This is truly a special and remarkable place. From the first day even touring the space, the staff and doorman have been very welcoming, friendly, courteous and professional. It is truly one of the most rewarding experiences, getting to interact in this building with them on top of the amazing amenities, views, and overall luxurious space offered at 1 South First St. On my move-in day I will never forget it, I walked into the entrance and was greeted with a heartfelt “Welcome Home Justin!” That truly made me feel so appreciated and welcomed into the community. Everyone speaks to one another when passing, there are many adorable dogs, an amazing scent that looms through the building, and so much more that makes this place unique. Staff members really go outside their way for you here and posses a truly genuine attitude of concern when assisting and speaking with guests and residents. Even my walk throw tour once I signed my lease was exceptional. I was shown all amenities and breakdowns about things like the rooftop access, Club Level and Pool access which includes a TV room, pool table, a quiet study, community kitchen, conference room space, outside grilling stations, and a full 24- Hour gym with exercising classes. I am truly blessed to have found such a place and to be afforded the opportunity to call this superior serviced paradise home. They really don’t understand how much of an impact the staff makes in regards to resident assistance and property management. My old community was horrible as the staff wasn’t readily available and service orders took months to complete and no one ever made me feel as valued as 1 South 1st has made me feel. I’ve experienced the brutal experience of being attacked and stabbed by knife by a visitor in my home this past Thanksgiving , and as a result I am much more careful of where I choose to live, whom I invite into my home , and aware of my surroundings. I feel much safer here and like I have the correct support in an emergency situation. Thank you to the staff and management for your dedication, level of service, and the sincere approach in regards to your work. It is unmatched

We feel extremely lucky to be part of this community. Management is doing a great job, all staff are real professionals and are always very helpful and kind. Beautiful building with great amenities. It is located right at the waterfront in Domino Park with lots of nice restaurants close-by. The North Williamsburg ferry is just 5 minutes away which makes the commute to Manhattan very easy and fun. Plus you cannot compete with this view! 🤩Best in the neighborhood! 🌇🧡

This building is absolutely amazing! The management is simply very professional and friendly and we truly appreciate all of them! Besides the fact that I love the architects who designed this building (trust me, I’m an architect!) I love the beautiful finishes and the unbelievable amenities! The shared working space is a super plus with incredible views, couches and great meeting rooms! The community is great and we are meeting amazing people! We love to be part of the 1S1 family!!!

Beautiful building with the best amenities in Wburg. Apartments have top-notch appliances and finishings and are bigger than the ones in similar buildings as well; the rooms are spacious and we actually have a king size bed in our bedroom! We love the gorgeous coworking space, the gym with free classes, the rooftop pool with bridge views - and even the dog washing room! There are free events like comedy and cocktail nights. Everything you need is here, but if for some reason you do need to leave, there's a free shuttle to the trains :)

What differentiates One South First from other buildings is the incredible sense of community. There are so many wonderful people, families with children, and dogs of all shapes and sizes! We are all supported by a wonderful management team who work tirelessly to keep our building clean, safe, and fun for all. From the initial leasing process, to the smiles we receive from our door-people, to our super and support staff - they all create a wonderful experience for everyone. As a foreigner living in New York for ten years, I never felt any apartment was truly home until I moved into moved into One South First. If you work from home, the communal areas in One South First are amazing. The amount of times people thought the lounge background was a virtual background speaks to the overall design and aesthetic they created. Regarding the apartments, the floor to ceiling windows surrounding us ensures we always have brightly lit rooms, and amazing sunsets. The marble finishings in the kitchen are high quality, as are the Bosch appliances (dishwasher, fridge, washer and dryer). The gym and yoga studio are fully equipped, and there are Peloton and Les Mills bikes available. Finally, the 40 seat cinema in the basements makes for excellent viewings of sports events, and management frequently throw celebrations with drinks, thematic food stands and decoration. This is the best apartment building in Brooklyn.

The building itself is stunning, boasting fantastic amenities. The working area and the gym are amazing. The location is perfect; the ferry is a mere 5-minute walk away, providing a convenient and enjoyable commute to Manhattan. The subway is 15 minutes walking from the building but if you don't like to walk you can take the building bus right in front of 1S1 you will be there in less than 5 minutes. The management team has been exceptional, and all the staff members are professionals, consistently offering their assistance with kindness.

I have truly found a home here at 1 S 1st. The management team, the doormen/women, the building Super, Danny, and the cleaning staff, are exceptional, knowledgeable, kind, and always gracious in giving their time and attention to the residents and the building. A year on from moving in and could not be happier with my experience as a resident. The other residents are also wonderful and there is a good sense of community in the building. On days that I work from home, I take pleasure in bumping into different residents and members of staff on the club level in the common workspace. Equally enjoyable to walking out to the pool deck to sit and watch the river traffic or the sunrise with a latte or the sunset with cocktail. The views, the amenities, and the people are all stunning. Highly recommend considering the building in if you’re looking for a premier luxury building in New York. Commutes to Manhattan are easy by ferry or train as is access to LaGuardia airport. You are also in the heart of Williamsburg and an easy 10 minute walk from anything you might want to do. Come visit!

We have lived here for over a year and absolutely love it. All of the amenities are great, but the community is what seals it. 1S1 is home. Community Not only does management execute with timing, precision, and generosity, but also by creating a community unlike any building in which I have previously lived. Gym Most building gyms leave a lot to be desired, but not 1S1. This is a real gym - aerobics/yoga studio, locker rooms, rubber coated hex dumbbells to 100lbs, actual squat rack, actual bench press, olympic bars, 6 treadmills, Peloton, and more. Lots of space and even more energy. Whether sunrise or sunset, the feeling is electric to wrap up a workout while peering through 12-14 ft floor to ceiling windows with 180 degree views of the greatest city in the world. In conclusion, living here is an absolute joy.

1S1 sets the gold standard for living in NYC. The amenities, the views, the architecture – there's nothing quite like the quality of 1S1. But what makes 1S1 truly special is the community this building has managed to create. The staff (Danny, Elijah, Hector, Jurgen, Jeremy, Kenny and everyone else) are the warmest, most welcoming people and make this place feel like home to their residents. We're so thankful for living in 1S1!
