Might be wise to skip the cafe. Tables are not wiped after patrons leave. I found a piece of foil wrapping in my food. The floor is filthy and my dish was served without the fresh fruit. Also, many of the foods on the menu is not available.... truly terrible. No man W cafe!

Truly happy today.. we ordered 4 curtains via the app online, when it came we realized we needed another 2 more curtains. When we checked the online shop again the item was sold out. I made contact with the local Woollies store in Hemingway mall, was assisted by Johan On the management team.. Johan managed to find 2 additional curtains for us and we purchased them today at the store.. so much relief now that we are completely sorted with the 6 curtains. Thank you Woollies thank you Johan.

I Really and truelly wish that the prices of items can be displayed properly. Was there this morning and again I had to hunt for the right prices. Also nobody around that knows the prices. There are signs at some produce that say you Save R20 if you buy 2 of each etc but, no actual prices. I got so frustrated that I just left without buying anything.

Don't appreciate the new advertising stance. Very one sided and offensive to a large portion of the population. WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE SUPPORTING WOOLWORTHS ANY LONGER EVEN IF THE PRICES ATE LOWER THAN OTHER STORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love this store, friendly and helpful staff, clean, aisles are full and goods are absolute quality. Shelves are well stocked and it is easy to find what you require.

Good closes late than other stores. Very convenient for basic home needs like milk.

This is thee worst Woolworths I have ever been too first visit hardly anything on the shelves 2nd week into January Then I buy a phone I’m told if there’s any problems do return within 7 days What a lie I go there the next coz my lcd flashed white but stopped I was told there’s basically nothing they can do coz they can’t see the problem Then miss big shot manager comes to tell me we cannot assist we just sell the phones Useless as hell but thanks to the lady who sells the phones and cellphone manager they were helpful and did try their best Otherwise two horrible experiences is enough to turn me off

On 26 March 2023 I came to the store @ Hemingways escalated my complaint regarding a grocery item I bought to a floor Manager Mr Ntsika who received me very well & rectified the complaint I'm feeled with gratitude - Thank you once again for your customer satisfaction 🙏

Wonderful shop selling men's, ladies and children's clothing. Woolworths supports the Made in South Africa brand! Vast grocery department. Highly recommended.

As always Woolworths is a very very clean store and staff can improve a bit they not always helpful but i love the store i can't afford all the clothes always but i like it and the food is sooooo good real quality.

This store is well run, clean and well stocked. You are likely to mostly find what you’re looking for.

Woolworths offers a great selection of products at a level of quality not found at any other store... There fresh produce is always fresh and also looks so appetizing... if there is an exotic item you are needing for your recipe, woolworths most probably has it was there wide selection of products... there prices are not to bad and when you compare it to the quality it is worth it in the end.

Bad customer service, I bought 2 piece pjs and they were not the same size, now I have to travel again for an exchange , very bad customer service when I called to enquire about that, not even an apology .

This is a convenient store where you get everything that you need. Their food is always of top quality, not to mention their ever fresh cakes. Customers are always attended to professionally. It is also exquisitely neat, tidy, and inviting.

Woolworth in East London don't keep all the products they advertise and nobody even suggested to get it for their clients. Staff attitude are we do you a favor to serve you. Cashiers are friendly and great the clients

Woolworth standards and customer service has gone down.... Their staff are unhelpful... All they do is make a noise.. even when you are in their stores, the staff are standing right next to you and making a noise with other staff.. laughing , joking at the top of their voices... all you hear is " Ha" ...and " He`."..... What happened to control, management and good customer service....??? Well, at Woolworths, it has disappeared ..!

I would just like to complement the Hemmingways Woolworths for the outstanding way they are running their food section during these busy and difficult times. They opened at 6 this morning. Retail is tough on staff over festive seasons... But its always a pleasure visiting a woolies and this one is no different :)

Thee worst woolies I’ve ever been to, orders take forever to come.I think also some of the staff is overwhelmed they seem not to have the experience to work in a restaurant. orders come with some items missing. Two occasions I had to say if you have not done a certain item leave it. I’m definitely not coming again this is just too much now, I can’t keep wasting my money like this nah shame I’m good.

It is the same as any other Woolies, a nice place to shop at with all the necessary things you might need. A restaurant, grocery shop and clothing store.

Not so bussy insite the mall and shop penty parking avilable.

Always love my woolies stop for a delicious dirty Chai 😋 and literally everything on the menu is great...my favorite is my go to scrambled eggs with Woolies rye bread....then I go do my woolies food shop, Hemingway best of both worlds 👍

Delightfully surprised to see this sign up at the entrance, albeit it was now past Pesach. These days not all stores put the effort in to acknowledge the respective cultures/faiths of their clientele, which is a real shame. This is also not consistently shown across all retailers. So kudos to this store for doing it.
