    Fantastic experience so far. They actually pick the phone when you call. When I went there, the staff were very friendly. Although their payment system was down, they took down my number and have been updating me about the situation. The queues are not as bad as they used to be, since they added the new appointment-based system.

    In the past we dredded going to a government office well let me be the first to say things have changed well done it was a pleasure being there i have new respect for the effort the staff ..well done 10/10 👍👍

    Made a booking for 14h00, arrived at 13h00. Very friendly staff assisted and we were finished at 13h30. Well done to everyone at the traffic department!

    Absolutely useless...! Just another government department, where employees do nothing, but pitch up for work, and eat and drink... BUT DONT DO ANY WORK... They don't answer the phone... They have no clue what's going on... What about the useless traffic cops... all they do is sleep under a tree somewhere.. Why don't they patrol and do their jobs..??? Instead , they have roadblocks in suburbs to stop "soft" targets for outstanding traffic fines... WHAT ABOUT ALL THE INFORMAL TAXI RANKS ON ALL THE PUBLIC ROADS AND EVEN ON THE N2 NEAR GONUBIE, ETC...??? WHY IS THIS BEING ALLOWED ...??? WHAT ABOUT THE BAD DRIVING BY TAXI DRIVERS AND TRUCKS..?? WHY IS THIS BEING ALLOWED...?? THE TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT IS USELESS...!

    They have got a fast service since that you book your license on Natis then they give you a date, you are able to plan your things on time.....Thumbs up!!!

    Couldn't get my car registration changed from my bank to my name. Had to go all the way to Gonubie traffic office, where it was done in less than 10 minutes

    Renewed my driver's licence, having made an appointment via what's app. 2 ID photos, ID book or passport, current driver's licence, Proof of residence and payment required. Staff were efficient, informative and on time. A special thanks to Akhile Shenxane who was courteous, quick, well informed and made the whole experience great. Akhile is an asset to the Department. Well done and thank you.

    Best service ever and all the staff is really really nice and friendly never have i ever met anyone working for the government that is so friendly, Great Job keep it this way the world can use more people like this. I'm really really satisfied with the service.

    I didn't get assisted as per my expectations and I am still unable to make an online learners booking. The lady who is redirecting clients to their respective areas was very rude and unhelpful

    This establishment is evidence of the lackluster management and employee culture that we see all too often in state run businesses. The employees clearly hate being there, and take it out on the people who come there to seek a service which is so important. Luckily we have the Wilsonia and Gonubie branches or nobody in this city would have a license of any sort!

    So in terms of having to go to the Traffic department, I highly recommend Braelynn. They are helpful patient and for the most part friendly. They deal with everyone hating having to be there and waste time. But they handle it all well. Highly recommended

    Poor service is honestly an understatement I swear. If you don't know someone there already pissh trust me rather clear your schedule cause your spending half if not your whole afternoon waiting to pay💔.

    Worst service one can ever get from any establishment and to top it all by the time I got back to my car they had given me a fine for "unlawful parking". In their own premises!!

    No point in booking a time slot and then have a free for all because there was load shedding. Not all staff are at their work stations. Thank you to the staff that were doing their their best.

    Good friendly service. Just take note. When booking online make sure to print and complete all required documents and proof of booking when going to the traffic department. As my name was not on their list. But I went with my printed proof of booking, which helped. Also go with a copy of your ID and Driver's License, they don't need to be certified.

    Be prepared to spend the whole day here as the service is the poorest I've ever seen. The one area that should be fast (cashier) is the worst. You sit on a bench outside for the whole day with no update. To call their system slow is kind, it's non existent

    The worst experience of my life. No indication or someone that assist you when you get their fir the 1st time. Enquiries is no help either, have to sit in a queue to wait for renewal documents or to book for your licence. Can't phone either to make a booking online.

    Went to renew my drivers license. Took me 30 minutes in and out done ! Had an appointment for the renewal …. and my eye test done by my optometrist though But overall good experience Well done 👏🏼

    They didn't tell us that the applications for licences closes at 11am. Then the next day the eye test verification reached its quota even though we got there early. Only got booked on the 3rd day. You can pay with cash or card though and the staff are helpful everything is just very slow.
