U gave me one at a fortune's price. Bey bey intercare.

My husband and I will be visiting Intercare soon because we are pensioners now and our medical aid plan has changed. We have been there previously and we have always been treated well by doctors and staff. Very convenient because we also live in Gonubie.My sister recommended Dr Hugo to us.

We are privileged to have the Intercare medical centre in Gonubie, which has such good doctors and specialists. I'm on holiday at Kenton on Sea and yesterday was in desperate need to see a doctor, and unfortunately no doctor in town. However, I was able to get a telephonic consultation with one of Intercare's doctors, Dr DuPlooy. He got to the bottom of my problem and prescribed meds directly to the pharmacist which have worked wonders, and I'm on my way to hopefully enjoying the rest of my holiday. Thank you Dr DuPlooy, you are so appreciated 💟✔️

Admin need to wake up there and get their eyes tested . They claim from incorrect persons medical aid , send script to pharmacy on the wrong persons info , contacted them to correct and redo all on my profile as its suppose to be and yet they still make another dam mistake . Always pulling the wrong persons file . Everytime i have an appointment i have to fight with them and to ensure they pull the correct file . Online bookings ask for full name and ID number but that obviously doesnt matter to them cause none of them can read . If there was another health care in gonubie i would rather support them.

Get my chronic pain medication late on Friday(with different meds not as discussed with Dr), and get told I'm annoying reception and doctor can't finish admin work. Who comes first, patients or admin? Dr tells me to chill and threatens to stop writing scripts. Like my pain is a power game to them. Diagnosed with CRPS, one of the most painful conditions and the Dr is clueless, he should of told me he can't manage me.(They want to play god) He says I must go to emergency if I can't handle the pain. Had to beg to speak to the manager -She rudely answered the phone without a hello, just "Aiden..". Then after saying she doesn't understand and doesn't have time for me - she hung up. This is why I'm going to therapy. It's not worth the fight, they don't care. Go anywhere else.

Poor except Radiography. Doctors are great. Dr Weis Dr Brink, Dr Cornelius are superb. Intercare will dive bomb when these 3 leave I'm sure... Admin and billing a total nightmare.

I'm seeing Dr Uys. I've never met a doctor who cares and fights for her patients as much as she does.

My husband visited the dentist Dr Lisa Mzimba today after suffering a absess. She was absolutely brilliant. As visitors in the area we were very impressed with her and the friendly helpfullness. We can absolutely recommend her as a brilliant dentist.

Have phoned twice for an emergency only to be told that they just can't help. How can they not have an emergency dentist?

I had on more than one occasion had bad experience on the dental side first time tried to make an appointment as a urgent matter as I broke my tooth had to phone them three times instead of them coming back to me then I went on 3 May as I broke the same tooth then was said I will receive a quote via email on 21,22 and 23 May I asked someone to please find out what was happening only to be phoned by Dr Cornelius himself apologizing as he forwarded it to the wrong email so that they could not realize since Monday while I informed them the same tooth worked on is broken again and I need the quote to send to my medical aid three weeks needless to say I made an appointment with another dentist fortunately Dr Weis is a principled Dr and very good otherwise Intercare would never of seen me again

I visited my dentist Dr Hannes Cornelius for treatment and as always was treated as a friend and made very welcome . I even chatted briefly with my husbands Dentist Dr Moekie Stamper . Love this surgery and the staff are always friendly and helpful worth going to visit.

Most professional and comprehensive medical practice I have ever been to. Dr Moekie Stampa is amazing.

Dr Weiss has taken time and care to assess my needs and he has given expert care to my daughter who has 2 chronic conditions. I am always greeted warmly and I absolutely love their Covid protocols - keeping us all as safe as can be.

Whole team friendly and helpful from Reception to Xrays and Nurses. Dr Weis was great and I felt in good hands with everybody there. Thanks so much, really appreciate the way I got helped!
