Weirdest
cafe
We've
ever
had
the
misfortune
to
visit.
Upon
entering
the
premises,
we
were
faced
with
the
service
counter,
so
we
proceeded
to
order
two
coffees
from
the
serving
staff
member.
A
different
staff
member
came
up
to
us
and
whispered
something
which
we
didn't
catch,
so
she
whispered
again,
my
partner
replied
that
she
could
not
hear
what
she
said,
so
she
whispered
again,
not
heard
or
understood
a
third
time,
so,
with
an
exasperated
look
on
her
face,
she
whispered
something
to
the
girl
behind
the
counter
who
told
us
we
would
be
taken
to
a
table
in
the
next
room,
and
once
seated
we
could
place
our
order.
So
the
whispering
waitress
took
us
to
a
table
and
asked
us
to
be
seated.
My
partner
then
asked
if
we
could
order
now,
she
replied
no,
you
have
to
go
up
to
the
counter
and
place
our
order.
We
were
there
to
begin
with,
why
couldn't
they
take
our
order
just
then
and
avoid
all
this
business
of
being
seated
first,
but
then
get
up
to
place
our
order.
Why
couldn't
the
waitress
just
take
our
order
at
the
table
as
in
most
cafes?
So
we
walked
up
to
the
counter,
but
noticed
that
the
exit
door
was
more
tempting.
Judging
by
other
reviews,
Gallo
is
supposed
to
be
a
very
good
cafe.
Unfortunately
this
was
not
our
experience.
We
did
not
get
to
try
their
coffee
or
anything
else,
so
this
is
just
a
review
about
the
weirdest
service
we
have
ever
encountered,
and
we
frequent
a
lot
of
cafes
in
our
travels.
Perhaps
management
could
educate
their
waiting
staff
in
customer
etiquette.
