The Best Turkish restaurant in New Jersey. They have great food from Turkish cuisine. Mezzes, kebabs, Albanian Liver, the service, and the staff is flawless. I almost come here each week, tasting The best Turkish food around. An experienced and talented owner operates them. Sometimes on Saturday nights, they organize Turkish music nights with a fix menu. If you want to see a Turkish fun and dance night, reserve a table for one weekend. They have seasonal food; ask them what they have fresh in the season you visit. Also, Don’t forget to follow their Instagram account @cinarnj for the events and see how they prepare their delicious recipes.

I came to this restaurant with a friend of mine living in NJ. To start with, this was one of the worst services experiences that I have had recently. No one has greeted/hosted us when we entered into the restaurant. After we got our own seats, no waiter showed up to bring water or take our orders for 15 minutes. After finally getting our food, no one checked on us and asked if everything was okay. I left the table completely thirsty after eating a very salty stuffed pepper. In addition, the restaurant must find a solution for the door that does not close.

Delicious! Food was delicious, piping hot and flavorful. A crowd favorite w the local Turks ! I had my very energetic toddler with me and our waiter was extremely polite and even played with her and made her laugh. All of the staff was very friendly . They have outdoor seating in the warmer weather and street /metered parking .

Awesome food, hidden gem in CP. I was pleasantly surprised to find this local Turkish spot with my bf. We had lunch on a Sunday and it was very busy. We were able to get outdoor seating. The service was on the slower side given it was Sunday afternoon but our server was friendly and gave us good recommendations. We tried a couple of apps starting with the calf liver, spicy cod dip, and garlic leek dip. So delicious. We also had the chicken and lamb shwarma to share. We were stuffed and even took leftovers home. Also byob! Will definitely be back!

My husband and I have been to this restaurant on multiple occasions. They never disappoint. The food is always fresh and delicious. I wanted to leave a review today because a couple weekends ago, we went with a large group of 15 and the service was phenomenal. Our server was on point from start to finish. Thank you again for making our experience a great one!

We had an amazing time having a delicious Turkish breakfast at Cinar. We’d like to thank our waiter Ali. He greeted us warmly, and the service was excellent. The restaurant is located conveniently, and we’d love to come back to try the lunch menu.

I can across this place on Uber Eats and the food is absolutely amazing. We got the kebab platter and a side of humus. It was well packed and the portions are enough for 3 people or 2 if you are really hungry. The platter included 2 kinds of lamb and chicken with rice and a salad. All the meats were tender and flavorful. The humus was very clean and the texture was just right. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

We had a great experience at the restaurant today. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff was very accommodating, especially with our baby. We got the mixed grill, falafel, and Shepard salad, which were all perfect. We would like to express our gratitude to Eylul for her exceptional service. She was attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We look forward to returning soon!

First time trying Turkish food. It was amazing. I will definitely come again. The food was great - the chicken was tender and delicious. The Hummus and bread tasted very good. I tried the Turkish soda (gazoz) orange flavor and I'm obsessed. The staff was attentive and friendly. Dessert was amazing, I'm not sure how to spell it but it's with a K.

The guys who served us was soo nice. His name is Orhan. Thank you for serving us. Place was okay. You can have fun with Turkish Mediterranean cuisine. Some appetizers not soo good. Tarama, Armanien Beans, Babaganush and livers not good as I expected. The need to do better than now. Other courses was good. Come the place, call Orhan and have fun.

I had a wonderful time here with family. The staff greeted us and were very professional and kind. The service was amazing, if I could give 10 stars, I would just on the customer service alone. The food was delicious, i had the lamb meatballs with white rice, the lamb was so juicy and cut so smoothly, the rice was cooked just right. The turkish coffee was so rich and smooth, combined with the super tasty baklava, made the perfect dessert. Towards the end of our meal, the staff played happy birthday over the intercom and all the staff came together to wish me a happy birthday! I felt apart of their family! I absolutely loved my experience here and highly recommend anyone to come eat and enjoy the wonderful food and superb customer service at Cinar Turkish Restaurant 1. Such a beautiful environment, Masha Allah !

The food here is amazing!! Tried the Sigara Borek and Kibbeh Balls/Icli Kofte (my favorite!!!) to start and then got the Mixed Kebab Platter for 2. Our server was great and the food came out hot and delicious. Can't wait to come back for more!

Talking about real taste. This place is a must try. Much better than many of the Turkish restaurants in Manhattan. Did only taste from what friends ordered because I wanted to keep it light (it was late) So far so good, will be back for a. Raki night

The food tasted very good, the meat were tender. We tried the mix and combination and all of these were good. The appetizer was awesome, it’s meat balls stuffed with beef chicken walnut. A must have. The reason I took 1 star off is that if they can make their own drinks instead of buying off from the market and serve directly to the table, that will be fantastic!

I ordered Kibbeh Balls as an appetizer, and it was delicious! The main dishes were just okay. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere inside, and outdoor dining is available. Staffs were amicable, and the food came out timely.

Be aware of the wrong prices!!! I went into the cinarnj official website for Cliffside park, and the website clearly said lunch for $12.95. When I came to pick up my order, and realized the $15.00 difference, I questioned it. He rudely replied “it’s just words on the website, and you shouldn’t pay attention to the website. Also it’s only $3.00” I almost dropped to the floor when I heard his response. I will never go there again. I would prefer to go to Sofie’s in Hasbrouck Heights, or two minutes away to Istanbul Borek & Kebab. They both have MUCH BETTER SERVICE AND THEIR PRICES ARE MUCH REASONABLE. Also the portion size is very small….. For the lunch high expense your spending.

Here you will find one of the best tasting Turkish food. Funny just found out I visited their other restaurant years ago in West Caldwell and that was my worst Turkish restaurant ever. Hopefully they improved. Definitely will visit the Clifside Park location again.

This was a lovely restaurant. Every dish was delicious, we tried a few dishes including the fried liver, chicken adana, and the yogurt lamb shish kebab. I’m not a big fan of lamb but the lamb was very tender and delicious. The staff was friendly. The Turkish tea was very nice and the custard dessert had the perfect amount of sweetness. My favorite dish was the fried liver, recommend ordering with other dishes since it has a strong flavor. The parking wasn’t too bad at lunchtime on the weekend.

Wow! This was our very first time here and didn’t really know what to expect. Both my husband and I were totally impressed with the food, The service and the ambiance. I’m actually a tough critic, I happen to be a great cook and previously owned a restaurant so I Consider myself a bit more critical than most. I was truly surprised and will definitely be back. Our waiter, Birol, was super nice and attentive. Our food came out fast, hot and beautifully presented. Upon seating us we were served grilled bread with the most delicious olive oil dip. I think that’s when I realized we picked a good spot. Come try this fabulous place, you’ll be happy you did!

I was born to be turkish and mediterranean food, so mostly I went around my Fort Lee and bergen area. This is the first time I have visited. The food is great, same as much as around the Turkish spot in Cliffside Park. But the food portion is not worthy of what I pay for comparing the other famous turkish spot in Cliffside Park. Nothing special with other mediterranean places.

Best Turkish Restaurant in New Jersey. Everything is super tasty and delicious. Staff is so helpfull. All kebabs, lamb shank, Albanian style liver, cigar borek are my favorites. But the Shepherd Salad...Sometimes I just go there just to eat this salad. And for the mezzes also..
