I am sorry to say that after 22 years of patronage, I won't be coming back to this place, since being sold to new owners the quality and the portions of the food have gone on a steep decline. The platters are half the weight they use to be, the flavours are non-existent, the kebabs are the size of spring rolls, yes ..the size of spring rolls...go see for yourself, I honestly do not think these new owners/management is interested in improving. The waiting is even more horrible, 43 minutes for a Lamb & Chicken Kebab...43 MINUTES!!!! WT?!?!?! The new management has no sense of urgency, no wonder all those people there waiting for their food are always frustrated and angry, i really wish the best for you guys. I have recently noticed since the new owners took over, less and less people are frequenting that place, I remember the hay days and good memories of this place, it's not the same anymore, sad to say that things change, time to move on. To anyone reading this, I recommend Beirut down the street or at least The Little Lebanon Restaurant on Main St. those guys still make the original sized portions and authentic taste of Lebanese food while retaining the quality.

Noticing the taste change. New staff working there is always in attitude. Last night I ordered full chicken with 2 breads and there was no bread. Chicken was wrapped and I got charged for 2 breads. Owner needs to take a Notice and people needs to check their orders.

Yesterday was my first time to go there and it will be the last no matter how good food they have but when I go to spend money to eat I expect to meet nice people not to be treated very rudely and getting my food ice cold also not to eat my dine-in-food in a take way containers not even a paper plate under my chicken, literally just wrapped in a foil

These guys have the best charcoal chicken in the city. Garlic sauce is next level.

This place is a mixed bag. The mixed grill I had was mostly really nice, apart from the microscopic bit of garlic sauce. The tables have a dirty, sticky feeling and the staff have no hospitality whatsoever. Order ahead if you are in a rush, they can take ages.

Been coming here for few months and found the food tasty and good portion. Since the owners changed its doesn’t have the quality like before, small portion and the prices have changed. Not recommended

Have been coming here for years! Recently new owners have taken over and all the food taste isn’t the same. Garlic dip not as creamy and overload of garlic, lamb swarma not seasoned and very oily. Very sad - used to be my favourite 😔

Went the other day my friend ordered hers first then I ordered mine we waited over 30 mins for our food it was ridiculous. One person serving customers as well as doing Menulog orders took ages to serve this one guy for delivery orders. Food isn't that great either kebab was a good flavour but bread was cold.Ribs were average salad looks old and brown never again. Not only that but the person who serves you is not nice not very friendly either. seems they like to serve men first and women last. Never again

Food is always great here and the prices are good value for the portion Their staff are under-trained in customer service, waiting and time management skills. We weren’t greeted with a smile on arrival, it took 15 minutes to get glasses once we arrived. A glass had lipstick on and when we asked to have a clean glass we ended up waiting 10 minutes (we chased them up on it) The lady taking our order seemed very grumpy and wasn’t helpful Beiyrut Restaurant provides the same quality of food but provides a better service

I have been a customer for 4 years now. This place had the best charcoal chicken. With the management changed, chicken is still good but please bring back the old biryani rice recipe!!!!! Can’t handle this change in my life :(

Wow, this place is incredible. I had the best falafel kebab, and the chips were incredible. The garlic sauce was so tasty. I had heard great things and was not disappointed. Lots of options are available. We tried the pizza, and it was full of toppings, absolutely 💯 delicious. Highly recommend 👌 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is honestly a shame that I would have to post such negative review, but sadly this store is just too far off to ignore. Coming from the east coast of Australia (Sydney), the Lebanese community has flourished and sure enough you know Lebanese hospitality when you see it. And you know how the food should be presented and more importantly how it should taste. And unfortunately this place is the furthest thing from it. I don't know if this is one of many stores they have or not but these "Lebanese" owners who we know well enough take pride in the product they deliver need to revisit this place and really take a good hard look at where the business has headed. Ordering a chicken shawarma roll & a quarter chicken and chips sure enough I knew what to expect. Or so I thought... This is where the disappointment followed through. The were about 8 staff members or so cooking and preparing orders yet some how this simple order took 30 minutes to come. The presentation, oh thats something else in itself. It was messy, it was nothing that I had expected. A Chicken shawarma role is a simple roll with your shredded chicken and your choice of veggies with garlic sauce rolled up and slightly toasted. Yep... None of that happened... What I a got was a barely folded together Lebanese bread stuffed with the ingredients, imagine a soft shell messy taco, that what came out.. what's worse was the paper being used. And literally bonded itself to the roll tearing the bread apart as you tried to open it up to eat. Moving on to the quarter chicken and chips. I don't know what they were thinking but slapping a big blob of garlic with some chips and a small bit of salad in the take out trays for (dine in) is unacceptable. We won't stop there they chose to throw a Lebanese bread on top of it and jam a under cooked garlic sauce coated chicken on-top of the bread only to close it up and hand it over to you in a brown paper bag. Headed over to sit and eat in the below average seating area, it was easy to spot that not a single staff member bothered to walk through and clean tables or wipe them down for the next set of customers. Hygiene levels thumbs down if you ask me. Opening up my order immediately I was disgusted with it. The bread had turned into a dough and the chicken was just slimey. Now remember I'm comparing to the Lebanese food I know and love from other restaurants, and my reviews previously speak for their self. Then to my surprise I find that the order was completely wrong. Rather than a qaurter chicken they've jammed literally 2 quarter chickens in it. I understand that some people out there don't have the privilege to eat food, so I ate what I could save from it, which was pretty much the chips and salad and just immediately left. I write this review honestly thinking in the next few hours I'd be having food poisoning.

Paid $28 for mixed platter. Absolutely waste of my money and time as well because I had to 30 minutes for my order and meat was not cooked either. The young Indian descent guy served me at the counter. He was extremely rude and he was acting like he was giving me a favour for being serving me at the counter. I am coming here for almost 7 years but I am done here now

Food is good here, but the wait times are longer than what the staff tell you. I was told over the phone it’ll be ready in 10-15min, but I ended up waiting for an additional 25min once I got here. Will still give them 4stars though, as food tastes really good.

We love this place and grab takeaway from here at least weekly! We get the mixed platter with rice and it feeds two of us perfectly including rice, lamb kofta, beef steak chunks, charcoal chicken, prawns, pita bread, side salad plus hummus and garlic sauce. It's especially good when you're looking for somewhere to eat late at night because they are open until early hours of the morning.

I went there on Sunday during lunch hours. Paid for a whole chicken takeaway. Upon opening the package at home, I realised that it was yesterday's leftover chicken. If someone is paying full price, they deserve a fresh feed from the restaurant. Utterly disgraceful and disappointing. Shame on you people

The food is delicious and a very reasonable price. There are lots of add on item on it. Customer service was good, love to visit time and again and taste the yummy chicken with the sauce 😋😋

I'm not nornally one to write reviews, but feel it's necessary under these circumstances. It's such a shame to see what was once an institution, deteriorate so dramatically. I'll never be coming back again after 20 years of regular attendance. The quality and service has been dropping, and despite this I have given multiple chances, however I continue to be disappointed. I understand that mistakes get made, and I wouldn't be upset about isolated experiences, however when there is a problem every time, its difficult to accept. Not only has the quality of food been extremely hit or miss, I have had multiple issues receiving my full order in a timely manner when collecting in store or using Uber Eats. As an example, I ordered a chicken kebab this evening which was completely cold and soggy, and my chips , dip and dessert did not come which has happened now multiple times. It's really a shame, as this used to be one of my favourite places to eat, I genuinely hope that it can get back to old standards. However, as things stand, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.
