With an amazing infrastructure, plenty of trails and nice views from surroundings of Quito (including Cotopaxis) the park definitely worths a visit for those passing through Quito and who are interested in some outdoors activities. The place is incredibly well maintained and offers all you need for a great weekend day with your family, dog or by yourself enjoying nature right next door from the city center. There are several walking trails covering the park, which go through it’s great woods and artistic interventions, and also through the view points in the park, who is located in the limits of Quito plateau. There are also a lot of child friendly spaces, plenty of areas for barbecue and picnic and a very nice dog zone. Since my first visit to the place, I have fallen in love with it.
