Disappointed. Right from the entry, we were judged. We walked in with a piece of cake wrapped in foil. As we spoke to man at front, he stopped us and said no outside food. We were fine with keeping our food back in the car but it was the tone in which he said that wasn’t good. They have an entry fee of 15$ which can be covered if you take their tasting menu. They cover charge is to see live music on sundays. We did that as we wanted to try out their wine. We walk over to the next counter to receive our tasting cups and the lady was slow and decided to pour less than normal wine. They have line to mark the amount of wine one gets. That’s how we figured it was lesser. They close at 5 and we reached by 3:30pm. The venue is beautiful. Not as big as pictured. They serve pizzas for food. We didn’t try it as we were put off with the service. The wine, honestly wasn’t good either. Their best selling wine was average. I have had better wine in this neighborhood with a better experience. Left disappointed. Will not come back again.

I have visited this place twice and i absolutely love it. The white wine flights are $22 and it includes the entrance fee. They have lots of seats at a first come first serve basis. They also have live music and food for purchase. My favorite is the Margherita pizza. It’s so yummy while enjoying some wine. The only thing i don’t like and why i am not giving this place a 5 star is because both times i came the vineyards are always close for harvest. My friends have been here too and they said the same thing about the vineyard being close

Beautiful place to spend a summer day. Wines are very good. Taste a flight before you buy. Food is tasty; try the pizza. Staff are helpfull and pleasant. Go when they have music under the arbor Plan to spend, but it is worth it.

As I was in the mood to try a winery I was excited to try a new place. We arrived the and cashier as an elderly lady and she informed us right away that flights are on a list and there was a cover charge of 15 bucks for life music but she never said per person. I told her o only like sweet wines . She then said the classic was the one because it was “approachable” not knowing what approachable was I went over to the counter and asked for a tasting. The lady left the register and took my cup when she told me 22 play 15 for cover charge and I said no. You didn’t say we had to buy two flights. This place is a ripoff . And they are liars and rude .

My husband and I were here for the first time today. I thought it would be a great birthday gift. I booked a private tour of the vineyard with a private wine tasting. Tom, one of the brothers who owns Alba was our guide. He was friendly, answered all of our questions, and provided a lot of information about the vineyard and all of the wines we sampled, including the proper way to sample the wine which includes a few steps before you are supposed to taste the wine. After this we sat in the arbor area to eat the paninis we ordered. The food is all fresh. No cold cuts here. The vegetables are grown in a separate area on the Alba acreage and the food is locally sourced. It was delicious. We also had the pleasure of enjoying some great live music. The day was absolutely perfect. Interesting history about the vineyard and the wines, great food, wine, and music, breathtaking views, and an excellent guide. Thanks Tom! We will definitely be returning to Alba.

The winery that grows the golden grapes… This winery has a world of potential. The views are beautiful and the ambience is nice. However, the pricing is ridiculous. My wife and I went here back in November 2021 as we were passing by to find out that they charge $32 per flight for 4 small wine samples. We have visited most of the wineries in NJ and have not seen flights for more than $12-$15 dollars. Alba Winery charged more than double. Not sure how people can afford to pay this consistently. Last week, we were in the area and decided to give them another try, just for a glass. The glass was about $8-$9 but you had to pay a $15 dollar cover in addition to the glass for live music. If you bought a flight for anywhere from $22-$32 dollars, the cover would be waived. Therefore, either way you’d be paying in the $20s for the equivalent of a glass of wine. We won’t be going back here anytime soon unless they start charging reasonable prices. There are less expensive wineries with better views in NJ and even over the border in PA.

We had an amazing time at the Alba Vineyard celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. Nick gave us a great tour, sharing his knowledge and love for wine, answering our questions and guiding us through a wine tasting. The food was delicious, live music - vibrant, and views - breathtaking! The Alba vineyard being a family business made this experience so much better with everybody we encountered being friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for a celebration, relaxing weekend or a spiritual retreat.

My husband and I recently visited Alba and took a private tour and wine tasting. It was excellent! I highly recommend it! I felt like I was transported to a winery in Italy. The views and the experience were truly amazing. The family has a passion for what they do and they are incredibly knowledgeable about the entire process and science behind it. They were born to make the finest wine in NJ! After our tour we stayed behind for a light lunch with incredible view and sound of a three piece band. I can not wait to get back to Alba in the future for some fun events with friends and family. Not to be missed!

Great tasting wine, beautiful winery views, delicious food options and pleasant atmosphere. Every year they elevate their game, would love to see a water feature on the property and have more seating options that are not reserved for "Club" members

Amazing Experience I called to book my wife’s 30th birthday party and asked for food to be included. The person I spoke with was very knowledgeable and emailed me over a menu of what was included. The dining options were all based on a package choice which made the selection easy. A week before the event I called the caterer who went over the menu with me. I was very pleased with how easy it was. On the day of the event we were seated in the corner of the arbor at our own table. The wine tasting that I had ordered for our group of 12 (including my friend in a wheelchair) was amazing and not to mention the food was incredible! We ate and drank our fill on a beautiful September afternoon overlooking the stunning 93 acres of vineyard. My wife and her friends had an incredible time and the food was so fresh and delicious especially for a vineyard. I highly recommend anyone to go visit Alba and we will definitely be going back.
