We were on the way to Pigeon Forge and saw this restaurant close by the I75 north. We wanted to eat something different and this was the perfect spot to give it a try. The staff is super friendly and their customer service is amazing. Very cleaned and comfortable dining area including outdoor sitting as well. Food was great, I got the humus and calamari for appetizer. The lamb chops were tasty and juicy, the lemon chicken was ok. Finally I got the baklava for dessert and it was good, not dry not too sponge. The owner came by the table and asked if everything was right. This is an evidence that they do care about customer experience. First time here and I’ll recommend it if you’re in the area.

Some of the best Greek food this side of the Mediterranean! They have a full vegan menu. The Vegetable Lemon Pasta with kalamata olives, asparagus, tomatoes, basil, roasted garlic, mushrooms, lemon juice, olive oil over angel hair pasta is simply crave-able. You have your choice of salad or lentil soup. Get the lentil soup! It's worth going back for alone! The Signature Greek is fantastic as is the Souther Pecan - both can come as a dinner salad with a bowl of the fabulous Lentil Soup! The only bread there that is vegan is the Wheat Bread, and you can ask for olive oil, cracked pepper and salt on the side to dip it in - so good we go this route every time!

I had recently decided to eat more of a vegetarian diet and saw that they had a lot of choices on their menu. The restaurant was clean and simple but felt fancy at the same time. We had a great server that helped explain a few dishes and kept our drinks filled. There were so many entrées I wanted to try so I will definitely be back. Everyone in our party of 7 loved their food. Everything tasted soo good!

This is our mediterranean goto place . We love the baked potato and minestrone soup. The Lamb chops are a little undercooked and rubberry for our taste but the Lemon Chicken is delicious. Dont miss out their amazing spread of desserts on your way out , they are soooo irresistably yummy !! 😊😊😊

Very clean. Food was very fresh. Service was above average. Desserts were awesome. We had a variety of items from the menu and all were excellent. Kids meals were $6 and included drinks.

Known for their wide variety of Mediterranean foods, the Acropolis Grill is a favorite of many who love near here. They have a lot of options for people who like a lot of different types of high quality foods. The restaurant is very clean and the employees are helpful as well. Tip: try ordering something different each time to try a variety of things.

Had dinner delivered from Acropolis. The pasta, salad and spinanch dip was delicious. I also ordered a tray of baklava but was disappointed. It was extremely soggy, had a weird taste and the pecan to dough ratio was completely off. I have been eating Mrs. Betty's Baklava since I was a little girl when they had little Athens restaurant and this was not it. The individual baklava is still divine but the tray was terrible. I recommend Acropolis to everyone so please put quality into the baklava trays as well.

You have to try the Greek Eggrolls! I would come here just to get them for a snack. They are SO good. The Greek salad is okay. The chicken lemon soup is okay. The service was great. My child said the fish and chips (fries) were good from the children's menu. I love Greek food. I will have to branch out more on their menu, the next time I go, so I can tell you more.

We stopped by here before a concert because the reviews were decent. I’m so happy we did! I had the eggplant napoleon, my husband had the lamb burger, our friend had chicken kebabs, and we ordered the saganaki. It was all sooooo delicious. I haven’t had eggplant like that before, and I’m so taken with this dish! I would definitely go back. I’m bummed we don’t live closer so I can’t visit often and try their other dishes.

We decided to eat lunch here, and what a treat. We hadn't been in a while and chose to go here. We remember when the restaurant was called Little Athens. We ate there a lot. Lots of good memories. We were greeted and quickly seated. Our hostess was very nice. Our food was great. This was a great decision visit here. Thank you.

I recently came back after living out of state for 8 years and had hoped the Acropolis Grill was just as good as it used to be. I was not disappointed. It was delicious. Everything we ordered was outstanding, especially the Greek egg rolls. The atmosphere was great, and we had an extremely enjoyable meal. I highly recommend the Acropolis Grill!

I am visiting from Houston and this is hands down the absolute best Mediterranean food I have ever had the pleasure of eating. We have some wonderful food in Houston so it takes something amazing to top it. I ordered the Saganaki appetizer with bread- both delicious. OPAH! And one of their specials the pecan crusted North Carolina trout. Also amazing. Perfect topping of sweet tomato and bacon. Margarita on the rocks- perfect. And to go a slice of the spice cake. The wait staff was attentive, professional and pleasant. Two other waitresses checked on me each time they passed by even though the young man waiting on me was doing a great job. And the owner stopped by 3 times. I was pleased to see that she made sure every guest was taken care of. She even cleaned up a little drizzle that got on the floor. I’m sure her team respects that she doesn’t see anything as “not her job”. Can’t wait to bring my adult children here to eat when we visit again in a few months. Thank you for the experience.

My experience at Acropolis Grill was unforgettable! I ordered the vegetable lemon pasta with the southern pecan salad. The salad was amazing! I told my friend (who had wanted to go to O'charley's) "This is wayy better than O'charley's!" Then the entree came out. It was gorgeous! As soon as the first bite graced my lips I knew if I am ever in the area again, I will be back! The flavors danced in my mouth and I couldn't help but exclaim, "Mmmmm!" I am pescatarian so I ordered it with the shrimp and scallops. Being from the coast, I know it is VERY easy to overcook shrimp. The shrimp was cooked to perfection! This was easily, if not THE, one of the best meals I have had in my whole life! The baklava was also amazing! Hats off to the chef! Service was good too! Friendly people!

Very nice restaurant. We didn't enjoy our food. The gyro wrap was dry . The chicken Souclaki sandwich was overcooked and falling apart. We asked for a remake but was told the kitchen was kitchen was closed.

Good place. Good food, great service and atmosphere. I'd suggest a little bit less cheese on the lemon chicken and Cajun pasta. Other than that, it's great.

We went there for a dinner . The menu is great! A lots of choices and all are good looking ... I had indecision on what to get ... After food was not maybe as good as I was expecting .... but at least fine good taste anyway nothing to complain. Good place to go and to comeback

A great recommendation by local hotel staff! Service was friendly and fast (Paula was very attentive, even with a busy section). The gyro egg rolls and lamp lollipops were both delicious and very filling for a solo diner!

Consistently great service, and a menu that offers traditional Greek dishes as well as American dishes. We always get an order of the Saganaki (delicious fried cheese flamed tableside), and the Moussaka and Pastitsio are perfection. Unfortunately, many dishes are served overly salted, so if you are limiting your sodium intake, ask if your dishes can be prepared with less salt during preparation and cooking. The fried cod served with the Fish & Chips was so salty that it was nearly inedible; same for the gyro meat. Their desserts looked tempting, but we were too full to indulge.

  • 3/5 Elizavetta M. 2 years ago on Google
Food was ok. More like Greek fusion. My salad was mostly the iceberg heart and the tzatziki was soupy with no cucumber taste, even though it was full of cucumber skins. I had to order a special plate because they didn't have traditional chicken souvlaki plate, so I paid extra. I asked for no onions or tomatoes and NO tomato slaw or whatever they call it, and they still added all of it. The souvlaki was very good though, after I picked off the extra stuff. Great flavor and texture. We didn't get pita bread or tzatziki while we waited for our food, but white and wheat bread slices and whipped butter and cinnamon butter 😂🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ If not for their absolutely amazing baklava, I would probably give them 1 or 2 stars. I would not come here looking for Greek food. The olive branch and portofino's in east ridge is so much better, except for the baklava.

We ordered Pastitsio and vegetable lemon pasta with shrimp/scallops. My hubby loves food and only had a few times of Pastitsio only, which very rarely happens to him. The pasta was refreshing taste with angel hair pasta. Unique taste but yummy. Mine was different style from the photo of Google reviewer ; no skewer for shrimp/scallops. I heard that their plating used to be better. They have a variety of dessert menu. I liked their salad best among we ordered. They have a vegetarian menu as well.

My husband and I had never been to Acropolis but had always heard great things. I picked them for my birthday meal and we got it to go. I cannot say this enough....BEST MEAL OF MY LIFE!!! Why have we never been here before. We got 2 app and both were outstanding. Both our meals were excellent! The bread fantastic! I just can't say it enough how great everything was. The take out area was set up perfectly in the bakery. So, this is our new favorite restaurant and we are going back next weekend 🙂

Ordered a variety of food. I was excited with the vegetarian options. I ordered the Farmers Pie. While nothing about it was bad, nothing was outstanding either. It tasted a little bland even with the dipping sauces. Prices are reasonable and they give healthy portion sizes.

Absolutely outstanding food and service! What a gem in Chattanooga! GF is easy. Excellent service. Family loved the Greek Lemon Pasta. Chicken Kabobs are delicious. Salad is tasty. Took a dessert back to the hotel! Thank you! Definitely consider this lovely location if traveling or visiting! We don't drink, but as a Kentuckian, this bourbon menu is IMPRESSIVE!

Everything at Acropolis was incredible! The twin filet, cooked medium, was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, piled with onions atop, smoky-flavored grilled asparagus, and perfect mashed potatoes. The fried zucchini was perfectly crisp and the accompanying dip added another layer to the flavor profile of this app. The kids menu cheese pizza and chicken tenders with fries were a hit with my 4 year old twins. The strawberry cake was moist and flavorful with real 🍓 in the layers. Make a reservation and go!

Acropolis is an excellent place for traditional Greek as well as some non-traditional dishes. They have some unique items and everything we’ve had has been delicious. You can’t go wrong with entree items or their massive selection of desserts!

The Heritage Pork chop is one of the best dishes I've ate out and I am not a huge reviewer but this meal definitely warrants it... The apple comes through in an amazing way... The sauce literally tastes like a fresh apple! The asparagus wrapped in bacon is an unexpected delight and was great but the mashed potatoes are the very best I have ate at any restaurant. We frequent this restaurant often and I have always praised their mashed potatoes. The Southern Pecan salad is another especially good dish and it comes with your meal. I seriously wished I had taken a picture of my entree because it was just something I was not expecting. Like I said, we have frequented this establishment many times and the meals are always fresh and wonderful but if you have the opportunity, stop in and I promise you won't be sorry. Oh and don't forget the desserts... I really LOVE the heath bar cake and my Wife gets the Napoleon, both are our favorites... When you enter, the bakery is in the front and has tons of great cakes and pies so like I said, stop in and get treated to some wonderful food and desserts.. It's always a good treat!

The Baklava is light on the honey syrup, too salty and spiced too much. The pastitsio and moukassa are amazing. The gyro meat resembles the frozen stuff instead of off a vertical rotisserie. The Tzaziki is good. Will happily dine with again, while avoiding the Gyro and the Baklava.

I’ve been here several times before and the food is a solid average. However, I am here with my significant other (since I will not see her on Valentine’s Day) an hour before their posted closing time and we are quickly ran out the store because their “kitchen staff has left and only dishwashers are left.” Extremely upset and I’m sure you would be too if you were in my shoes... do not support this. Avoid if you know a better place...

Went a week ago to do some shopping in Chattanooga. When it got to dinner time, we were looking for something fresh and different, saw there was a Greek restaurant. So excited! We tried it, and was impressed by the food, service, and cleanliness of this awesome establishment. We like it SO much that we came back again. You walk in to a wonderful bakery counter which is So tempting. But alas, we were trying to be good! Needless to say, the menu MADE us order way too much, so both times we never got to the dessert. My husband loved the Greek salad. I had a salad with grilled chicken, cranberries and candied pecans. We ordered 2 appetizers (calamari and fried zucchini). Both were delicious, except the calamari is normally served with a savory bright red tomato sauce or a spicy red sauce. The sauce they served was more like a tomato soup, with not enough zip. Not my favorite. One of the soups of the day was a creamy lemon soup, which was warm and delightful on this cool winter's day. I will be back! Maybe next time I'll have some room to get the dessert... but probably not - everything else is too good to pass up!
