The Free Clinic of Simi Valley is honestly one the best places to go to get help if you don’t have insurance and don’t have enough money to pay to schedule and see a doctor/physician. Please, please, please be patient with the staff and receptionist since majority are volunteers and there is only one receptionist happy to help if you speak Spanish or English. And since there is only one receptionist please maintain calm and patient until they are able to help you out. Please be kind and respectful towards the front desk receptionist since they are doing all they can to help you.

Incredibly unprofessional staff. The only good reviews you’ll find here since the pandemic began are from volunteers themselves. The services listed online are inaccurate and they don’t answer their phones. The vast majority of volunteers are only there to fulfill their clinical hours rather than to take a vested interest in the health of the community. If you can go literally ANYWHERE else, do so.

The Free Clinic of Simi Valley is such a great place for everyone to go to!! They offer great medical, legal, and dental care and the staff is amazing!! They do ask for a $30 DONATION but that is only because they need money for the place to run somehow! Lupita, one of the staff, is such an amazing person and she helps out so much!!

Had to update my review. I had such a good experience here but, once AGAIN, they failed to vet me my medication in a timely matter. I’ve been calling them since last Thursday for a simple refill and they are IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. All they did was leave me a message demanding I come in tomorrow, when I’m completely out of medication, don’t have a ride, and in my last visit the doctors said they could just send it over the phone. They don’t seem to care after all.

The staff are the sweetest people in the world. They volunteer their time for FREE to help others and make sure patients get the proper treatment they need to get back to feeling their best. Lupita, the head CMA and who runs the front desk, is an angel and goes above and beyond. The clinic is always very busy, so if it is so on the day of your appointment, please be patient and remember you WILL be taken care of!

I have been using the Free Clinic for almost 10 years. Doctors are wonderful and Lupita is truly the best! Thank you Free Clinic. I dont know what I would do without you!

The people there are awesome. However the clinics relocation destroyed my ability to access it. I missed many appointments because of how far I had to go to get to the clinic. I don't have a car so this complicates things further. Lastly I feel ABANDONED by the mental health department of the clinic. The people there seem to just be doing their time to get to their certifications/degrees/etc. I'm now in crisis because my therapist gave up on me. I feel this person didn't really care about my mental health. Seek out professional mental health services if you are depressed, anxious, or suicidal. God help you if you can't afford it.
