Smuggler's Run Wyandotte

Restaurant Bar Catering service Live music venue Catering food and drink supplies

😠 Was overall pretty bad experience at a steep price. Had to pay 10 bucks to park and another 5 dollar surcharge before stepping into the place. The bartender outside was rude and pretty much demanded a tip before I even got my drink. Also didn't feel very inviting with the level of security they had.... People often mention good, great, venue, pretty, drink, water, atmosphere, music, seating, party,

Was overall pretty bad experience at a steep price. Had to pay 10 bucks to park and another 5 dollar surcharge before stepping into the place. The bartender outside was rude and pretty much demanded a tip before I even got my drink. Also didn't feel very inviting with the level of security they had. Definitely not going back. Edit: the 10 dollars to park was because they ran outta space in there own lot so they had to rent their neighbors lots

Great spot! Wonderful atmosphere, great live music by, #sweetsoulband . My food choice wasn't the greatest (chicken and fish, two different entrees both fried to hard and dry), nor was my drink, but everything else was nice. For the atmosphere, I will definitely return.

Was a good time, came here after celebrating my sisters birthday with the family at Vito’s. Was a nice place and pretty open with a decent sized dance floor as well as live entertainment. The band did a really good job and brought great energy. They also have plenty of seating both in and outside. Drinks were pretty good and they have top notch security! Actually know a few of the workers here but it was my first visit.

This was one of my favorite bars to go to downriver until yesterday. Owner is on a power trip. Wouldn’t let my buddy in because of a dress code when he was wearing jogger pants. Yet you walk in to see people wearing basketball shorts and sweat shorts. Doesn’t make any sense. Also questioned someone in our group for being too drunk because they were drinking a water bottle as they stood in line to get their ID checked.

Went here for a shower/bachelor party that was reserved. The host of the party was told no cover charge for anyone since the party was paid for already. I got there right at 6 about an hour after the party started and maybe there was a mistake but I was still forced to pay the cover even though I explained I was here for an event and it was paid for. The staff wouldn't bother to check. The area we had reserved was nice but that was about it. Would not come back based off this first experience.

Super cool place... They have changed the process here since we visited last year on the boat. Now, per the girl at the front door... there is no "waitstaff"... you order at the "order here" window and someone delivers your food to your table. The menu also lays out the instructions, too. Want a drink? Go to the bar (inside and outside bars), get your drink from the bartender. Seating? Plenty (and I mean plenty) of indoor and outdoor seating so sit anywhere you like. The concept is is there... the restaurant is SUPER cool.... why arent there 1,000 people inside here on any given day? Currently we are sitting outside watching the really high water on the river and enjoying a beautiful sunshiny day! My kids (12 & 7) love this place, too. The only thing we noticed that seems to be missing is a "Lead" person keeping things running timely... I only mention this because what my friends who own successful, repeat business restaurants have in common is this: They have a manager (usually themselves or partner) who greet guests as they come in and also, they politely direct/motivate activities of the staff to keep things moving along - because sometimes its needed. Overall, we enjoyed this visit and the place sits right on the water. It's a cool place to visit with friends, grab a bite to eat and enjoy a cocktail with a riverfront view. Customer service matched with quality food/drinks, paird with a venue that has a view.... and this place has the recipe for success! Also... try the buffalo chicken wrap! It was delicious! We will be back again... Cheers!

This is a really great venue. The sound system is tuned in perfectly. You don't have to wait in a huge line to get a drink. There is an outdoor space that looks really good. I will definitely be back for more shows.

Fantastic venue!! Probably the best in the Detroit area. Everyone was friendly. The stage and seating arrangements were exactly as described. The bouncers are simply the largest, most polite men I've ever seen. The sound mixing was stellar.

Prices for drinks were reasonable and they had a lot of good options! Love the view by the water. Music was a hit or miss.

Went here for a graduation party. The food was good. It's a great venue for a casual party, nice open air building with multiple bars and music right on the riverfront. They have plenty of seating outside and have lawn games to play (free). It is a very wheelchair accessible venue. One of the best we've seen in southeastern Michigan. Smooth transitions between inside and out, barrier free, seating and tables are of the outdoor lawn furniture type so no problem moving things around to accommodate a wheelchair. Bathroom entry is a little tight (no doors but turns for privacy) but not bad. Paddle lock on the accessible stall and plenty of room. Enough stalls no one unchallenged should need to use the accessible stall. Clean and tidy. Only improvement would be to add a couple of lower soap and towel dispensers, current ones are up too high if you can't leverage yourself up in your chair. I'll post some videos I took of the entry and transitions on the website since I can't seem to attach them here.

What a great summer place. Right on the water and "vacation" atmosphere. First time there and WILL be back.

No table service available you place your own order and they deliver food to your table! Had the fish meal with fresh and coleslaw it was basic bar food but it was hat and good and enough! $50 bucks for three meals pretty good! Waterfront views made it a place to come back to.

Went there to see Fleatwood Mac & Meet Loaf double bill concerts. Had a great time! I'm really looking forward to performing there with my Billy Joel and Bob Seger tributes Allentown & Lookin' Back ❤️ respectively. NOV 3, 2023 is the eve of Piano Man's 50th Anniversary of the records release.

Great Concert Venue. Waitress was very slow. We got up from the table we reserved, she had cleared all our full drinks away. Would not replace them. We were at table 15 for Quiet Riot

Went there for the first time last night. Door staff was very friendly, bands were decent, and Dj was good. Food was terrible. Online shows a much more extensive menu than what they have. We ordered burgers which were cold, dried out, and the bottom of the bun was like a hockey puck. Also ordered nachos which were also cold and old chips. Food is over priced for what you receive. Drinks were good with bar prices. If we return definitely will be eating before hand.

Like the atmosphere. Decent bands. Food is ok. You order from a window and they bring food to your table. Have to go to bar to get drinks. Nice view of water and lots of space. We were there during the week so not super busy. Lots of security and gets busy on the weekends. Have to pay a cover charge. 21 and over. Ladies free of cover charge on Thurs

Got there early as we live down the street and just wanted a drink and to sit down by the water. $5 a piece to get in (the cover should start after 8PM) and tap beers were $8 / $9 a pop. Very expensive couple of beers after tip. I like that they have old band that were popular years ago. I can't see paying $45 to see Quiet Riot or Puddle of Mudd at this venue. To each their own. The place started to get busy as we were leaving so the crowd that does go seems to love it. Just not our thing. I'd like it if it were no cover and open at 3PM.

This is a really cool venue for live music. The food is reminiscent of what is available at any concert venue (fast and easy), but that said, was fine. The drink service at the bar was quick and the prices were reasonable.

Chill crowd. Outdoor bar, indoor bar, Tiki boat.... so many options. Love music isn't always my favorite style of music, but still good. Every DJ I've seen so far has been great. Traditional bar food is pretty good.

Definitely one of my favorite places to go Downriver during the summer. Especially if you have a large group! Food prices are a bit high but the atmosphere is pretty great. You just have to decide what is more important to you. My only complaint is that I wish they would bring back the jalapeno poppers. Those were my favorite and I miss them!

Super great atmosphere! Food is really good also! A little pricey but it's good food so it's worth it if you're looking for a night out. Great live music (Phoenix theory was playing the night I was there and theyre great! ) and awesome view with outdoor seating! Seemed like a really great crowd of people, at least when I've been there!
