Absolutely terrible!!!!! Dr will see you and if you new patient and God forbid you need help , they will ignore you. Not answering your call, and all you will hear is well we cannot help you , you are a new patient. You don’t have history( although I’ve been going to the same hospital for years) all my records are in their system) if you have better options DO NOT GO THERE especially if you might have life threatening conditions. They don’t care!!!

I have been coming here for years but when I got pregnant it was as though they didn’t care anymore. Every time I needed to speak to my dr they were never available nor did they return my call. So fast forward after my baby, I decided to give them another chance I called to make my apt and they took down my insurance info. I asked if the take my insurance because I obviously didn’t want to waste a trip the female on the phone said she will check and then clicked on me. After no call back, I called the next day and again the female on the phone said I had an apt and that everything should be fine but that she would double check, again got hung up on so I left it alone. The day before my apt they called me to say they didn’t take my insurance. Needless to say I was highly upset because I had requested the day off from work to make my apt. So not only did I lose a day of work I felt as though my time was wasted.

Arrived 15 minutes before my appointment - it took a nurse 30 minutes to see me with no one in the waiting room and an additional 30 minutes before a health care provider tended to me. But wait there’s more! They sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy and I was on hold for over an hour when I called before someone helped me.

The only reason I’m giving. 2 is because the nurses we’re nice. The Dr. Assistant, Patricia Chamul was horrible. I moved to Long Beach and had to look for a Dr office there. But after 3 years in long beach, I really wanted to return to this place because I always had a great experience and most of my health history is there. The moment Chamul walked in she got upset at me for seeing too many doctors in this place. I had to explain that the doctors I would see would leave so I didn’t have a choice. She began to interrogate me and didn’t make me feel welcome at all. Just steer clear from her.

Great customer service from the receptionist to back office to the provider. The office is very efficient and I love that my doctor takes the time to listen to my concerns. Calls me back in a timely manner. I totally recommend her love her dedication

Patricia Chamul is the worst provide. She is rude and doesn't help on your need when You are in pain. She told my father to get a job that suite him instead of helping him. My father has been in so much pain for several months plus the nurse on line gives you excusas and no help at all. She did my father paper for disability wrong and keeps calling the place and all the time has excuces. Y hey keep saying they don't know.

I've been a patient for more than 15 years. I continue to be part of Family Care Specialist medical group because of their caring staff. For example, the receptionist always gives me a friendly greeting, Janette who answers the telephone is knowledgable and always directs me to the right person who can answer my questions. Roxy who is Dr Maldonado's nurse is never to busy to help me, may it be over the phone or in person. My medical care is excellent because of Dr. Daniel Maldonado. He listens and continues to provide me with the best medical care. He's more than a doctor who treats patients, he truly cares for me.

My new doctor that's assigned to me is very helpful. He explains everything well and guides me in the right direction to get myself better. I'm really glad I found him. Doctor Mandenado. The receptionists are very helpful and the Medical Assistants are very kind and knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable and at ease with them. I'm blessed to have found the practice.

Love the doctor and staff. I have never had such a wonderful experience like I have had with doctor Maldonado. He cares and tells you like it is. I love love love my doctor. He will ask anything else concerns you? What other problems do you have. How do you feel. Sometimes I just write it all to remember.

Front desk personnel are friendly and always ask you if information are still up to date. I was seen on a timely manner and Dr. Maldonado was so proactive that the flu shot was administered even if the flu season has not started.

Dr. Edward Castro is an outstanding medical professional. He is very knowledgeable, caring for his patients, and follows up immediately when we have a concern or question regarding the health of my mother. He is a great listener, listens carefully to all the symptoms my mother presents when we visit his office. He is also very thorough when explaining any medical terms or medications. I am 100% satisfied with his professionalism and that he is my mother’s physician. Thank you Doctor Castro!!!

I’m disappointed at the lack of organization and urgency with over the phone appointments. There’s been a few times where I either get a call before the scheduled time or (like right now), I’m still waiting for a phone call with test results an hour later. I don’t understand making an appointment to not meet it, especially when it’s important to the patient. It’s hard to go in person because of the distance and lack of free parking (I refuse to pay for parking at the docs).

Terrible. I had a physical done. I paid out of pocket for lab work. Patricia Chamul said she would call me with results. Never received a call. I looked over my results through the LabCorp site and various were at abnormal levels. This is negligence. I called to see what was going on and they said I'd receive a call. Never did.

Dr Edward Castro has been my doctor and my husbands doctor too For over 20 years and all I can say he is A really good Dr. he always like to be sure We’re following all his orders and appointments he always on top of what ever our medical situation would be… by having the nurses call us or sending us notices thru mail… when ever I leave him a voicemail he always returns the call the same day after 6:00 pm I really recommend Family care specialist…

Great place nice and clean staff is very friendly my doctor nurse is great always asking the extra questions to make sure she covers everything, but my DOCTOR is the best on top of all my ailments maker sure is get the proper care that I get the right medicine .

Family Care Specialists Doctors are amazing. Especially the doctors at White Memorial Medical Center. I Got to my appointment 20 min early and they took me in right away. I talked to a new doctor who will be taking care of me for the next 3 years. She was great, asked me lots of questions and looked into all of my records. Then she diagnose me and prescribed some medication to treat my medical condition. The only bad thing about my visit was that the nurses forgot that I was still there and I waited for an extra 30 min before they came back in the room to dismiss me. I feel that even if the doctors are fast and efficient nurses are often chatting and not focus. They take a bit longer to dismiss patients. As a patient, I medical care is very important but my time is also valuable.

To date, this group has been very responsive to my needs, very accommodating of special circumstances, and organized in quickly placing lab or imaging orders as needed in real time. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that their appointment dept places one on hold for an average of 12-18 minutes as has been my own experience. The Doctors and nursing staff are always professional and have a good sense of humor.

I really like my doctor, Dr. Maldonado. He’s been my doctor for 21 years and he always clarifies my doubts. He is kind, professional and makes me feel better.

My doctor Morodak Meas has looked into getting my providers to take care of my Medical Care . I feel she is concerned about my overall health and will provide the best care I am new to this Office but my daughter has been her patient for 25 years

The Family Care Specialists Medical Group is responsive, understanding of patient's needs, and willing to listen. The doctors, nurses and staff members have been so helpful caring for our 95 year old Uncle. Our family is grateful to have found the right medical group!

My Doctor is Christopher Hiramoura and he is great at what he do, he looks after all my families health, kid wife and myself and he makes sure we have our yearly check ups, meds and make sure he addresses our concerns

I first came here yesterday and saw Dr. Rukia Yosuf. Had to do alot of paperwork of course but when I saw the doctor, she addressed all my issues including getting bloodwork done and getting refills on medications I was taking. She also took the time to do so instead of rushing through. Glad she's my primary doctor now! Can't wait to get on track with my health and well being.

I was able to have a telehealth appointment . The medical personnel listen to my symptoms and concerns. I was very pleased with the visit

The Doctor and her nurse were good,, courteous and respectful. The receptionist was fair, they need to be more professional and not assume that Patients speak Spanish and give mix forms some in English and some in Spanish because of my last name. Personally I like to read what I’m signing.
