This coffee & chocolate shop has been a staple for my roommate and I since we have been in Ecuador. We went here almost everyday the past week. The service is excellent, the coffee is flavorful & rich, and the fruit tart is so so good. We both bought a bag of Velez coffee beans to take back to the US as gifts. Prices are affordable. They also have lunch options for about $4 including a coffee or tea of your choice. Yesterday’s option was caprese toast. It was flavorful and sufficient for the price. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re in La Floresta & craving coffee or a snack. Ahh I love this place so much!

Update: I tried again and was much much better. The coffee is really good. Tip: I think, the workers use sometimes cold milk. Please be sure to let then use hot milk for the cappuccino, otherwise they will serve again cold ones.
