Loved to see the redesign of this public hospital into a top rated facility with modern architectural features.

Fast and efficient staff!. Cecilia and Frere hospital is a complex and i work on both hospitals. I wont lie it is always packed with people since it caters mostly for people who can't afford to pay but over the years past 3yeas there has been much improvement and waiting time has been reduced significantly! They don't even send people to the private hospital anymore they have their own machines now since 2016

In December 2017, I was tasked by the company I worked for to oversee the 2.5km ECG Fibre Optic build to the new Cecilia Makiwane Hospital Project. The Hospital is beautifully designed and built. From what initially seemed to be a maze, was pieced together by helpful staff and maintenance services, which made my job that much easier. It's truly a beacon to the community and the city.

Well trained staff. Brand new equipment and very organized department. Queues move fast and on busy days the longest you'll wait is an hour if not caught on the lunch break

Superb Government Hospital! My wife and I have been here many times and will return if necessary. Our baby boy was born here. The staff are friendly. Facilities are very clean...the hospital is user friendly. There is even an in house home affairs office...makes registering your baby super easy. Security is strict but friendly and helpful. Folks...don't be scared...come to CMH. Plenty of safe parking. The CMH is very easy to find. And the Mdantsane City Mall is 1km away.

Situated in Zone 9 at Mdantsane. Newly renovated. There's also a newly - built area, the one that is in use now. There's no difference between Cecilia Makiwane and the private hospitals we like using.

The service has noticeably improved. The Doctors are thorough, And that gives me so much comfort to know that I'm in well capable hands

My baby was recently born there. The upgrades are wonderful, the nurses are wonderful. The service is on par with private hospitals.
