I would suggest going somewhere else. The door snobs running up front are obnoxious. Dropped ID outside, out of reach behind the gate, politely asked one of the bouncers if they could grab it for me, and was met with some “pseudo-alpha male” bs. “You can walk around and get it yourself.” Formerly being a bouncer, there’s really no reason for that, and also there was a gated crowd in line behind me. Unruly and drunk people are one thing, not regular patrons who were asking a favor because they literally could not get an item they dropped. We were removed from the line because I called Hamplanet Billy a dbag, no excuse there, but dang. Don’t act like a knob for no reason. Edit: read the previous reviews - it isn’t just me who thinks the bouncers are rude for no reason.

Zero stars. From the start of the night to the end, the attitudes and actions my friends and I experienced from the staff and bouncers was REPULSIVE. Staff, bouncers and management are sketchy, disrespectful and have no regard what so ever for the safety or experience of their guests. Staff gave off horrible attitudes and sass for no reason. A bouncer physically assaulted our friend and based on the response from management this must be something that happens a lot and they are used to covering up for the staff. Do not waste your time, money or risk your safety coming here.

This is a great place to dance and meet people, I was alone because I was visiting the USA as solo traveler, the guards were really nice, I'm Mexican and they allowed me to enter without any problem (you must to show your passport), this was my first nightclub at Boston and was really cool, $35 USD cover!

Having gone here three times to give it a chance, I have to say it is one of the worst clubs in Boston. Terrible music, overpriced cover, sketchy crowd. The bouncers are always on a power trip and single out people for absolutely no reason. If you treat them with respect they will still be very rude. They also have only targeted poc whenever we went so It makes us hard pressed to believe race isn’t a factor.

The security are very unprofessional we was on the front line they went all the way down on the line to grab 6 girls that was already drunk to put in because they need more girls than man that is what the latino security said! That is why happened a lot crimes over and over again because of they unprofessional jobs! I NOT A PLACE TO BE BECAUSE ITS NOT SAFE BECAUSE THE SECURITY DONT DO THEY JOB VERY GOOD!!! Be careful and be safe

This club is rated as one of Boston‘s best hotspot to have fun and meet someone new. The club on occasions will be mentioned by the media as a reminder for folks to be careful. The news will also mention which is true a young lady leaving this club lost her life to a man from Providence Rhode Island she met outside the establishment. My advice to you is please rely on your instincts and that that little voice in the back of your mind, “Commonsense”. I myself sometimes don’t listen and make mistakes. It doesn’t mean you won’t have fun and a great time there. Everyone’s taste and style is different. Some folks will love the club and others will be disappointed. The majority of people that show up to have fun at harmless, but maybe, it wouldn’t hurt to text a friend about the new person you just met as part of a safety plan. Finally, wishing everyone that goes clubbing to continue to have a good time and maybe a basic safety plan especially when leaving. Well have a great time in Boston 🙂.

My friends and I bought tickets for NYE Midnight ranging from $50-90. The ticket "guaranteed admission" but the entire line waiting outside was denied admission with claims that they were "at capacity". The bouncers couldn't care less about looking at our tickets or helping with refunds. They told us to figure out the refunds ourselves, meanwhile Eventbrite doesn't even have customer service so we're all struggling to get refunds now. Your money is better spent elsewhere!

Really unpleasant experience and unsafe for women. When closing time came, we were not only physically pushed out of the bar by the bouncers but also was also yelled and laughed at by them. Would not recommend this to anyone for a fun night out in Boston.

Bouncers allowed his friends to trample girls in line this past weekend instead of bringing his friends out from the side. No respect for general safety of potential clients for the establishment. Disappointing as a first time visitor but I guess they have money to spare for a bad review and experience.

Security things they own the street, you can rent the whole place paying q lot of $$$ and they will say not even to stand near the club after the party is over

The bouncers towards the end of the night were rude and unprofessional. They were rushing everybody out when my friend was at the entryway simply waiting for the rest of our friend group to get out too. He wasn't wearing a winter jacket, which is why he refrained from walking out the door right away. The bouncers were trying to force him out when he was simply stating to them that he didn't wanna wait outside cuz he didn't have a coat. It was really cold that night and I don't blame him for wanting to wait inside for a minute while he stayed warm waiting for the rest of our group to get out. The bouncers kept pushing my friend. They were both arguing and yelling at each other. My friend was simply trying to defend himself while pleading his case for wanting to wait for our friends. I was outside waiting for him when one of the bouncers pushed him outside and then PUNCHED HIM IN THE FACE 😡. I was SHOCKED!!!! I couldn't believe what I just saw. The bouncers were extremely immature and handled the situation poorly. My friend then called 911. We left a few minutes later so we'll never know if the cops actually came that night cuz we were all in a hurry to get back to our bus. Terrible experience would not go back. I hope this place shuts down!

This place is riddled with an arrogant and toxic almost clique like group of staff who go and above and beyond to make sure that there is a hierarchy. Specifically the older manager like figures who handle employees , hiring managers and male bosses . Furthermore there is instances of preferential treatment . If you don’t believe me read all the reviews . There’s definitely a theme . Do not work at Venu . Get your extra cash somewhere else . When push comes to shove you won’t be protected or spoken for unless you are one of the bunch .

Witnessed a group of Hispanic guys be discriminated against prior to entry, and eventually kicked out for no reason. Music was garbage. Drinks were overpriced and seemed watered down. First club I’ve been to in Boston & praying this isn’t standard for clubs in this city.

Went here to see Tory Lanez, I was getting close to the stage where there was some pushing going on. A girl screamed for security who came immediately off stage dragged me out ( being 5x my size) and did not see nor ask me what happened. The “owner” or “manager” outside did not pay me any mind but instead was taking large sums of money from gangs who had no identification. He requested the security man to come outside, but never came. Wonder why! I have bruises on me and a mark on my face from being man handled for no good reason. I paid over $300 for myself and friends and Tory never showed up, will see if I receive a refund. This place needs better management.

The staff members were rude and mean. I decided to celebrate my birthday there and I arrived a few minutes after my friends and I asked if I could stand in line with them and they wouldn't allow it. They said they didn't care that it was my birthday I had to go to the back of the line (not even in a nice way) One of my friends had my ticket, I had to call them to come back outside once I finally got inside for them to bring out my ticket. I will never go there again

I got harrased by the security when he touches me without my consent and they didnt even care to hear my side of the story. They even accused my friend of stealing the employees phone. And they also tried to avoid taxes by taking cash only. They don’t treat me like human.

Waste of time, full of underage cringe college students. Such a stupid system of creating a guest list queue for everyone to stand in. Girls who are attractive can skip the line just by flirting with the arrogant security staff. Clearly not a top club!

Bouncers are completely inconsiderate and arrogant, made simply entering the club difficult and uncomfortable. Venue itself is mediocre at best.

Be aware of racist security guards at the door, denied us entrance because of our skin color even though we had purchased tickets on Eventbrite.

Poured 3/4 of a beer and charged me for the whole beer. Watched the bar tender put the 1/4 of the drink I paid for in the trash. Go somewhere else.

Don't waste your time coming here. Everything about this place is TRASH. Bartenders will rob your money and give themselves more for tips. Plenty of other places to go to.

Worst place ever, one shot is $16 plus I had a fight with someone who wanted to steal my jacket and he had 3 more firends with him, the security literally told me if you end up fighting with them we can't protect you and we have to kick you out instead of kicking 4 people out although he knew the guy wanted to steal my jacket and he took my jacket from the guy and he gave it to me then asked me to leave. Will never go back there again. 😔😔😔

Had a great time! , Went by myself last night and had a blast The DJ was playin absolute hip hop boppers, all the bouncers were super friendly when I talked to them nice and clean place, overall had a blast and would definitely go back! :) Only reason I wouldn't give it five stars is cuz some of the bartenders and bottle girls were not in a positive mood but there was one that was really nice and made my night better :)

Why isn’t the club transparent with their cover fees? I heard it’s 25 if you’re on the guest list, 30 if you’re not. I went and the lady said it’s 40. She said it’s bc i arrived after 12. Like how hard is it to write that info on your FAQ page?? It seems like it’s such a scam to make ppl commit and wait in line and then charge a random price on a whim. Also the mixed drinks are not good, drank 2 drinks and wasn’t even feeling anything. The only positive thing about the club is that it is packed and you have the option to listen to Latin or hip hop. That’s it. I’ll stick to royale or BNL.

They have something called international Fridays, and they mention they have Latin music. However, the music was just bad electronic remixes. Not worthy at all

Still great after 10+ years Yes the lines suck but when you get in the entertainment is real. The music is great, drinks are good and the bartenders are attentive and try to be as fast as possible. You won’t have a bad time coming here

I ended up here looking for a night club with latin hispanic music. Paid $40 to get in. For my surprise, they had two dancefloors, one with what i was looking for. But on the other dancefloor, they were banging rap and hip hop tunes. People were having fun. I had fun and danced on both sections. Light show and animations were top quality and updated with times for me. Lots of colors. 50\50 you get a good bartender. Drinks were just ok. They close late so that's awesome. Overall, the vibe felt adecuate for ages 24- 35. Will definitely try again! Thanks.

I stood at a bar waiting to order drinks and a employee came up to me and accused me of hitting them in the face and they forced me to leave my girlfriend at the bar and my coat in the rack. Worst nightclub ever. Staff abused me. Planning on suing

Absolute horrible experience, mainly due to the bouncers working outside. Went there on Sunday 4/23/23 to celebrate my birthday - I immediately received a bad reception by the bouncers due to wearing a hat. Not the end of the world, so I took my hat off and began to clip it on my pants. I was told by immediately that that was unacceptable, so then asked if I could bring it in and check it with the coat check…and again with their horrible attitude I was told that couldn’t happen either. I then asked them if I could place it by the door safely and grab it upon leaving. Again with their horrible attitudes, one security guard tells me, “ You can do that, but if someone takes your hat we’re not responsible.” I replied stating that if their duty is to secure the door, patron safety, and belongings in coat check, that if someone indeed steals my item of clothing under their watch, then it would be their responsibility. They continued expressing their toxic macho mannerisms, and I told them that it’s 10:30 PM in Boston and I had to park a long way away to return my hat, mind you it was also raining ! They said it wasn’t their problem… I’m a pretty non confrontational person, and it takes a lot to upset me, but I was frustrated to say the least. I bit the bullet, returned to my car - and in hindsight I should have told the 3 other patrons that came with me that we should relocate to a different place just from the bad taste they left. When I came back, I paid $30 to get in plus $5 for coat check (money wasn’t the issue, I went their to celebrate my birthday at 12AM and just wanted to get in and make the best of it.) When I finally got inside, the venue was riddled with guys wearing hats. Skullys, fitteds, beanies, you name it. Rules are rules, and if they applied to everyone I wouldn’t of even taken the time to write this review, but the combination of horrible customer service and hypocrisy really set the tone for my experience throughout the night. I’m one person, and it probably won’t make a difference, but I’m never going that establishment again. Bad enough the venue was the size of a closet. Exceptional customer service goes a long way! Unfortunately, I’d rate the bouncers a -5/10. Their attitude felt personal, and they should truly seek proper customer service training. This was a horrible way to bring in my birthday.

Drinks are watered down. I took a shot of tequila and didn’t even flinch. . 35 dollars for a double shot of Milagros in a cocktail And I can’t even taste The tequila.

Bad experience, a place where immigrants are apparently not welcome, at the entrance when they realized that we didn't speak English in an arbitrary way they said that we couldn't enter wearing a cap until then, ok, right, house rules, but when we entered there were at least 8 people wearing caps , but that wasn't the worst thing after about 30 minutes after we entered, we were harshly expelled from the place with the justification that we couldn't drink near the bar where we were paying and consuming without causing any type of inconvenience.
