Since they close early at night because they sleep early as the man at the door said, we went early in anticipation of a nice pizza we usually get here. This time the Seafood Special, short of shrimps, but doubled on mussels was salty, dry and difficult to digest as we noticed in the following 24 hours. You have to stay on your usually well maintained standard, Guido's Beachfront. This time we give it a Zero.

The best pizzas. Friendly service. I must always go to Guido's while I'm in East London as the pizzas are amazing. Only negative is that there is no branch in Cape Town.

If you want to chill with your family come to this place. Kids love it here as there is a play area and they are monitored so no worries about their safety. Nice food at reasonable prices.

Wonderful family orientated restaurant right in the beachfront. Loads of activities to keep the kiddies busy . Amazingly well priced mini for both children and adults as well. So whether you are dining out as a family, a couple or just hanging out with your friends, try Guidos!!

Popped in for a quick lunch as the place books great memories for me as a joburger. Focaccia was ok. Pizza was great. Steak was terrible. Not the overall level I expected.

It was over a decade ago I visited this Guidos and we will be back. Amazing playroom. Great sitter. Food was excellent, matched with the service. Definitely our new go to place when we need the kids to burn energy. There is even a sneaky little smokers bar that had ice cold tequila. Hands down the best family restaurant in East London.

A very happy family experience. Good sensitisation protocols in place. Safe and secure for children. Food selection was good and the food well presented, fresh and tasty. Mostly Italian in style, but because it was an unusual outing, I opted for their Eisbein. The result was really worth it. Service was very attentive. Worth a visit if you are in East London! Only moderately expensive. OK for a special family dinner. 👏🏻👏🏻🤗

Ordered their most expensive Pizza and was sooo horrible with a dripping sourish sauce that gave me and my mates a hell of a heartburn!

We love their inside playground for kids. Very friendly atmosphere and people. Food is tasty too. Their pizzas are the best in town.

If you ever want to have an absolutely exceptional pizza, this is the place to go. The Ben Hur pizza was absolutely amazing. Great menu to choose loads of different things to eat.

28 December 2023...As a visitor all the way from Pinetown KZN, after a long day, I decided to have something with the kids at a family restaurant and Guidos Beach front met my expectations. When we had a medical emergency with one of my nieces, we struggled to get the ambulance but by the grace of God, The Restaurant manager offered to take us to St Dominic's Hospital, ensured that we get assistance before leaving. Now this is beyond serving customers, it is Humanity. Thank you so much to the Guidos staff members who looked after my other kids while I left them there until I came back from hospital. I had a delicious fillet steak with pepper sauce, butternut, green beans and fries. The steak was cooked perfectly. The service was also outstanding.

Bad experience and bad service. The pizza was mediocre and our waiter did not check on us at all after she brought our food. When I told the manager he shrugged it off. We won't ever go there again.

Too wait over an hour for a can of coke is not on. My friend ordered a milkshake and it was all melted by the time she got it. I ordered a pizza which never came. And the the cherry on the cake THEY JUST ADD GRATITUTY to the bill!! So I'm forced to be grateful for the worst service EVER

Guy brings me a hot coke no ice he was rude to us .my wife still wanted to order dessert and the bill was thrown at us .spoke to the Manger and ya nothing R400 down the drain been throwing up all night never will I go back there never . They do not even have the desensy to say sorry . He said he would call me to day still nothing

Pizza was great, though it took forever to be ready. This was a quiet night with hardly 5 tables in the shop. Worst service as usual. You won my daughter's heart with ur gaming area. I love ur food but service always under par. You need to take time to train ur staff.

My favorite restaurant in East London. I visit at least once a week for numerous reasons: service, food and most importantly for the MUSIC. 👌 Their playlist is amazing. Best Pizza I've ever tasted in East London. Humble waiters. Guido's is your go to restaurant when you need an escape.

Great food love the Wednesday eisbein special was very tasty and affordable.

I bit said that we had to pay R65 per glass of sugar water with a slice of lemon and cucumber but the food was ok. Ps it's not a cocktail if there is no alcohol in it.

Take Aways.... Phone in your order, then collect at the 'drive through'. Very convenient during these Covid times!!!!

I haven't had such tasteless food in a while. Myself and the company I had had to throw so much salt over both our pizzas as well as the pasta. This is a good restaurant to bring kids to, but not adults who enjoy good food. We had to run around looking for a waiter, get our own menus, then search for the waiter to ask whether the food was ready or not. Horrible, we were even told there were no side plates for the pizza.
