This is my favorite Turkish restaurant in New Jersey and one the best of tri-state area. Food here is incredibly delicious, flavorful and served nicely. Customer service is outstanding. We've been here many times and never were disappointed or regret why we came. The only we regret coming because of no seats were available, all tables were occupied, that's how busy and popular they are. Meat is Halal. They offer take out. Highly recommend. I will be coming again and again whenever I can. Well done, Yakamoz Team! Wishing your business always to thrive more and more!

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD QUALITY. They are money hungry and liars too!!! We never finished any of the food we ordered and threw it out at home!!! This disgusting food is not worth anything and another customer complained the same thing I said so who should the people believe now?! My mom ordered this chicken kebab plate today at this place, she told me it tasted very weird. I took a bite out of this “chicken” and it was full of oils, tasted rancid and very fatty, it had nothing to do with chicken, it was disgusting, even the color and shape is almost clear and just masked with seasoning. The whole meal is supposed to come with three sides but they only provided two (salad and old rice). Overall the meal did not taste fresh with bad quality and quantity. When we let them know that it was not good, they said that they can’t do anything about it and didn’t offer any help to change it. Mind you, these places tend to be a bit on the expensive side comparing to the amount of food you receive due to supposedly having “better” meat quality, so you end up paying for bad food and service which is awful because they don’t care about you even enjoying!!!They did not seem to care about the customer’s needs or concerns and they had a very negative energy when we walked in. They think that they are back home where the customer’s opinion does not matter and force you to eat what they serve. I left the pictures so people can judge what they present to their customers. I ended up ordering two lahmacun for my mom to eat instead of her plate and at the end we had no appetite so we packed everything to go (I was not about to leave the chicken kebab I paid for so they serve it to another customer). Other customers commented the same thing but they don't care as long as they scam people for their money. Their food gave us stomach pain, god knows what they did to it!!

Today, my family and I went to Yakamoz, a cozy family restaurant with traditional Turkish cuisine. My favorite was lamb Adana Kebab and kids loved chicken wrap. Definitely recommend it to you.

Amazing Adana! What a treat! Very pleased. Great service. Very clean and nice dining area. We tried Adana, organic made ayran, kazandibi dessert, Iskender. All of them were beyond delicious. Their Turkish tea was ‘the cherry on top of the cake’. Highly recommend if you are visiting NJ.

Iskender was absolutely the best I’ve had in a good while. It deserves a 5 star. “Sac kavurma” wasn’t as good as the iskender. Staff was friendly, place was packed on a weekend night.

Great appetizers...the lamb meat soup(apologies for not remembering the name)...the Turkish pizza Lhmacun and Bicak Arasi were exceptionally good Entrees were below average, tasted bland and the sides consisting of rice and couscous were served cold. We took 3 different entrees including mixed platter, kofta platter and lamb chops all of which were disappointing in comparison to the appetizers. The portion size was decent and do not forget to ask for white sauce. That would help enhance the taste of the kebabs.

Beytu kabab was delicious, but we had to wait for 50 minutes for it to come. The inside was very cold and they weren’t turning the heat on. They should hire more workers for the weekends because the workers could not handle it.

We were there today and ordered a mixed grill platter. The gentleman mentioned that it was enough for two people. Sorry to say there wasn’t even enough for one person to be satisfied. There were no condiments offered. Food was very dry and bland. I had to make my own shepherd salad at home to give the meal some abundance. Not returning here.

The food is very well made and the service is high quality. This restaurant is a comfort place for my family and I. The environment is always calming, with the piano music and the nature scenes on the TV. You can physically see the elders cooking from the kitchen; the meals are always tasty and have never disappointed us for the past 5 years. The waitress was very kind and accommodating to us today! I would totally recommend to anyone who is either Turkish (the meals taste are matchable to home cooked food!) or wants to give Turkish cuisine a try! ((The chicken soup, as recommended by the waitress and me, is a must try)).

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Server are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend home style food to anyone looking for somewhere to eat.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Nestled in the heart of Paterson, NJ, this Turkish restaurant is a culinary treasure. From the moment I walked in, I felt the warmth and hospitality that Turkish culture is renowned for, even though I was miles away from Turkey itself. The menu was a delightful exploration of Turkish cuisine. The the mixed grill was a testament to the chef’s expertise in blending spices and cooking techniques. But it wasn’t just the food that stood out. The staff at this establishment went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Their recommendations were spot on, and their knowledge about each dish added depth to the meal. For those in Paterson or even passing through, this Turkish restaurant is a must-visit. It’s a delightful culinary journey that brings the essence of Turkey to New Jersey. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Cozy Turkish/Mediterranean restaurant with the best known for its soups and meat! Food is always on point and can never go wrong here. Price is decent for the amount of food you get and lots of options to choose from that will fill whatever you are craving. Service can be improved, other than that always a favorite whenever I am in the area
