Our favorite camping place in East London but recently it is too popular and full camping with our dogs. So for the first time we camped down at the river with them. What a pleasure.

My family and I absolutely love yellowsands.We live right around the corner i Sunrise on sea but we camp at yellowsands often.The ablutions are immaculate and there's always hot water and great pressure.The resort is very well kept.The family that own and run the resort are such a friendly and humble bunch.Our kids just love it here.By far the best camping experience in SA.

Must be in the top 5 of campsites in the country. Good access to the beach and lagoon,clean bathrooms and many loos around the campsite. We have found a high standard maintained as we have visited a few times.

Wow.... lovely rustic yet well maintained camping sites right on the river bed. Offers spectacular natural beauty and peaceful surroundings. We had only a short stay but plan to definitely return again with friends. Highly recommend for all camping and outdoor enthusiasts.

Great place for camping. Riverside camping is awesome for a more "nature" experience. Pool and facilities is very nice and access control works like a charm. Highly recommended

Great Camping spot.

This is for the bush-camper. Grassy and some shaded stands. There is power but the ablutions are rudimentary, to say the least. Open air 'boma style' showers, with prefab. Toilets and basin. You are on the lagoon/ river with slipway access if you fish or paddle. Birders will love it, with lotsa water birds abound in/on the estuary with the tide coming in twice a day... Beautifull scenery is a super plus ...it makes up for all the other, not so nices .... Peace and quiet is this camping spots name ...can give it 5stars for scenery only ...

The riverside campsite is great. As the name suggests, you’re right near the river. The ground is relatively level and the ablution blocks are more than adequate. The river is good to paddle and swim in, just be careful if you head to the river mouth.
