Always love this part of the park. Kids love the play ground and all the different walking paths. We start all of our Cub Scout hikes at this point.

Nice little lake in Canton. It has a marina for kayaks and canoes, a dock for fishing, a walking trails all over the place, a Stark County library and a conservation center. Great place to just go for a walk or to spend an entire day!

We held our wedding and reception here on August 5th. Bonnie is wonderful and made sure all our needs were meet. We had the choice of having the wedding inside or outside, thankfully the weather cooperated and we were able to have the beautiful outdoor wedding we had dreamed of. We booked both rooms for the reception, had the buffet in one and the reception in the other, whiched worked wonderfully. The price was exceptional, especially with some of the quotes I received from other local venues. Thank you again. Lara and Ron Huguenot

I found this lake and trails by chance, and my dog, Loki, and I have been visiting it every week since. The trails range from packed gravel to grass and dirt, but any route you take is scenic and quiet. On a weekend there may be more activity. For example, last Sunday, Loki and I walked by a wedding overlooking the lake. With a gazebo, Pavillion, and the Exploration Gateway nearby, I can imagine it was very convenient. The lake is always beautiful, and the trails range from easy to more difficult. Loki seems to prefer the difficult ones, to my dismay. Bring your bug spray in the summer. The mosquitoes aren't horrible, but one or two is enough to annoy me. :)

We held my grandaughter's grad party in the outdoor pavilion . You must reserve the pavilion first for your event, they will post a notice on the column for your party. It was by the swings and slide for the little one's to occupy them, so everyone enjoyed themselves. Cleanup is a must afterwards, there is plenty of trash cans available. If outdoors is not what you want, you can ask for the in door hall too. It's a little more expensive. Very nice place for any occasion.

Great place to get out doors. Many paths to walk, fishing, biking, library, playground and the wildlife center. Most of the trails are talking care of for group walking or biking. Bathrooms are clean and they have rental spaces for many occasions.

👍👍 Site M22 is at the end of the row and provides an incredible view of the lake. Tight parking for big rigs, though I was able to wiggle in our 35 fifth wheel w/o tearing up too much grass. Note that there are train tracks very near, if you are averse. A few trains per day, haven't heard any late at n...
