I
don't
usually
enjoy
backpacker
accommodation,
however
we
needed
a
spot
in
Morgan's
Bay
over
Christmas
and
this
was
one
of
the
few
affordable
places
with
a
spot.
We
were
lucky
enough
to
get
a
double
room.
The
room
was
lovely:
king
size
bed,
2
bedside
cabinets,
a
chest
of
drawers,
shelving
for
clothes
as
well,
2
plug
points
(1
on
either
side
of
the
bed),
additional
blanket
if
required
and
best
part
of
all:
a
gorgeous
view
of
an
old
tree
and
the
green
of
the
garden.
I'm
a
map
freak,
so
getting
the
room
with
maps
as
wallpaper
was
such
a
win!!
Loved
looking
at
it!
The
service
provided
by
Corlea
was
great.
She
and
Valie
are
great
people
who
are
very
involved
and
engaging
with
their
guests.
They
made
us
feel
like
'part
of
the
family'
on
Christmas
eve
and
Christmas
day.
Corlea
had
secured
an
open
shelf
for
us
in
the
fridge
as
well
which
was
necessary
and
she
quickly
got
us
settled
in
with
a
guide
pamphlet
for
the
area
and
wifi
access.
They
also
provided
us
with
some
great
recommendations
of
events
happening
in
the
area
and
advised
on
hikes
we
could
do.
So
if
the
room
was
great
and
the
hosts
were
great,
why
not
all
5
stars?
-
the
room
was
mouldy
and
stuffy,
we
had
to
have
windows
open
all
the
time
to
try
get
rid
of
the
damp,
mouldy
smell
-
we
were
very
hot
on
our
first
night
there
so
took
the
duvet
out
the
duvet
cover,
only
to
find
so
many
stains
on
the
duvet
as
well
as
mould
growing
on
the
duvet.
-
there
was
no
mattress
protector
on
the
bed
which
seemed
a
little
strange
given
that
it
is
a
Backpackers
with
multiple
guests
coming
through.
-
all
the
soft
seating
had
dog
hair
all
over
it
and
for
someone
allergic
to
animal
hair
this
meant
that
the
only
'safe'
space
for
me
to
sit
was
the
wooden
benches
-
I'm
also
allergic
to
smoke,
and
there
was
almost
always
smoke
at
the
entrance
door
to
the
main
living
area
-
although
I
love
the
idea
of
solar
heating
and
being
off
the
grid...
After
2
days
of
rain/overcast
weather,
I
was
a
little
'over'
not
having
hot
water
to
shower
in.
-
the
staircase
to
get
down
to
the
backpackers
can
be
a
little
challenging
to
handle,
especially
if
you
have
a
lot
of
luggage,
are
possibly
injured
in
some
way,
are
coming
in
after
dark
when
the
pathway
is
wet.
-
the
backpackers
is
further
away
from
the
lagoon,
Beach,
cliffs,
hotel
etc
than
other
accommodation.
