The island is beautiful and the water is incredible. The residents drive too fast and kill a lot of birds. There are so many unneutred stray dogs and cats which are known to kill many endangered species yet nobody does anything about it. Along with that there is a real problem with litter and keeping up the town. The other islands are better organized, cleaner with fewer stray dogs and cats, so it can be done. The expectation is that these islands are kept clean and the endangered species are kept safe.

One of my favorite places in the world

This island is great ! I would recommend to visit it and do the tour to los tunnels. On the island you will find iguana everywhere, wild giant turtle, flamingo, seal (we spotted a 1week old seal next to the wharf). The airport is going to be extended to receive direct plane and a lot of new hostel are on construction which will help the island economy. 10$ entrance fee
