A
fully
comprehensive
diagnosis
was
not
made
for
a
horrific
accident
and
an
incorrect
prognosis
given.
Instead
the
injury
was
casually
addressed
in
a
passage
and
not
a
consultation
room,
with
assurance
that
complete
healing
could
be
expected
within
a
period
of
4
to
6
weeks.
Eye
contact
in
response
to
questions
was
not
made
with
myself
and
answers
given
clearly
irrelevant
to
the
extent
of
the
injury.
Pain
management
was
under
prescribed
for
such
a
traumatic
injury
and
without
any
sedative
to
allow
limited
mobility.
Suggested
only
to
consider
caging
him,
not
explaining
the
reason
and
benefits
for
this.
No
follow
up
appointment
was
requested
by
the
Dr
to
the
staff
or
the
patient's
owner.
Closing
comment
was
to
let
them
know
how
he's
doing!
Total
and
utter
negligence
to
patient
and
owner,
showing
no
empathy
and
no
quality
time
given
to
the
owner
in
all
aspects
of
expected
caring
professionalism.
False
hope
at
a
time
of
heartbreak
is
unacceptable,
as
with
a
second
opinion,
the
heartbreak
is
exasperated
by
learning
the
true
extent
of
diagnosis
and
prognosis.
I
would
never
recommend
that
your
furry
children
ever
set
foot
in
the
associated
clinic.
I
am
highly
disappointed
in
what
was
perceived
to
be
a
place
of
emergency
trauma
care
and
treatment
when
sent
by
a
veterinary
practice.
Ensure
that
questions
are
asked
prior
to
just
accepting
referrals
to
this
practice.
