Great place for brunch in Huntington! We came here with high expectations after seeing the reviews and we were not disappointed. The food tastes great here. The chicken sandwich was simple but done pretty well. Just the right mix of sweetness and spiciness with the hot honey sauce. Also really liked the half-half fries with regular and sweet potato fries. The Shed sauce was a great complement to both fries. We also tried the Shed bowl which was a good combination of arugula, sweet potato, and topped with shredded chicken. Service was good. Loving the interior decor as well. May be a bit on the pricier side, but would still recommend this place!

Went here for a Saturday brunch. They are quite popular in the area with wait times around 20-30 mins. Great ambience and service. Good food presentation, good quality and taste. Interesting menu options to choose from. We tried their cappuccino, breakfast bowl, and the shedd sandwich. Price depends on the items ordered ranging from decent to expensive.

I love this place and have been a loyal customer for years. Everything is reasonably priced and delicious, great for people of all ages to enjoy a meal. The service is great and it is a busy establishment but they get you seated in a reasonable timely manner.

Update: also tried the Biscuit Benedict. The biscuit was nice, fluffy & buttery. The bacon was cooked perfectly. And the runny egg added creaminess to the plate. This place has an amazing atmosphere with bright natural light coming in. The food taste fresh. The Shegg Sandwich had tomatoe, bacon, cheese, egg, onion jam and arugula. Sounds simple but bursting with flavor. The tomatoes tasted so fresh and the onion jam gave it a unique taste. The home fries were perfectly cooked with some crisp ends. The portions are pretty big too. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcomed.

Farm to table meets rustic chic. The Shed is great for brunch and serves apothecary style cocktails. I ordered the Benedict and my friends had chicken and waffles, the Reuben, and a frittata with turkey bacon on the side. The siracha honey is so flavorful it’s hard not to put it on everything, but it also packs a punch so try it first. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful brunch with friends here. The Bellinis were delicious and highly recommend the avocado toast with sunny eggs. I usually don’t order avo toast when I’m out to eat but the shed’s is SO GOOD. Service was great, and the AC was perfect for the hot humid day. Will be back!

Great restauran, great food, stuff very kind. Only downside is that You can’t get reservations over the phone, and when you coming you have to wait 40-50minutes for the table. We drove from Brooklyn (1hr) to the restaurant, would be nice to get reservation over phone.

The Shed is an extremely popular modern, american restaurant. I was very excited to try it given the positive reviews I had heard from friends and when I first arrived the place was absolutely packed with a long wait. We ended up sitting at the bar to eat. I ordered fried pickle chips and the blackened fish sandwich. I was incredibly underwhelmed with the fried pickle chips. Overall, they tasted good given they were fried and salty. But nothing in particular stood out about them. They needed a more flavorful seasoning, instead of relying on the dipping sauce to deliver the flavor. The blackened fish sandwich was just not good. I LOVE fish and I couldnt even finish this sandwich. It was bordering on burnt (blackened does not mean burnt!!) and again was lacking in flavor. The bun was much too thick for this sandwich as well.

This is a nice little brunch spot in Huntington, Long Island. The location was very cute and lively which is always wonderful during brunch. The prices are honestly a bit inflated but I think it’s worth to visit. The service was a bit lacking and tipping right in front of the waitresses was a bit awkward but I’m sure it was due to the business of the restaurant. The food tasted great, but was also very heavy for a brunch so take it as you wish!

We were lucky to walk in at 11am and got a table(inside) on Memorial Day. We were greeted and accommodated right away. Our server was cheerful and welcoming. Made us feel good. We ordered our tea and coffee and love that they use La Colombe teabags. We ordered the Farmer's breakfast, chicken and waffle, a spinach tomato cheese omlette and a side of spinach. My Farmer's Breakfast was perfectly done with dressed green. Everything complemented each other well. The steak was done med rare and it was juicy. The chicken waffle is their special. Can't go wrong. We prefer The Huntington Shed over the Plainview location. The food is better. Both location has wonderful staff.

Loved this spot for a last minute brunch on Saturday! The atmosphere is bright, young and happening! We only had about a 15 minute wait for our table of three. The restaurant was bustling and yet the sound level was perfect for a relaxed conversation. Service was great and our food was delicious and timely! Will 100% be coming back next time I’m in the area!

The Shed in Huntington is my favorite of the Shed’s. Dog Friendly outside seating, staff is wonderful (you can tell they are like family and treat their customers the same). Food was delicious and great value for it. Definitely great for Sunday Brunch, but expect a little wait because it is so good.

Absolutely love this place. We sat at the bar, one of my favorite places to eat lunch in a busy restaurant. The staff and management were super friendly and on-top of business, sadly a rarity in these post-pandemic times. The Bloody Mary was a meal in itself, lol. You should definitely check this place out if you are in the area.

Very busy brunch place. Was highly recommended from a friend. Went around 12pm for two. Some what of a line and like a 20 minute wait. Ordered chicken and waffles and a smoked burger with and order of shed fries. A bloody Mary and one of the watermelon cocktails. Very delicious.

Finally made my way here after having it saved as a place I wanted to visit. I was certainly not disappointed. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the service was fantastic. Will absolutely be returning, next time maybe for a boozy brunch without the grandparents 😂

Omg so delicious! I always love a good eggs Benedict but these were maybe the best I’ve ever had! Prices are good, and the setup is super nice. Staff is great, food was great, and location is great! Always see a line here and I know why

Went for brunch on Sunday afternoon. The wait was about 10 minutes. Our waitress Emma was fantastic and friendly. Our drinks and food came out pretty quickly and it was delicious. I ordered Prosecco to drink and it was great. The chicken and waffles were amazing. Would love to return and try something else from the menu.

I came to this Shed before also trying the other Shed in Sayvile, and they are both equally good! I absolutely loved this place! The Shed Bowl was delicious!! I have not had a salad taste as good as this one and I am 100% going back to try more food! Also the shrimp was literally cooked to perfection?!?!? Never before has a shrimp been this well cooked in all of my restaurant going experience.

Brunch all day! Now that is something you don't see every day. I stopped here for lunch and actually did wind up venturing to the brunch menu. Many comfort food choices. If you want sweet or savory or both - this is the restaurant for you. I tried the Breakfast Bowl - 2 poached eggs, avocado, homefries, spinach, onion, corn, jalapeño, chipotle hollandaise . Every bit of it was scrumptious. The spinach was so fresh! I also had my staple beer choice, Allagash. It goes great with any dish.

Love this place! They have great food, great music and they're very nice. I've been here once for brunch and a bunch of times for lunch/dinner and the food is always amazing. Good prices too

We ordered the short rib sandwich, and omelette with home fries. For the drinks wife had a mocktail sangria and I had the iced tea. Overall the food was good. My short rib sandwich was the best, soft short ribs in sandwich, definitely recommended. My wife liked her eggs with the home fries. Had a side of avocado for the baby. Service was good, waited 30 minutes. The people were accommodating to the baby with a high chair, and also were friendly to the baby. Food plus service. I would highly recommend.

I order two BLT’s picked them up came home and the bacon was burnt to a crisp! The amount of money people charge for food and I get burnt bacon where if I bit into it I would’ve been at the dentist the next day! The manager told me sorry sir we ruined your dinner but now you can starve. Only good thing about this whole situation they refunded back my money. Never again will I order out from the Shed.

Awesome place to get some brunch, I came here for the first time and was surprised how busy it could get within an hour of opening . Told our waitress about a birthday and she was able to bring out something special for all of us to share ,waffle and ice cream. The breakfast bowl was a nice surprise as it sounded simple ,but they made it just right and fills you up. We had a party of 6 and other establishments would have a few for a big party but they didn't seem to put that on the bill. The cocktails were nice and not like a typical brunch with mimosas.

A server was very friendly but the food wasn’t good. French toast was dry and the chicken on the salad was also very dry. $8 for fries and $7 for coffee? I just ordered iced decaf coffee because it was already 1:30pm but she gave me a regular cold brew coffee so I couldn’t sleep until 5am and had to wake up at 7am to go to work. Very pricy but not professional generally.

My girlfriend and I went for our 4 year anniversary. The staff was incredible. They were all so friendly and helpful! I got the chicken sandwich and didn't realize it would be spicy, and they eagerly helped me fix it. They also took a great picture of us and prepared our dessert special to celebrate our anniversary. This staff is so sweet. 5/5 would recommend

We came here for brunch and despite the wait it was totally worth it. The ambiance was really nice, a combination of modern and rustic. The food tasted very good. I got the pancakes and french fries. Both were very good. Usually pancakes can be too sweet but the pancakes at The Shed were perfect. The french fries were crispy and well seasoned. I also got a cup of coffee and they made a cute rabbit picture on it which was a nice surprise. The service was a little slow but considering they were busy and short staffed, it made sense.

Our second time here for brunch and we'll definitely be back. The food is fresh and delicious with large portion sizes. Beautiful outdoor patio and a smaller upper level dining deck. My husband's Avocado Toast with Sunny Eggs (smashed avocado with thin slices of watermelon radish, watercress, and 2 fried eggs) was freshly prepared... the best avocado toast I've ever had. I even love the English breakfast tea here. My egg white omelet with mushrooms, onions, spinach and cheese was huge and filling. No canned mushrooms here! The one slight disappointment was the breakfast potatoes. They weren't as crisp on the outside as they were the first time we went about three weeks ago. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars!

UPDATE: We went again a second time today, a week after our first visit because we've been craving it all week. This time was just as great as the first, but we arrived early before they opened so we could get an outdoor seat. They opened up right at 11am and we were the first to be seated (<ended up being cold so came inside anyway. The waiter was extremely understanding.) Our super efficient and friendly server (a male in his twenties, forget his name) was quick to get us everything we needed. The food was amazing once again and the place got really busy within 15 minutes of opening up. We will definitely go back again and again. Next time we'll have to try some new meals and cocktails, but we defaulted to the same entrees and drinks this time (except we tried the crafted lemonade instead of cranberry juice) because we loved everything so much last time! Original review follows: Went here for the first time on the first day of a school break, and it was very crowded but they got us seated right away and service was fast and friendly. The food was amazing and the cocktail menu was a lot of fun. We ended up just getting a standard bloody Mary, but would love to try some of the other cocktails next time. And there WILL be a next time because the food was delicious: we tried the pancakes with fresh mixed berries, Belgian waffle with berries, and an egg white omelette with red peppers, spinach, and turkey bacon (you can choose any three ingredients) with a side of dressed arugula. The omelette was huge and I had to take half home. We also had leftover pancakes and part of the waffle. Delicious meal and fairly reasonable prices other than the cranberry juice which was very small and $5 a glass. We will definitely be back...I can taste that omelette now!!!

Our favorite brunch place on Long Island. The biscuits are so good I often get extra for takeaway. The chicken and waffles are excellent and the jalapeno honey for dipping is killer. Nice vibe at both inside and outside tables and the staff is always attentive.

Went here for brunch. The food was amazing! Good portions. Affordable and the interior is so nice! I got the Farmer’s breakfast. Steak and eggs were cooked perfectly. Kristen was fantastic. Great service. Very attentive and great attitude/energy. Would definitely come back here

Came on a Saturday night, wait was an hour, we walked around and then they called us to say table was ready. Tight inside but food was delicious, the chicken and Waffles were great but watch for the syrup they give you, so spicy! Food and drinks were good. Server was friendly and good service.

  • 5/5 Dennis L. 1 year ago on Google
This is a great spot! They are busy and sometimes may have a wait time during lunch hours but if you manage to get in, it is well worth it. The waiters and waitresses are super friendly and attentive. Not the aggressive attentive kind but the perfect combination of giving-you-space to enjoy while still being around to meet your needs. They didn't rush us even though there were people waiting at the door. The food is amazing and the selection were plenty. There are plenty of photos that do this place justice, mine included. Definitely recommend!
