We had a fantastic stay! This is a perfect family getaway if you love the bush and camping. We managed to see a whole bunch of animals, we even got a very warm welcome from the giraffes as we made our way to the camp. The view from the campsite kitchen is spectacular. I would definitely recommend this stunning place for a break from the hustle and bustle of life.

Very peaceful. Saw some game. Long grass needs to be burnt off. Roads markers in some places are missing. Accommodation very nice. All in all a relaxing 24 hours

Took the family for a self drive game drive. We all had a very enjoyable day. We packed a picnic lunch and stopped at one of their well maintained picnic spots and thoroughly enjoyed lunch. Its was so peaceful and bliss to be outdoors. We also saw plenty wildlife that are not camera shy. We were very surprised at how accustomed the animals were to the vehicle thus offering excellent photographs. They also offer overnight stays in tented camps or camping. Horseshoe game reserve is definitely well worth a visit for the whole family.

Went there twice. The first time I had the best experience as I had booked the cabin. Second time wasn’t as great as I booked the tent and the tent zips could not close, the charging port didn’t work but at least it was a warm night. The new owners assured me that with the renovations they have in place, the place will have improvements.

A fantastic place, we enjoyed the stay very much. Only downside was, that we were not equipped with enough time and a 4x4 car

What an adventure! Stayed in the tented camp, double bed and a double bunk for kids. Weather didn't play the game but views were amazing! Animals stayed in bed due to the rain, saw a variety of buck and some zebra on the last day when Sun came out. Got caught in the flash flood, went 4×4ing just before it hit, such fun 4×4 roads but best when dry. River started to flow like no other due to the flooding, had to get helped out. Huge thanks to Andre, The owners dad and the crew for the help out, got a bit lost and talk the "ultimate" trail! Definitely worth a weekend trip, FYI, rain effects the roads a lot there!

Yhooo we had a lovely weekend away from the busy world. The tent experience was so amazing. We literally used gas to cook and no appliances what an experience it was. This suits the family however play park would be lovely so that our kids can have fun playing as well. Other wise for couples its a great Gateway.

We had a wonderful, peaceful Friday, but our stay were short lived when a bunch of rowdy and very loud guests ocupied the adjacent tent . Management were not willing to adress the issue, which left us with no option other than to cut our stay short and left.

😐 Very challenging hike, but rewarded with beautiful views and experiences. I do however feel that for the price you pay for the hike, things can be done better. The overnight facilities - relating especially to the "bathrooms" are in a terrible condition. I'd rather opt for a bush and a wet wipe - I'...
