I saw a picture of their lobster roll and I couldn't wait to try it. Friday it was sold out by noon ( I don't understand why you can't make more before 5pm? Bizarre). So Saturday I get ready right at 11. 87 calls later I get my order in. 1.5 hour wait, no problem, this sandwich looks amazing! I get there, service is typical nothing special. I open my sandwich and laugh. It doesn't look that amazing in person. I eat it. I have absolutely no idea what was worth all of the hoopla. Anyone who has ever had a lobster roll from a real lobster place would die. This was the McDonald's version of a lobster roll. This is the sandwich people dream about???!!! Those excited people must think Log Cabin pancake topping is real maple syrup, I'm not sure. The bread was good.

Sandwiches are great but the menu hasn’t been updated in years. Needs some new variety. Also, only way to order is to get lucky by calling and hoping someone picks up or the line isn’t busy. Business methods need improved.

Bottom line. The sandwiches are worth what I'm going to say next because they're great. I get sandwiches from here regularly and there's never been a more stressful ordering process. They want you to order by phone which is great. The first few times I call regularly go to the busy signal. Then the next couple times it'll ring and ring and go to a voicemail that isn't taking calls. Then I'll get through but be put on a 3 minute hold only to find out that the food will be ready in 50 to 90 minutes depending on the day. I'll keep dealing with the ordering process because I love the food. But please help your customers out and fix the ordering system!!

Used to be my favorite sandwich shop in OC but unfortunately I haven't been able to get one in quite some time due to the "selective" nature they have with their phone system. I seem to never get through. Decided to try again today - called about 6x in a row and it rang to voicemail. On the 7th try it was busy. I can only assume the person who called right in-between my 6th and 7th call was the lucky winner. I also have no problem walking down there but you can't order in the shop without a 1-2 hour wait, no online ordering, and the phone is never answered. Really pains me to leave this review because the food is amazing! But it does kind of suck to have not been able to get a sandwich for almost a year unless you're lucky enough to call within the right minute time frame the phone is picked up.

The smoked turkey club was amazing. The bread to meat ratio is perfect. They don’t skimp on the sauce. Every bite is packed with flavor. The sandwich was filling but I could’ve ate more just because it was the best I have had in Cleveland.

Atmosphere is amazing, cashier was insanely busy but she didn't let that from listening to what I wanted and making sure to note no cheese on my sandwich. They had hundreds of orders but food came out perfect fresh and hot. Sandwich was absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to go back!

Wow. Incredible sandwiches. Not quite as loaded as some of the previously posted pictures, and I received mine sightly smashed and messy, but oh so good. The shaved prime rib is exceptional on its own and the ranch sets it over the top. The mayo and combination of meats on the Italian are also perfection. Well worth the $10 per sandwich, though I wish chips were included, because ½ can fill you up for the better part of a day! If you’re debating on making a trip, stop waiting like I did. I should have stopped in months ago. I’d be back every day for lunch if it wasn’t a 35 minute drive... I cannot wait until they get their duck meatballs back as that’s what I have been dying to try! Highly recommend - get a couple, cut em up and share!

Wow. We’re passing through Cleveland on a road trip and decided to stop here for lunch today. We ordered over the phone and they had it ready quickly. We got an Italian sandwich and a salad, both are pretty big! My boyfriend and I split the sandwich and we both think it’s the best Italian sub we’ve had. Really cute place and staff was friendly and wearing masks. I’d go back if we find ourselves here again.

I got the pork sandwich. It had shaved pork loin, gruyere cheese, braised apple kraut and maple & fennel mustard. I wanted to love this sandwich, but it just wasn't that great sadly. The pork was flavorless and the kraut overpowered everything in not a good way. It wasn't disgusting it was edible, but just not my cup of tea. However, the staff was friendly and I'm willing to give it another try and just get something different next time.

One of my favorite sandwich shops in the greater Cleveland area. You can’t go wrong with any one of their delicious sandwiches. All of the meat is hand cut when you order and they frequently sell out due to high demand. My only word of warning is that sometimes the sandwich can take anywhere from 1-1.5 hours to make so I would advise ordering a little before you start to get hungry!

This place gets A LOT of hype, but is it worth it? YES. This restaurant is takeout only. We walked in around noon on a Friday. There was only one person in front of us in line. We ordered two sandwiches: the vegetable (it's vegetarian) and the Turkey club. I saw from reviews online that we should be prepared for a long wait. So we sat down on the bench inside to wait. I was pleasantly surprised when we only had to wait 15 minutes during the prime lunch hour! We go the two subs, two bags of chips, and two bottles of water for under $30, which I thought was so reasonable! The sandwiches were hearty and big! We took our sandwiches to the nearby park / library to eat on a bench, since there was no where to actually eat at the restaurant. Being a vegetarian, it's difficult to find filling and flavorful food. But omgsh, this sandwich was amazing! (My husband said it was even better than his!) So many wonderful flavors from the sweet potato, to the picked red onions, the pesto, the fire roasted tomato. OMG YUM. My husband was impressed by his Turkey club saying it was the best sandwich he's ever had. He said all the flavors worked together nicely.

Since the first time I had this sandwich I thought for sure that is the most flavorful turkey and bacon sandwich ever and to date that has not changed. I'm not too crazy about the wait time but we also can't rush perfection.

A long overdue praise, but back in October I had planned my sister’s baby shower. We decided to get Herb’n Twine as the main food and not only was it a hit, but they were so wonderful to communicate with. Made the catering side of things so easy for me which took such a weight off my shoulders. We got so many compliments on the food from guests that I just wanted to pass along. Cheers to you all and many many thanks!

I always read reviews about how Herb'n Twine had the best sandwiches in Cleveland and I went in with super high expectations, it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Highly recommend the turkey club and the pork but will be back to try all of their others as well

This place was described to me as "basically the restaurant from The Bear, but everyone is silent." No one got stabbed and no fires started, but some fantastic sandwiches were made. I've gotten some seriously good sandwiches here. Poppy flavors in fresh bread for reasonable prices. There's some good variety in the menu, so there's plenty to go back for.

I ordered the Smoked Turkey Club sandwich wich was very good compared to Subway. I paid $10.00 for my sandwich. It appears the employees are very experienced at what they do and care about customers satisfaction.

These are legitimately the best sandwiches myself and my fiance (a chef who went to culinary school) have ever had in our entire lives. Our lives now revolve around when the shop is open. If you're thinking of trying them out- GO IMMEDIATELY. These sandwiches will fix your marriage, heal any ailment, and make your dad come back home from "going to get milk" 32 years ago.

Best sandwiches in Cleveland! You can tell the bread is homemade and fresh. Highly recommend the classic italian or the grilled cheese. Absolutely worth the wait every time!

The sandwiches were really good. The Italian was next level! The pork loin sandwich could have benefited from a little more mayo, but was still quite tasty. Tomato Bisque soup was fantastic as well. No tables, so it's take out only. I will definitely be back.

Easily #1 italian sandwich I’ve had in my life thus far. The bread has this perfect crust that is crispy and melts in your mouth just as quickly as its crumb. The meats are as flavorful as they come, enough said. And that garlic aioli? You’ll be licking the wrapping paper. Only thing I’m sad about is not being able to have it again before I leave Cleveland. If you’re visiting, don’t miss out.

Honestly the best sub shop in Cleveland, fare warning it’s so good you got to get there early because they sell out fast! Some stuff I do not normally eat, I will eat on this sandwich because the flavor combos are impeccable. If sandwich making was a science these guys are Einsteins.

One of the best sub shops in Cleveland, great fresh bread Everytime, tasty flavor combinations and Great prices. Only thing is there is a wait time especially on weekends due to high demand and sell out so make sure you place your order early enough! Must try atleast once if you haven’t already!

Sadly disappointed on a recent return trip since pandemic shut-down. Not what it used to be. Skimped on the prime rib, the fillings and bread aren't the same overflowing artisan quantity or quality as in the past. Call ahead unless in area already.... any special unannounced trip is a risk since often sold out.

I have loved every sandwich I've ever had from H&T the one i think of most is the lobster roll. The hours are unique and they often sell out so don't sleep on them if you have your heart set on something.

Delicious sandwiches, love the Turkey club! The gal at the counter was super helpful and patient when I had questions about allergies. One of my fav Cleveland lunch spots.

It should literally be a crime to make a Turkey Club this good! They don’t skimp on the flavor or meat portions! My new favorite sandwich shop!!!
