Website looks great, Dr. seems very pleasant, however, I don’t feel she should be doing nose jobs. Almost $12k later and my nose looks the same. Still a big profile from front and side. Bump is smaller but still there 3 years later. I could have spent far less at a neighboring surgeons office for better quality work. My nose is no where near the digital rendering she presented and agreed to do. When I told her it wasn’t what I wanted she offered to redo it but I had to pay the $3,600 hospital fees again. After reading everyone’s reviews I’ve decided to put that money towards another surgeon with more experience and quality work. Unfortunately if you take the time to look at her websites before and after pictures for nose jobs you can see many of them are still crooked or lumpy in the after photos, some of them you can’t tell what was taken before or after. I hated my nose for 12 years and I still hate it. Wish I had gone somewhere else. For those who see all the great reviews, get multiple estimates and consultations. I thought I was going to the right place and genuinely wanted this to work but I have to look at a nose I hate everyday and think about how I wasted money I saved for so long, just to hate my nose today and start all over.

Hello, Jamie performed both my primary and first revision. I had a severely deviated septum and a bump. She was able to smooth my nose, however it did not stay aligned and shifted after the first procedure. After paying the second round of hospital fees Jamie performed a revision. All she did was “tie a knot” to hold the bones position and closed my nose without ensuring support. My entire nose on the left side collapsed in and the cartilage on the tip was horribly uneven. She did offer to try again, but I don’t think she felt confident she would be able to fix it. I don’t like leaving this review because as a person she really is so sweet. But my experience is what it was and my reality is to correct her procedures I had to go to another surgeon who genuinely believed he could see she tried but stated she just may not have the esthetic or technical skill for nose jobs and skills are suited to other procedures. She took down my before and after photos from the second procedure because they were awful results and that’s not being honest to potential clients so please just know that she’s an amazing person but results will vary. If your procedure isn’t complicated and relatively easy I would still go with her. If you need a surgeon capable of complex or detailed procedure or are looking for specific results, just research and always look at the before and after photos of your potential surgeon and meet with them. See if work they have performed is similar to your sought results. This is not the procedure to be rushed and impatient with. I wish things had gone as planned and they didn’t so I’m an honest person and my nose was severely botched by Jamie. I told her I’m not upset with her and I’m not I made the choice to have the surgeries. However letting people know to do their research and be informed of their potential results is something that is only fair. I wish her the best. I also hope you get the results you seek.

Derosa lacks the minimum skills to perform a simple rhinoplasty. I wonder how she even got her medical license. She has zero technical knowledge; I was left with flared and fat nasal tip, short upturned nose which looks way worse than my original nose I am highly disappointed with the revision rhinoplasty results and the staff’s table manners. Something was off with her from the beginning. During our consultation, for every question I asked, she was saying, 'i will try’. She was not confident or sure what she was planning to do with me. However, she claimed she could improve my nose and agreed to perform the surgery. I was skeptical, but I went ahead with the surgery out of desperation. Initially, when I called the office for a quote, they said the revision would range around 9k, but as soon as she knew that I got referred by a different surgeon, she increased her quote to 14k. However, I went ahead and scheduled the surgery, and the results were a nightmare. My money went into the trash, and nothing could bring my old nose back. It's been 15 months post-op, and I am not even comfortable clicking a selfie. I complained to her about the wide nose bridge, and she said she could not correct it as it is bone(seriously????) I contacted multiple surgeons, and all were surprised that a wide nasal bone could not be corrected. Just because I didn't study medicine, she cannot make up stories and fool me Please run away from this money-grubber and save your nose. There are many skilled and mannered surgeons out there. Please do your research and save your money and nose!!

I only have positive things to say about the DeRosa clinic. Everyone there is smiley and warm when you walk in to the office. Upon meeting Dr DeRosa, I knew immediately I was in good hands. She is warm, friendly, and informative, and I was immediately made to feel comfortable. She has a way about her - you feel like you’re talking to a good friend who is being honest with you. If you are that kind of person, you’ll want to give your new friend a hug when you leave. I am so pleased with my results and yet they are so subtle. So many people I run into have been telling me how good I look :), and I’m pretty average looking. I’m very happy I did it and so will you be :).

I went to see Dr. DeRosa for a Rhinoplasty procedure after having suffered significant damages to my nose due to a bike accident earlier last year. I honestly can say I’m so happy with the results! It took about four months after the procedure for it to show a substantial difference but it was well worth it.I highly recommend to anyone wanting/needing a rhinoplasty to give Dr. DeRosa a try. She will listen to your concerns and go over all your options all the while being very friendly and attentive. Her staff is very friendly and resourceful as well.

Dr.DeRosa was absolutely amazing. I have always wanted a nose job since I was 10 and just got one last week 11 years later. She understood exactly what I wanted right away and was the best doctor I’ve ever had. At 1 week post op my nose looks better than I could’ve expected. Obviously it’s still swollen so it’s rounded at the tip but she got rid of the bump and made the tip not droopy and completely natural cause she understands that as a young girl I don’t want it to be pointy or tilted up so much you can see in my nose like some people. Originally we didn’t think we’d need to break my nose but during surgery she made the call that in order to get it looking exactly how she knew I pictured it she did end up breaking it and making it thinner at the top and I’m glad she did because she understood the vision. She is so easy to talk to and understands how important it is to feel comfortable in this setting. Everyone who works there was so nice and made me feel comfortable the moment I opened the door and even answered my email two days after surgery at 8:30 pm when I had a question about the pain. If you are going to get rhinoplasty in highly recommended Dr. DeRosa.

My experience at DeRosa Center Plastic Surgery was excellent from start to finish. I had revision work done on my nose - to correct some old problems that have bothered me since 1974, when I had my original rhinoplasty surgery. Surgeon, Dr. Jaimie DeRosa is the best of the best. She did amazing work on my nose, giving me the nose I've always wanted. She was able to lower the tip and make my nose smaller and more delicate looking. And not only is Dr. DeRosa a top notch surgeon, but she is a wonderful, kind, and caring person as well. I cannot say enough about Dr. DeRosa! She and her entire staff are beyond amazing!!

Dr derosa fixed my broken nose from a terrible fall. Initially I was seen in the emergency room where the surgeon compromised other parts of my nose. When I said I noticed there were problems he took no responsibility. I went to dr derosa she knew exactly what I saw and repaired it. She has the kindest personality and her skills are nothing short of magical. She also accepts your phone calls and any. Concerns you may have. Very professional and one of the most compassionate doctors I ever met. But more importantly she is extremely skilled at what she does. I would never recommend a not good doctor. Trust me she is great! Also the staff and nurse are very helpful when I need questions answered I’m able to speak to dr derosa about valid concerns and or the nurse . The nurse is amazing very knowledgeable. She and dr deRosa communicate very well. It is all positive and professional as any surgeons office should be.

I needed to have my entire nose restructured. I was very apprehensive about going to a location that was not “in” one of the major Boston hospitals. In the end, after many consults elsewhere and recommendations from top Boston MD’s, I decided to move ahead w Dr. DeRosa and have her do the procedure in her Newbury Street surgical center. The procedure went perfectly, I felt so at ease and the results are just perfection. She is beyond talented. I feel so lucky to have been her patient. I go to her office now too for all my facials- the best!

I love this place. The nurses are fabulous-they are skilled and detail oriented. The receptionists are amazing! So incredibly smart and helpful. I’m writing an addendum to my first review because I am SO HAPPY! Over the course of the past 6 months I have seen both Julia and Nicole for almost monthly appointments for a variety of things (filler, Botox, and recently a Geneo facial). Both women are incredibly knowledgeable, skilled and have brought me results that are above and beyond my expectations. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. After searching for three months and seeing numerous other surgeons (including the last plastic surgeon who did my second rhinoplasty revision), I was convinced no one would take on my case and listen to my story the way I needed it to be heard, let alone agree for me to become their patient. I felt totally disheartened and lost! In comes the DeRosa Canter as my last and only hope. From the outset, Colleen (the admin) and Meg (who handles patient coordination) were incredibly friendly and welcoming on my first visit. Colleen in particular has been FANTASTIC about fielding multiple calls and questions from me before and post-op (thank you so much Colleen!). And what can I say about Dr. DeRosa - she is a DREAM. She is bubbly, attentive, smart, and such an incredible listener. She let me spend a half hour explaining my previous procedures, where I was unhappy with them, and how I wanted to move forward reconstructing my nose after my son had broken it during playtime over the summer. She MORE than met my expectations. She understood that this procedure was more than just fixing a broken nose, but giving to me the nose I had always wanted as a teenager, and I'm nearing 40 today. She showed me pictures of potential outcomes, and I was thrilled! I booked surgery that same day. The day of surgery I met Dr. DeRosa's husband, who also happens to be her anesthesiologist! He has a lovely calming presence that is especially essential right before surgery. It was a special twist to know that the practice was in essence “family run.” Post-op, the NP Nicole took off my cast and showed me my results, and I was stunned! My nose was perfectly straight again, without divots from being broken, and on top of that, was much smaller and looked SO appropriate for my face. I was THRILLED. I opted to also do some post-op Botox with Nicole right on the spot, which I must say was an added plus - she is a great listener and a very skilled technician. Botox isn’t something to play with, and she did a fantastic job. (Thanks Nicole! I can’t wait to come back!) Overall, I just can’t thank all of the DeRosa team enough for giving me my life back (really and truly). I've waited so long to see the face I've had in my mind’s eye become reality, and this group of people achieved it for me. Where do I begin! I cannot say enough about the DeRosa Center! I was referred by a friend to discuss a mini face and neck lift. After my consult I knew immediately she was the one! She made me feel very comfortable and excited! So I booked it! My first procedure was amazing! Painless and quick healing. No visible scars at all! Her work is impeccable! Loved the results so much, I went back a few months later for a brow lift and blepharoplasty. I could not be happier with my results. Again no scarring at all! Eyelids are perfect! I went to see Dr Derosa at the end of August for a rhinoplasty consult. I’ve ALWAYS hated my nose (large hump, bulbous tip, asymmetrical line in my tip and overall my nose was crooked and veered towards the right side of my face). She was the 5th doctor I had a consult with. When I left her office, I knew she was going to be my surgeon. She has the ability to make you feel 100% comfortable and knew exactly what I was looking for. I had my surgery at the end of September - I’m one month out from my surgery and couldn’t be happier. Her husband is also the anesthesiologist and comes from Mass Eye & Ear to her office to do the anesthesia for her patients. Recovery was a breeze! I experienced little to no pain- honestly it was more uncomfortable than painful (like a bad head cold). I encouraged some friends and even coworkers to book a consult with her! If you’re looking to get a rhinoplasty, I would highly recommend meeting with Dr Derosa. I’ve included a picture of the photo she took during my consult, a picture right after my cast was removed, and a side profile picture from a couple weeks after surgery.
