This is a beach crowded with sea lions. After mid day, also with people. The water itself here isn’t very clear so I wouldn’t say it’s a good spot to swim with the sea lions but definitely a good place for interacting outside of the water. Don’t leave your things and towel unattended for too long as the sea lions like to lay on them and then become a bit territorial. We had to struggle a bit to get our things back :)

Perfect beach for snorkelers and sea lion spotting. Throughout the day, groups of sea lions are typically lazing about in the sun and play in the waters when it gets a bit hot for them. Some of the males can be intimidating yelling at you when you enter the water, but from my experience, just stand your ground and they'll leave you alone. It is funny to see other people back away and the sea lions chasing them; its a "see who's alpha" game they like to play. The area by the beach is a bit murky with the sand being kicked up but if you snorkel past the rocks to the white sand areas, you'll be able to see some fishes and rays. You can even have a sea lion play with you while in the water.

Nice beach in waking distance to the city. you'll share the beach with iguanas and seals. the police is strolling around, watching that you don't disturb the animals - SUPER! there are showers, toilets and you can buy drinks and food for a few dollars.

So I was on the island for about 10 days and went to this beach literally every day... such a beautiful little beach. Gets busy around 4 pm everyday just about. I love that there's a little bar/food bar right there as well. Being so close to the marine life was very fun and such a nice new experience. The sunset there is to die for.

One of the few beaches that have shaded areas. Lots of sea lions are swimming next to people. Nice place for snorkeling.

It became one of my favorite beaches. A really calming place to rest, read and even sleep for a bit. Sea lions everywhere. Also the only beach with restaurants and toilets. Ideal for watching the sunset.

Small but really nice beach. It draws a lot of people. Perfect place to just hang out at and read a book. The snorkeling was actually pretty good if you swim out from the more shallow parts. Saw sea turtles and a stingray

Superb beach with a nice view, and sea lions that come up to you. The sunset can be seen from here. There's also a restaurant that offer good food, and cheap almuerzos for $5 (soup + main course).

When the beach is not too crowded it is really beautiful. You have many sealions around and the babies are so cute to watch and listen to. There are some stores, toilets and freshwater showers. Please make sure not to get too close to the animals and always keep your 2 m distance. If you sit relaxed they maybe will come closer ok their own as you can see :)

Loved sharing the beach with the sea lions. They definitely ruled the roost, but we were able to enjoy the beach and the ocean and mostly stayed out of each other's space.

Lovely beach short walk from town. Water is very clear and the beach is clean. There are showers , changing rooms, bathrooms and a resto/bar. Sea lions everywhere.

I enjoyed this beach! Earlier today we saw a parrot fish! it is a great place to snorkel, but sometimes the water gets cloudy and you can swim with the sea lions and they’re so cute except they lie on your stuff and get territorial sometimes.
