the hotel is really clean. Much cleaner then what I ever seen in Ecuador. The lunch was excellent. The shower was hot. the staff is very nice and welcoming. They helped us a lot! also, Freddy and his wife, the owner of the hotel live next door and ensures that his guests are well treated. he also recommended several must-see places to visit in the area. I recommend this place to everyone.

This little gem was what I was looking for clean, comfortable, staff was amazing Freddy the tour guide superb Helena front desk so sweet and friendly. When in Baños this is the place to stay away from the noise. I can't to go back and stay there again. Excellent 👍 decor of the hotel.

Very polite personal. Very knowledgeable of the area. Very comfortable. Fresh breakfast was really good. Easy check in and check out. This Hotel is only like 8 minutes away from the town center. Very peaceful place away from the traffic and noisy crowd. I left my wallet in my room and the personal were very helpful to retrieve it. They sent it to the place I was staying next almost two hours away. Nothing was missing. I am definitely staying here again on my next visit to Baños.

I had a wonderful stay in the Hostal Casa Santa Lucía in Baños with my mother and her friend. It is well located with great views on the volcan, and the room was comfortable and spacious. I really appreciated the kindness of the team, as well as their advice and support for all our questions and desires. We also booked a one day tour with Fredy, to Laguna de Quilotoa, which will be among my most magical memories of Ecuador. Fredy is very knowledgeable about his country, and he knows the best places to stop on the way, either for coffee, snacks or the best pictures. He is also an excellent photographer and a great driver. I highly recommend his tour services across the country and a stay at the Casa Santa Lucía while in Baños. Muchísimas gracias!

We really loved our stay at the Santa Lucia hotel. Freddy and Elena went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfasts were wonderful, the bed super comfy, hot showers, the room had a view, was spacious and the location was perfect for us. It’s just a 10 min walk to be in the Centro area. The outdoor patio in the shade was a great area to hang out with other guests at the hotel. Freddy and Elena are super hosts and can offer many extra services if you need them. We almost felt like family after 4 nights! I would stay again for sure. It’s quiet, very clean and comfortable with security too. Thanks Elena and Freddy!

We are so happy to have stayed in this hotel. The staff is superb, service great, rooms clean, breakfast really really nice. They helped me arrange a doctor's appointment with transport and everything. And everyday we could depend on them to help us with tours or how to spend our day. I would recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone. It was great!!

We stayed 3 nights in Hotel Casa Santa Lucía which is a very new hotel just outside noisy city center of Banos, it is in a very quiet neighborhood and within about than 10 minutes safe walking distance to the city center, you can walk 1-2 minutes to some nearby nice restaurants for late dinner if you arrive late, or you can ride 2-3 minutes taxi to the city center. The hotel and guest room are exceptionally clean, comfortable and well equipped with very reasonable price, 24 hours hot water, WiFi signals are strong that I can even connect to my base in USA to do complicated computer work. The hotel serves delicious and plenty breakfast, bread, egg, fresh fruit and juice are just so tasty that they are from nature with original flavor. The host Fredy's family is an excellent owner, they and their staff are all very honest, kind, friendly, helpful and accommodating, they do whatever they can do to help us. Mr. Fredy who speaks excellent English knows everything and everywhere around Banos (and also other places like Quito, Cotopaxi, Quilotoa Lake, Chimborazo, Puyo, Tena, Amazon jungles, and entire Ecuador), Fredy and his family members took us from/to Quito to all these amazing spectacular and amazing beautiful places during our 5 full days trip. We visited so many places and enjoyed local food with Fredy that regular tours would not be able to reach. With Fredy and his staff, we climbed Cotopaxi and Chimborazo and reached highest possible spots for regular hikers, over 5100 meters ! Fredy even helped us in arrangements in Galapagos. We feel our trip with Fredy's far exceeded our expectation. We truly felt like we were part of the Fredy's family! I would highly recommend Hotel Casa Santa Lucía, this is the place for your stay in Banos, and I am sure I will be with Mr. Fredy again to travel in our next trip to beautiful Ecuador !

We reached out to Fredy, the owner of the hotel, for transportation services and he let us know about his hotel for our stay in Banos. It looked far nicer and better value than the place we had originally found, so we booked in. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed in Room 8 on the top floor which was very spacious and had great views from the windows. The hotel is in a slightly quieter area of the town, with a 10 / 15 minute walk to the main restaurants and square. The staff are all very helpful and even though we can't speak much Spanish, we were able to communicate using translate apps! There was a tasty, freshly prepared breakfast every morning which was a great start to the day. Fredy also arranged tours and rafting for us during our stay and they sorted laundry for us as well. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great welcome to Banos.

We stayed at Freddy’s Casa Santa Lucia for a full week while we were in Baños, and it was a wonderful experience! Our room and the hotel were incredibly clean, the bed was very very comfortable, and the hot shower was a welcome respite after our many adventure days. Freddy was super helpful in helping us plan our days as soon as we got there, and had great suggestions and connections to get us on an Amazon tour, a white water rafting tour, as well as a canyoning tour! It made our time in banos that much more enjoyable and exciting. The hotel practiced excellent Covid precautions - better than some hotels in the states, and we had a great breakfast downstairs in the hotel before one of our earlier tours. Overall, would 100% stay at Freddy’s again, and highly recommend it!

I wish there was a 6 star rating. This place was above and beyond amazing! Freddy and staff were so accommodating and kind. They went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. It was so clean.. very safe. The abundant Breakfast was amazing. For $4 a person. They helped us with laundry. We wanted to play cards with a group of 8 and they were happy to let us use their breakfast area. I can’t say enough good about our stay with Freddy.

Freddie (sp?) and his staff were the best. They were the most accommodating , helpful and friendly. The rooms were safe and secure and very clean and had very comfortable beds and nice windows to open for a breeze. The breakfast was also great. It was all a good value. I will definitely call Freddie hen I come back again.

Pretty far out of town. Breakfast was not worth the money. Barking dogs all night long. The front door is a pain to get in at night. Both other places we stayed in Baños were better and cheaper.

Wonderful staff, and beautiful very clean and comfortable accomodation. Before taking our rooms we went to see 6 other hotels just to see what they were like. Santa Lucia was by far the best in Baños in my opinion. Thank you for everything 🙏

This is a terrific place to stay while in Banos. Quiet and clean, close to one of the thermal baths and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Very welcoming staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, and great recomendations of where to go and what to do in baños. And we were able to leave our bags there after we checked out. We felt very welcome, and taken care of. Thank you for everything!

My daughter has been living in Ecuador for a couple years, and she took me on a short, mid-week trip to Baños. She reserved a stay for us for two nights at the Hostal Casa Santa Lucia while there. The hotel was very nice and extremely clean, and the price was also very reasonable. The best part, though, were the owners who treated us like friends immediately and welcomed us warmly. The room itself was exactly what we needed with plenty of space for our clothes and a locked drawer for our valuable items and a big plus was plenty of hot water in the shower! Another outstanding part were the breakfasts. One of the owners, Fredy, treated us to delicious fruit and local juices along with fresh bread, great coffee, and eggs. The location is slightly outside of the central area of Baños, but we liked that for the privacy and away from a lot of tourists. Overall, this is an excellent choice for a stay in Baños, and I highly recommend it to travelers from either Ecuador or those from outside the country.
