We had a wonderful experience at the Lorain Harbor Lighthouse! There's a short boat ride out to the lighthouse that was fun, (the water was a bit choppy), but the view was magnificent! The lighthouse tour was very informative and the staff was amazing! We had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!!!

Went for the Fourth of July picnic and fireworks. Had a great time. Food was excellent as well as the hospitality of the all volunteer staff. The view of the fireworks was unobstructed and awesome. Would definitely attend this event again. Tickets are limited so buy them as soon as they’re available. One tip, take bug repellent.

Great views. The people who run the tours are VERY nice as well as knowledgeable. I just moved to the area and the tour told me ALOT about the area. If you are even slightly interested in history, I would recommend a visit here. Not only are the guides knowledgeable about the lighthouse itself, but they are about the area of Lorain as well. Thoroughly enjoyed myself amd so did my family.

Beautifully restored lighthouse. My wife and I did the sunset dinner cruise and it was awesome. Tour and history were great and the meal was delicious. Sunset made the night. It's a little expensive, but we thought it was well worth it. Highly recommend.

I just wanted to thank the volunteers that arrived earlier than originally scheduled for our private tour. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and excited to talk about the history and future of the lighthouse. Our group had a great time and would highly recommend this tour to others.

We did the sunset dinner tour and really enjoy it. The lighthouse foundation has done a phenomenal job of restoring and preserving. A great experience and you feel like the money you're spending is going to saving a piece of history

A great place to visit just off the Black River entrance. This light house is really magnificent to see in person. I highly recommend it to all who are interested.

The best way to see the Fourth of July fireworks in Lorain is at the lighthouse! The volunteer staff here was amazing! From showing us around the property to the gentleman serving the food was first class. We plan on doing this again.

I wasn’t able to get to the lighthouse ,since the lake was frozen, but the photos are still nice. It’s best to visit in the spring.

I scheduled two tours of the lighthouse for groups through my organization. Scheduling a large group was easy and Ron was accommodating with the available times. The tours went off without a hitch! The captains were great and loading/unloading was effortless. The volunteers/leaders on the lighthouse were very knowledgable and shared a plethora of interesting facts/stories from the past. I highly recommend taking the tour if you haven’t been. It also received great reviews from the 35 people that I scheduled to go out there!
