I stumbled upon Coffee Factory with a friend yesterday and decided to try it out. The dark roast coffee was fantastic, and the chicken tamale was tasty - both recommended by Sebastian, who greeted us with positive energy. We had a great experience, and I look forward to coming back!

I talked with the owner quite a bit while I was there and was constantly impressed by his passion for providing a good experience for all his customers. Coffee Factory is the epitome of what makes local coffee shops so much better than any chain. 10/10 would recommend if you’re staying in the area and looking for a place to grab some good coffee, get some work done or meet up with a friend and have a bite to eat.

This coffee shop is definitely more on the high end; however, it lived up to its prices. The service is excellent; the owners are genuinely skilled and helpful in choosing the right beverage. They give you delicious chocolate as complementary food and refill your glass with fine sparkling water. I ordered a latte which was probably one of the best lattes ever.

The people in this coffee shop knows how to properly brew their coffee. I had a great americano made of Pichincha variety, which acidicness was enhanced by good roasting and a nicely fine tunned coffee machine. They also accommodate to allergies and intolerances, one of the very few places in Quito that will be careful on this regard and offer alternatives to dairy, gluten and sugar.

Besides the quality coffee, incredibly clean space and amazing Tamal (better than any I've ever had... gods honest truth), Sebastian went out of his way to help me plan a trip to Galapagos including researching travel requirements and contacting people who could help me there!! Just can't say enough about this... I don't speak much Spanish and can't tell you how helpful he was. There are not to many places which take a vested interest in making sure your whole travel experience not only the moments in the business itself are incredible. Bravo.
