Had a phenomenal dinner the other night with our business partners. The appetizers of clams casino and oysters Rockefeller were great, and of course we got a thick piece of bacon that’s not on the menu. My filet was like butter, perfectly cooked medium rare. The atmosphere is intimate, but you can have some laughs and not feel like your being too loud. Overall this spot is a must to visit if you are coming to Annapolis!

Always an amazing experience. The food is superb. The staff is so so kind. My fiancé and I go here for very special occasions and we have never had a bad experience. My must have every time is the tomato and onion salad with added feta. SO FRESH AND GOOD. and the steaks, I mean they speak for themselves. Insane amount of flavor, makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Also the onion bread is just 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼. Go here, you’re gonna have to spend some money, but it is 1000% worth it.

The best fine dining experience in the DMV area! Service, steaks, and sides are perfection. The wine menu and knowledge is very impressive, too. (Try out a bottle of the Amancaya wine if you're into Malbecs!) Brownie sundae is an end-of-the-meal must.

Lewnes was recommended to me by a co-worker. The drinks were good as well as the food. Our waiter told me after the fact that I ordered as if I'd been there before 😆. I do my research beforehand so I knew what I wanted (kinda)! We couldn't decide between steak and Chilean sea bass so we got both. Both were amazing. Also couldn't decide on if we wanted the sauteed spinach or the cream of spinach so the waitress suggested doing half and half. I can't tell you which one was better, I liked them both equally. I also got the Greek salad which had a little twist, they put potatoes in it. Which threw me off initially but I liked it. My son got the lamb chops & they were cooked well, only complaint was it lacked flavor. But nothing a little salt couldn't fix. Overall we had a very good dining experience and I'm looking forward to going back.

So i had 3 people for a dinner at 5 pm They got us in at 4:30 and they sat us a table 50 Adam was the server he had a cold he was very stuffed up! He was not very friendly at all!!! We had the steaks and few drinks and 2 side’s to split for the 214 this meal cost me i could have easily went to ruth chris and had a much!!! Better meal plus for people to say this is the beat meal in Annapolis you must never had great steaks before!!!! I will never return nor would i recommend!!!! Also Adam left wine glass on the top of are booth

My wife and I enjoyed both perfectly cooked steaks. Definitely will come back when in the area, they went above and beyond to accomodate us without a resevation. The steak helped with my recovery from the seagull century that I finished that morning.

We had a wonderful experience here for my birthday. Food was delicious and came out really fast.

First time at Lewne’s but won’t be the last! This place was wonderful! Great service, incredible food, and all you could ask for in wine list! The bacon app was a 10, and we all LOVED our steaks! Highly recommend this restaurant! Also, the cocktails and drinks couldn’t have been better!

I really had a great time here. I love the atmosphere and vibe. Very sophisticated and I loved the classical music. The Onion Bread was so good. The Seafood Bisque was incredible. The Old Fashion was bold and strong, just how I like it. They have wonderful appetizers, side dishes and desserts.

If I could give this place more stars I would!!!!! This is the greatest dining experience of my life!!!! Our server Eric was and is the absolute model of customer service and scholar to the industry. He is absolutely amazing. Our dinner for two would not have been complete without him 10 stars to Eric and I mean it. Now, our food was amazing great tasting tender steaks cooked to perfection! I highly recommend the crabs balls appetizer while you wait. Everything we ordered was hot, Eric and the manager staff were attentive and punctual...We will be back!

Best steakhouse we have been to in the DMV!! My husband's steak was cooked perfectly. I had the sea bass and it was delicious and also cooked so nicely! The creamed spinach was super tasty, with a faint hint of nutmeg that worked really well! The mashed potatoes were also amazing, along with the mushrooms. Oh wait, I forgot about the oysters!! So meaty and tasty! We got half a dozen but then had to order more! The cab sav I ordered was delicious and my husband enjoyed his old fashioned. Aside from the food, we loved the ambience. It was super cozy with comfy booths, and was fairly quiet, with lovely jazz music playing lightly in the background. But one of the best parts was our amazing server, Eric! He added so much to the experience by being so welcoming, friendly, and attentive, but yet completely unintrusive. He even surprised us with a birthday treat for my husband! So thoughtful. Eric is phenomenal and I hope he's there next time we come back. We absolutely LOVED Lewnes' and cannot wait for our next visit!!

Staff and servers were great. Nice quiet booth in the back. Perfect dinner for two. All of the food was delicious. Ribeye Steak with crab meat was so good and cooked perfectly. All of the sides, even ordered at half sizes were more than enough. Perfect steakhouse for steakhouse lovers.

It doesn’t get better than this! Fine wine, food, and a warm welcome. I enjoyed a 2003 Harlan Estate and 2003 Spottswoode and sampled steaks with friends and my fiancé. We love this place and can’t recommend it enough!

I thought that this was a truly exceptional steakhouse in the old style. Wood paneling, booths, and leather seats with a good amount of privacy were some of the features. We were fortunate to have Patricia as our server. She was highly professional, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. The food was outstanding and lived up to the best expectations of what a great steakhouse should be like. One other thing that I was very happy about was that this steakhouse does not encourage young children. So you can enjoy your meal without listening to screaming children running up and down the aisles. The owners are to be commended for this. While unfortunately I don't get to Annapolis very often this will definitely be a stop for me next time I am in that area. A great experience from a great professional team.

Some of the best food in Maryland. If you have the budget, definitely check this place out. The servers are very kind and charismatic and the menu is very malleable to your desires. You'll have to take a staircase up to the dining area so be ready for that. Wonderful for special occasions

The food was fantastic! Very nice... however, the atmosphere is only a 4 out of 5 at best, in my opinion. This was the first time my business partner and I held our Christmas party here... again food (and drinks) were fantastic, service was fantastic, however again, the venue was just okay. This is my first appraisal of Lewnes' 1) food=100%; service=100%; and atmosphere/venue=85%

We just had an amazing meal…and it was carry out. The staff was on it too, super friendly and made sure we had everything we ordered and then some (warm onion loaf)! We eat at Ruth’s Chris pretty regularly and decided we should change it up. Let me tell you all it’s going to be a LONG while before we go back to RC. From the char on the steaks to the incredible lyonnaise potato’s, everything simply tasted better. You guys rock! Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

The was the best restaurant. From the greeter to the coat check person. Everything was excellent. The food and ambiance. I went for my birthday and it was the best birthday experience. I will definitely be going back.

We had the 40oz Cowboy Cut Ribeye and it was amazing! The waiter was a legend too. Can’t remember his name but he had a bit of a southern accent and was a great guy! So impressed. Will be back!

Perfectly cooked and seasoned steak. Delicious desserts. Great experience. Private booths. No official dress code, but business casual to dressed up is what seemed to be. Nice Jeans and polo shirt is acceptable. This is a fine dining establishment.

The place is amazing! Do yourself a favor and skip the chain a block away! The apps are family size and the mashed potatoes are mind blowing Great! I always get the cowboy cut or strip; either one is best in class.. I eat at the best steakhouses across the country and Lewnes holds its own against all! Book a table and sit back and enjoy! The wait staff is amazing! You feel special based on their attentive and professional service! Hats off to one of my favorites; for almost two decades now!

Just had dinner here. Great service and awesome food. The atmosphere was great. Chris the waiter was great. And the owner Mack Lewnes came out to greet us. It was a great experience. I highly recommend. It is clear why it’s considered the best steakhouse in Maryland.
