Unfortunately
I
cannot
recommend
this
hospital
to
others.
I
suffered
a
puncture
wound,
came
into
the
hospital
unable
to
put
weight
on
my
foot
and
their
treatment
consisted
of
giving
me
a
tetanus
shot
(at
my
request),
dipping
my
foot
in
saline,
gluing
the
wound
to
seal
it,
and
putting
a
band-aid
on
the
wound.
They
didn’t
examine
my
foot
the
way
I
would
expect
anyone
in
the
field
of
medicine
would.
They
didn’t
poke
around
and
ask
if
any
other
parts
of
my
foot
hurt
either.
I
asked
if
I
had
to
worry
about
any
muscle
damage
or
infection,
they
said
the
wound
was
superficial
and
sent
me
off.
The
next
day,
I
went
to
see
a
specialist,
the
podiatrist
took
one
look
at
my
foot
and
saw
it
was
infected,
he
took
X-rays
and
agreed
no
structural
damage
but
he
was
bewildered
by
the
hospitals
diagnosis
as
“superficial”
and
the
treatment
to
glue
the
wound
as
this
was
precluding
the
wound
from
draining.
Long
story
short,
had
I
not
seen
a
specialist
or
not
been
able
to
afford
to
see
a
specialist
it’s
very
possible
this
could
have
been
a
much
graver
situation-
infections
are
no
joke.
I
did
follow
up
with
the
hospital
and
speak
with
their
patient
outreach
but
in
the
end,
I
received
a
certified
letter
that
stated
they
treated
the
wound
properly
as
per
their
diagnosis.
Interesting.
I
am
giving
an
extra
star
for
how
pleasant
the
staff
and
doctors
are
here,
the
cleanliness,
the
speed
of
service,
and
the
hospital
amenities
(TV
in
rooms,
etc)…
but
alas,
these
are
not
reasons
why
one
should
visit
a
hospital.
