Surprisingly good coffee shop! Just randomly chose this in Google Maps for a quick lunch and cuppa and we enjoyed the toasties and coffee.

The café is my go-to place for fast service and balanced flavoured coffee. Plenty of parking area at the rear of the café. The venue is lovely and the service is top-notch; the staff are excellent, friendly and very accommodating. I usually order a white coffee and the temperature is always spot on. That's why I always look forward to having my next coffee there.

Had the egg and bacon and the turkey cranberry for lunch, both were quite nice but felt like the bacon burger was a tad small to what I had in mind but was still tasty, will try something else on their menu next time.

A great little cafe Excellent coffee - I had a double espresso (doppio) and it was perfect. The barista told me it was a 32 second extraction. Food - those with me had hotcakes which were beautifully presented stacks of three hotcakes with toppings. Others around us had the big breakfast which I would recommend to those with a big appetite Cutlery - the teaspoons are from a tourism teaspoon collection :)

The pancakes and bacon are not a combination I would normally do but they were so delicious I'm sold Also love the fact that you have disabled parking out the back Very clever 😊😊

What a hidden gem this place is! Dropped in for coffee and cake, ended up having toasties instead. (A little disappointed that there were no scones on the menu). Looks like a plain brick fronted building on the outside, but many rooms and a fake fireplace that did the trick! Cheerful service, highly recommend.

Weirdest cafe We've ever had the misfortune to visit. Upon entering the premises, we were faced with the service counter, so we proceeded to order two coffees from the serving staff member. A different staff member came up to us and whispered something which we didn't catch, so she whispered again, my partner replied that she could not hear what she said, so she whispered again, not heard or understood a third time, so, with an exasperated look on her face, she whispered something to the girl behind the counter who told us we would be taken to a table in the next room, and once seated we could place our order. So the whispering waitress took us to a table and asked us to be seated. My partner then asked if we could order now, she replied no, you have to go up to the counter and place our order. We were there to begin with, why couldn't they take our order just then and avoid all this business of being seated first, but then get up to place our order. Why couldn't the waitress just take our order at the table as in most cafes? So we walked up to the counter, but noticed that the exit door was more tempting. Judging by other reviews, Gallo is supposed to be a very good cafe. Unfortunately this was not our experience. We did not get to try their coffee or anything else, so this is just a review about the weirdest service we have ever encountered, and we frequent a lot of cafes in our travels. Perhaps management could educate their waiting staff in customer etiquette.

The customer service here is outstanding! You are immediately greeted even if they are busy and told they will be with you shortly! 10 stars girls! So many other cafes lack this attitude! Love the food and coffee, you won’t be disappointed by gallo cafe

Loved the beef and relish gourmet toastie! My mug of hot chocolate went down very well. A good place to stop and enjoy a break. It was a Saturday and we needed to order our food by 12:30pm. We ordered with 5 minutes to spare. The service was excellent and our meals were delivered in a timely manner. Well recommended!

Walked in and was instantly greeted by friendly staff. We ate in for breakfast, ordered at the counter and food came out very promptly. Serving sizes were large, beautifully presented and tasted amazing.

Coming in from Melbourne for an overnight stay, coffee is a ritual for me each morning. Researched for highly rated places for coffee and found Gallo Coffee Co. to kick start our day. Went with a friend and we were greeted by the "lovely" family that owes and runs the establishment 😊. They were all very welcoming albeit a quick stop but their coffee and hot chocolate were on the money. The coffee was on point. Good blend, nice and strong texture, great balance. I'll definitely be back for food, more coffee and the awesome banter this this family owned business! Highly recommended.

Super friendly customer service, food looks and tastes beautiful. Chai lattes are great. Also a lot of options for vegetarians. My new favourite brekky place!
