When that contract you signed up for lapses, it's expected that you cancel and confirm you cancellation, but it's impossible to reach anyone to cancel the contract. Answer: YES! Your implication that I am commenting here based on heresay and not first hand experience is at least missinformed and at worst, blatant dishonesty! Regarding your simple system: I followed all the instructions given in person, via email and on the phone, very carefully, but was stone walled, until a made an appointment with the manager in person, regarding a "Personal Matter." (Because I couldn't secure an appoinment if it had to do with a cancellation or refund). Even then the appointment was missed by the manager. I then received an email... etc etc. etc. As it stands now: the contract has been cancelled, but still "NO REFUND" and "NO RESPONSE" to my emails!!!!!!! Please get your facts straight before accusing someone here!

Do not sign up with this gym!! Thieves at best! Been trying to cancel my contract with no success. They're quick to answer questions but as soon as you want to cancel they go quiet. Im going to the bank tomorrow to stop the debit order since no one responds to my emails.

They’ll basically continue deducting from your account even when you’ve cancelled on time. Choose cash option if you can. In terms of training, there’s only one consistent trainer (the lady). No one is really keen on helping you on the ground except when you join classes. The pool is almost always closed, only one friendly receptionist. In conclusion, I would not recommend. Still want my money!

My son loves it. I was in the process of changing banks so I pay cash monthly. They have asked for bank details but I'm happy going in to pay every month. No problems at all.

Not much good to say about this gym, if you can avoid signing up here rather don't they are corrupt with contracts and debit orders the only safe way to sign up is with monthly cash payments. Wouldn't recommend edge fitness to anyone.

The worst worst gym ever I regret ever signing a contract with them …my membership expired and they kept on deducting I tried contacting the manager who never responded to my emails when I call nothing still. Went to the bank to stop the debit order now im being harassed by debt collectors saying im owing a huge amount …this gym is honestly the worst …I tried emailing them countless times tried calling nothing worked no one should put themselves through this.

Men's lockers stink.... because many members have bad hygiene.. AND their smell stays in the gym because of poor air circulation.. some members use the hand basins to wash their dirty underwear... Why are some members rolling the weights on the floor with their dirty shoes...??? Why are some staff making loud noises with members on the floor..??? *** GYM RULES AND CONDITIONS MUST BE ENFORCED... STAFF MUST WAKEUP AND DO THEIR JOB..! Otherwise the owner must get rid of them...

Ha, good luck finding the place. When I eventually found it, the employees seem to not care that they don't market location. I paid for a day pass, and asked if I could use the wifi so I can let my gf know I made it to the gym, but they said the wifi is only for members. Good luck

Cool place to train, gets the basics right. Friendly staff. Put some proper mats down for some jiu jitsu brother!!

For a small town gym it almost has everything good people and they help where they can

I signed up at the beginning of October and so far I am absolutely loving it though! Only wish they had the pool running. I know it would make lots of people happy. But great vibes, great staff!

Good day. Hope all is well. So let me get started. I think it was the 7th March 2018 i went into thw Gonubie branch gym for an interview and was told and promised by errol and jameela that an email would be sent to head office and that they would phone me the same with an answer. Everyday is a new excuse when i try to follow up. One person keeps blaming the other. I am not one to complain or bad mouth. But the service is not good. I jusy want to know what is going on? The way they interviewed me is like you have the job. I will call you later to ask when can you start and nobody is getting back to me. Please can somebody help me. I want the job amd have so much to give. Thank you

Very bad service. The manager does not get back to its clients after a complaint, even after a couple of phone calls, asking him to get back to you.

shocking service. I sent an email on 14 dec 2017 and a follow up on 4th jan 2018 and verbally to receptionist. no feedback what so ever

Okay gym, horrible management! Double debiting their members is commonplace also beware the half year leavy.

I train here when i'm home it's only been about a month now. The gym is well equiped and everything works well.

Attentive staff

Admin is slow to help resolve issues. Prices are fair and the gym offers allot of services. Took me a few months to get my membership card and they don't enforce their rules. All the equipment are well maintained and they keep everything cleaned.

Good small affordable gym. Good for anyone. Has most machine even though you'll need to be creative to target other muscles. Personalized training also offered with women's section too.
