Might be my favorite track in all my travels next to Saratoga. The grounds are clean and laid out well so going from the paddocks to the stands are easy. Betting windows and food stations were everywhere and the restrooms clean. The weeknd i went was a food truck festival Food truck festival and horse racing...what could be better? Add live music.....great band today along with amazing weather. Worth the trip.

They brought BYOB back but there are so many rules. They make it such a huge inconvenience to bring in a cooler you never want to do it again. They contain you to one side of the park without bathrooms and without adequate in person betting. Waited in line 20 minutes to place one bet. Couldnt use the bathroom without leaving my cooler behind. Make you walk an extra mile to get in through a designated entrance. Such a horrible experience. Just take away BYOB again if this is how you are going to do it.

Place i great, we really enjoyed the truck fest. So much food to choose from. The race track was another thing. It was so exciting to be outside and placing bets and watching the races. There are mang areas to sit so if u choose to be away from people you can simply sit far away. There are many booths to place your bets. There is a big screen in the middle of the track incase you have trouble seeing the race. There are plenty of bathrooms and atm machines. The public parking is a bit far but the good thing is , there are a lot of spaces to park at as long as you dont mind the long walk.the staff are kind. Everything is well organized. So its was pleasent as soon as we entered the area. We had a great time here. although we didnt win anything it was a blast and a wonderful experience. I cant wait to come back and hopefully win something next time.

horse races, with a shine of past glory, lots of locals and happy gamblers hoping that their horse is going to make it. decor from the past but it is a fun horse race moment with real humans doing the betting. little more sunshine inside would be making it a much better experience worth while playing dress up. updated 4 years later: bedding was fun, drinks were delicious, sun shining made it more fun hanging out and having a good time.

Easy spot to get to. Free parking, and lots of it. Picnic area rentals are a great way to get a group together and have a fun day. No pets allowed. Coolers with beer are ok.

Racetrack near the NJ shore. Fun to watch the horses and jockeys walk between the paddock and the track. Two large connected buildings, Grandstand and Clubhouse, with multiple floors. Can take a while to learn where everything is. Beautiful grounds. Feels uniquely NJ to me.

Great day today. The Beer and BBQ festival was nice. Low crowds, which is perfect for a weekend day. There was plenty of space to walk around, eat, bet, and drink.

I really enjoyed Monmouth Park today. The horse racing was pretty good. I also enjoyed the Winner's Circle concession stand.

A little crowded on father's day. Betting windows moved very slowly. Parking is free and admission is $6/person. Always fun to be at the track. General admission facilities are pretty decent and they have additional tiers as well.

Monmouth Race Track!! What a great fun filled day. It was beautifull outside. Sadly yesterday, Sunday was the last day for quite a few months Ill be looking forward for when they re-open. 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎

Sports Book is awesome I had a giant everything pretzel the staff is soo friendly.

My first experience this weekend. There were food trucks which were busy. The parking, although we had to park in lane 78 wasn’t that bad. I think the building could use an update but was a great experience. I will go back for sure.

bring food and sitting on the benches or in the picnic area is actually really nice and a good time but Some of the restaurants are painfully slow. Actually missed two races waiting for food. Bathrooms are kind of gross. It wasn't that crowded and It looked like they were cleaned last week. Also the male bathroom really need the dividers.

Wanted to be at a race track for an enjoyable afternoon & found the perfect place. Easy to drive & free parking for general admission. Along the left side of the grandstands is a large picnic area where I saw about 40 families enjoying the day at tables with umbrellas for shade. There's plenty of room in the big grandstand area & dining in the clubhouse area. The afternoon crowd was mixed in a friendly atmosphere. I'll be back!

Absolutely LOVE Monmouth Park and watching the races! They have definitely stepped up their "food game" and the Food Truck Festivals are always a good time with delicious options. They have tons of stuff for kids as well. It's a great way to spend an afternoon!

Parking was a bit challenging. Get there thirty minutes early. Very nice venue. Friendly staff. Good music. Pleasant environment. We attended a concert that was free within the Blu Grotto on the grounds of the racetrack. Worth attending.

Great place to watch the races and have a nice day out with the family. They have a lot of fun events including wine and food truck festivities. There's a nice play area for kids and plenty of areas for groups to gather for work events as well as fundraising events.

Good time betting on the horses. Got a beer and some hotdogs but nothing crazy. Inside very hot but a good time to do something different.

ive been here a million times and seen some amazing horses including get smarty , big brown and war emblem. Great atmosphere my father used to race horses back in the 80's and 90's here

It was a great Labor day, enjoyed the festival and betting. The only down side was all the lantern flies everywhere. As soon as you walked outside they were all over and landing on you. That part was not fun so we stayed inside most of the time. Hopefully they will be gone soon. Other than that, a great day.

Fantastic day at the races. Beautiful horses and great excitement plus good food/drink. It does not get better than this!

Great seating and views visible from the grandstands. Well kept grounds and seating areas. The food selection is pretty good as well as the craft local beers. Great for all ages. There is some that will cater to everyone's enjoyment. Great historical construction.

94 degrees (real feel 106) is not enough to cancel the races? Everyone is advised to not keep their dog outside for longer than 5-10 mins for quick bathroom breaks, but you justify forcing large animals to engage in strenuous activity, simply for profit? Do you guys not make enough money? This is sick.

Racing on Friday starts at 2pm. Not many concession stands open. Had a hot dog and beer for $8, not bad.

It's a beautiful racetrack and very clean. Very family friendly with plenty of room and food options. You're also able to view the horses up close.

Horrible experience on Mother's Day. Place was packed and no one working there had any idea what to do, how to perform their jobs, etc. 1:30 pm brunch reservation. One server working about 50 tables and it was over 20 minutes to return with drinks. Server said it was his first day - which is fine, but he obviously had no training. Food on another level and no clean plates. Food was not edible and glad we walked away from our table. Oh - and a fire alarm went off while we were in line to get in. Monmouth Park was not prepared to handle the crowd and people were steeaming out early. Epic management fail.

This was a very fun experience! Great races, food, and service were great. Will definitely do it again.
