Waited an hour in line to be told to check online for details pertaining to what is purchasable in the store. Agent clearly had no interest in selling anything because she said theres a policy against giving third parties any information about products, price points or availability for fear of the store being robbed! Never been so insulted in my life. To add insult to injury I went to the hemingway's branch same day and was assisted with the utmost hospitality. Get your staff in check they have no desire to work or be of any form of assistance.

Terrible Service. Got a contract out 2 weeks ago, still not working. Today will be the 3rd time going in to see if the problem can be resolved. I recommend a client to get a top up data contract at this branch. Six weeks later I had to go into the store with her, wait 4 hour and to try resolve the issue. One of the staff said we can leave, the matter was being handled, the store manager did not know anything about it and the matter was not being handled. Would not recommend going to this store if you need prompt professional service.

Awefull experience. Twice. Lines move very very slow. One can see the grass grow while standing there. There are 4 or more service desks but only one or 2 people working when it gets busy. The lady at the door does not deal with one customer at a time. She jumps from one to the other and neglect you. Happened to me twice. Dont know bout others

Terrible store. Skip que numbers, can never assist with anything. Its always "call the call centre" then you call the call the call centre and they "you must visit a store" then you must use your own airtime to sort this out.

Even 1 is too much. I bought a router in October 2020. I took it back within a week to the Vincent TELKOM shop because it wasn't covering my area. They have taken more than R14000 of my account. I'm still waiting for my full refund after hundreds of tel.calls and visits at this East London shop..one time I almost got beaten up by a staff member because I demanded to speak to the manager. If you want this kind of a service and your money taken by TELKOM GANGSTERS than be my guest. It's plain daylight robbery. I'm a 71 year old pensioner and I got robbed by TELKOM

Great experience after loadshedding

The level of service, courtesy and customer-centered attitude I received from the stuff members that were assisting me was world class! I applaud and take my hat off for them! I am beyond happy! Thank you for making what was a big mess (which was my fault) seem like a walk in the park! Keep up the good work and I hope you do the same for others. This store has very bad customer servicing abilities. A visit to this store is never under an hour. The staff are friendly and helpful when you eventually get to speak to them. There are only ever two staff members assisting customers despite the numerous employees mulling around.

Service is not good, can't get hold of any one over the phone and their queues are insane. Weeks trying to get an upgrade on Internet that should have been sorted. Lots of unnecessary redtape preventing this store from doing any productive work. Nothing can get approved without a manager in the office, so if none is there, best to rather go home unless you enjoy queues. Definite no stars from me

The queuing system is not great during loadshedding as everyone that needs help needs to wait in a line outside the store. There were a few older people in the line and the staff told one of the older ladies that asked to sit on a seat next to the door that she couldn’t even thought there was ample seating inside. I myself have a back issue and would have preferred to be seated like the ladies inside who worked there. That’s not the kind of service I would expect from one of the biggest companies in South Africa. When the electricity was back on the ticketing system working great however we were told our line would be cancelled in 1 or 2 months time, I’m not understanding why we weren’t given a direct answer. I suggest for a tech company they work on a better offline ticketing system, here’s a chance to be innovative, or invest in a generator since loadshedding isn’t going anywhere.

Why spend all that money on advertising to bring customers and then have such backlogs, bad quality signal. Then there's the waiting in the loooong lines at the stores.

The waiting times are ridiculous, and while COVID 19 protocols have obviously contributed it seems the store isn't doing anything to mitigate the situation. There was an elderly lady that the employees kept passing standing in the queue
