Really special place worth visiting if you are in Ecuador. Beautiful hiking routes available and Anthony is an amazing host. Takes you around and cooks wonderfull meals for you. Go here if you are looking for an authentic experience. I came back to do an acclimatization program before climbing Cotopaxi. We spend two nights at 4500 meter and hiked around the area. It really helped because climbing Cotopaxi was very well do-able and I had no problems whatsoever with high-altitude sickness.

I had the most magical time here with my wife. We came to Ecuador to celebrate our Union and was recommended to stay here by a local guide and yoga teacher in Quito. There are so many activities like hiking, horseback riding, hot springs, trekking, rock climbing. You could also just spend your time relaxing and taking it all in as it is such a beautiful area. The views are memorizing especially those of Cayambe. The food is probably one of my favorite things because it is all farm to table and made by the best in house Chefs including the owner. I’m sad as I write this because we just left and I already want to go back!

A great experience at Antoine's homey lodge. View is amazing, dorm & bathroom are clean, bed comfy and food tasty. The hikes around are beautiful and worthwhile. Relaxing at night, reading in front of the fireplace, doing yoga on the mezzanine or playing with the dogs makes the whole mountain experience even better. I'd definitely come back :)

This cozy cabaña was our lovely home for one week. With the nicest stuff and people around us, we felt like part of a small family. The view is truly gorgeous, and hiking a few mountains just feels too inviting when they are right in front of your nose. Definitely make this part of your trip when you wish to explore the andes.

There is really nothing bad one could say about this magnificent place. We stayed at one of the cabañas, overlooking the volcano, enjoying the view while sitting by the fire. The food that is included in the price is great, especially dinner. The atmosphere in the hostel is relaxed and there are three cute dogs to keep you company. And sometimes two llamas too :) The nature is simply stunning. We didn't do any hard hikes as we travel with small kid but people who did them loved them. The only thing I would add (note to Antoine :) is possibility to prepare coffee and tea in the cabaña. And maybe wifi signal to be able to work from the cabaña. There is wifi in the main building though so you are not cut off from the world.

Truly an incredible experience and a magical place. Antoine, the founder, is an exceptional host, chef, outdoorsman, and human being. Not only does he provide each guest with an individualized experience, he does so conscientiously and sustainably, with the local community in mind. You can enjoy the breathtaking nature, local food prepared with lots of love, hiking, hot springs, and horseback riding. For those seeking a thrill there are mountains for hiking and climbing all around, suitable for all levels of expertise. Antoine is extremely attentive and knowledgeable and takes the time to ensure that his guests choose the most suitable, fun, and safe activities for them. There are adorable dogs & llamas who roam the grassy property. The houses are heated with wood-burning stoves and the beds are super comfy & made with fresh cotton sheets. There are many inviting nooks for lounging, reading, writing, painting, and meditating. I cannot wait to return to Punanti SOON!

Wonderful place to breath freedom and explore trails around Vulcano Cayambe. Nice thermals nearby and high rock formations to climb. The house is cozy and open with marvelous view. Plus, Antoine cooks tasty dinners and there are enough cute dogs to warm your heart. Highly recommend!

Amazing place in the mountains near Quito. Tony is a very good host, who knows the area very well and helps with everything. The hostel is beautiful and it feels like you are in another world far from the big crowds. Absolutely recommend!
