My husband and I went for our Honeymoon in January of 2018. Stayed for the 7 day package, and the room with a private pool. We had an awesome time. They hired a guide, Cornelia, pick us up right off the plane and took us straight to the hotel where we could relax for the evening. They have a number of guides that are hired by the hotel, we had another one through the second half of the trip that was amazing. The food was consistently great, Michelle the restaurant manager, always made sure we knew what we were getting as there were a mix of western meals and Ecuadorian cuisine. The room was very comfortable and stayed a nice temperature even without the AC. The pool was a bit cold but it's adjustable. Even though you can't drink the water, they always had some filtered available in the room. The trips were all amazing. We were able to see a lot. I'd recommend doing the 7 day as you get the most out of a long travel time (long layovers in Guayaquil from the USA). They always made sure we were safe and knew what was ahead. We lucked out and had an amazing set of guests with us as well (we also had guests over 60 who did just fine in our group). Highly recommend January for the number of guests and the temperature. Overall the hotel was better than expected for a luxury hotel - and it's even more amazing considering how hard it is to get products onto the islands. Great staff, great hotel 10/10.

No words can truly express the grandeur of this gem. The service was literally off the charts. The views were beyond breathtaking. And the food was world class. Pikaia will not disappoint!!

First, I will say I am a very critical person and wish Google reviews had a 4.6 ot 4.7 scale. This is by far the best property in the Galapagos, food is good, service is awesome. The hotel is out of the way, the pool suites are a waste of money as they are not heated. We forgot the charger for our camera and they found one for us. Beds are very comfortable, TV had 6 international channels, internet was not good, but enough for email.

No doubt the best place to stay in the Galapagos. Pool was very quiet, great view, and staff was very helpful with recommendations of things to do.

Did not stay here but we booked a spa and dinner to relax on our last night in Galapagos. Despite very cloudy/cold in October, spa was amazing and dinner/service was great. Highly recommend to stop by to check it out if and/or stay if can afford high rates.

There are not enough words to describe the absolute magic, mystique, and wonder of Pikaia Lodge. I have never stayed at a more wonderful property or experienced better care from hotel (or other) staff in my life. From the moment you arrive on Baltra Island, Pikaia Lodge is there to take care of you and ensure that your stay in the Galapagos is as fascinating, full of exploration, and care-free as possible. We stayed for five nights, but would have stayed longer if we could have. We already cannot wait to return. I must emphasize that every single employee at Pikaia Lodge operates with concern for their guests and a willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure a pleasant stay. There are too many individuals to name in one post, but I must say that there is an elevated standard at Pikaia that each member exceeds by leaps and bounds. We cannot thank Pikaia enough for an amazing adventure --- we wish to see you all again soon!

We did not stay at the hotel itself but we had an excellent lunch experience. The view is the most spectacular in the whole island!
