Location is good. Clean and spacious room. Friendly host, introduced the places to visit and helped to get a taxi for me to catch the bus to Tulcan in the highway.

Great location close to everything including bus station. Clean room with plenty of hot water. But best part is the owners attention and helpfulness. They not only can provide transportation for you but will help with information regarding trips and areas of interest.

The best shower we’ve had in Ecuador, hot with amazing pressure. The price for a Thursday was $18.00 and for that we were very happy with the room. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet at night. The wifi was also great

Good hotel in otavalo. Located near many shops, restaurants, el mercado, and bus station 2 blocks away. Very large room. Very friendly hosts. Pillow was a bit flat and worn but used a blanket bought at market. Coffee shop across the street was amazing

Very noisy. Hot water is sporadic. Could use some help with repairs.

They have a guide that speaks English in the hotel. It is centrally located, only two blocks from the market and the breakfast was great.

Excellent value. Clean, light rooms, serviced every day. Plenty of hot water. Nice breakfast, very helpful staff. Laundry service. Good location for restaurants, markets and bus station.

Great value, included good breakfast. Clean room, Hot water, one bed rooms for 13-16$, terasse with picknick tables and excellent views. Best location - two blocks from bus terminal and from the Plaza de Ponchos. Receptionist spoke english too, very friendly and helpfull. Only thing is that rooms are facing the road, that gets some traffic, but that goes for all the center (plus here they provide earplugs!which I didnt need anyways)

Clean rooms, good location. Breakfast: scrambled eggs, cheese toast, jam, coffee or milk and juice. Friendly price...plus umbrellas are available for guests in the rainy days!

Best shower of Ecuador, heat and pressure! Diego the owner is an amazing guide! He made me practice Spanish for 2 hours during transport . Very safe with 24 hours front desk. Close to the market. They were not cheap on the toilet paper , changed towels . Sheets were nicer quality than many other budget hostal or small hotels.

A good value hostel/hotel in Otavalo. We had a spacious room, nice breakfast and a hot shower. If you want to visit the Otavalo marker this place is great because its 200m away from the market. Also great information about the nearby touristic attractions.

Very nice hotel, great people 👍 Liked it a lot, beds good too but everything is a little old. Not a problem to me though because so am I.

Basic clean hostel with breakfast included. Everything worked in the room and it was very affordable. There was really good service from the friendly staff and it was centrally located close to restaurants and transportation.

Good location and service. The rooms are basic, the bathroom could use some renovation but it's fine for the price listed.

Enjoyed this spot, very close to everything, and friendly staff. Was pleasantly surprised at the daily fresh towels as this is not typical of other stays for the price. Water is hot, room is adequate. Rooftop terrace is awesome!

This is one of best places i stayed. Hostel? Nooo this is like hotel you have private room for this price plus breakfast? I mean just look at the reviews. You dont see often this high rating by so many people. Diego and all staff are kind and gives you lots of information. For this price is it excellent place to stay and i will recommend it to everyone. Well done 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

This hostel deserves a long and detailed review on how wonderful it is. The location is awesome - 2 blocks from the Ponchos Plaza, a large supermarket, many breakfast and dinner options, the terminal of Otavalo. The room was large, it had enough hangers, shelves, a table and a chair. Hot water in the shower, comfortable bed, room cleaning and towel changing, soap and shampoo, strong Wi-Fi. My only problem with the room was the curtains. Yes the window was huge and it was lovely, but the curtains didn’t block the sunlight well enough so we woke up pretty early. Not a lot of noise from the 3rd floor though. The breakfast was nice, nothing too special. Laundry service and a pretty good one - cheap and they didn’t lose any items. I think the best part about this hostel though is the staff. Diego the owner is a super nice person, takes care of everything and makes sure you are welcome, and you are prepared for your next hike or your next stop in your trip. His employees are nice and attentive as well. We had the pleasure to be assisted by Wilson, a young and helpful gentleman with pretty good English. He went above and beyond to help us locate the bus to Banos, and made sure we are ok. The hostel offers taxi services to all the nearby day hikes, Lagunas and parks. They agreed to keep our backpacks when we went for lunch after checkout. I highly recommend this place for a few nights in Otavalo!

Located about 2 blocks from the Otavalo market close to many dining choices. Room was quite nice. Had a slight problem with the bed, staff immediately upgraded us. Very good overall experience.

The owner and his employees are so friendly, they go the extra mile to give you advise on where to go, what to avoid, when is the best hour to do your trips. The owner, Diego, used to be a tourist guide, so he gives you options, so you can make your best choices. The hotel is very clean, has great views, it is very close to everywhere, you can walk to downtown; the bus station is 4 blocks from it. The only thing, not necessarily bad, is that there is not a restaurant in the building, but it gives you with the vast possibilities of discovering different places to eat.

The hostel is centrally located three blocks from La Plaza de Los Ponchos and very close to a variety of store, restaurants and coffee shops. The reception is available 24 hours although the doors to the hotel close sometime during the night. The hostel offers hot showers, but I did not get any hot water from the shower head. I didn't receive a tv control either. Although not necessary, you do pay for that service. The hostel is located in a busy street and the windows are not sound proof, so you will be hearing all the traffic. However, the view is amazing. Either from the room or their famous terrace. The beds are soft, but the quality of the sheets are thin and probably cold if left the window opened. For the price during weekdays it's worth it, but for weekend rates there are better hotels with a much better service for the price.

Good hotel. Good price. Almost perfect apart from WiFi could be slightly better (but I'm being picky). Without a doubt, the BEST hot shower in South America. Better than my shower back home in Australia, unfortunately for me. Boo urns.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They spoke good English. Breakfast was delicious. Close proximity to restaurants and tours pick-up. Our room was very large Spacious room, comfortable bed, elegant surroundings, great restaurant

The hostal wasn't really good, I have problems with bathroom during my time there, but the restaurant was amazing. I highly recommend it as you can personalize your dish if you are vegetarian, vegan or celiac

Can't recommend but acceptable for backpackers. The have off street secure parking and a good location but the rooms are average. The restaurant next door gas a very good breakfast if you order it.

Very basic, no elevator but decent for the cheap price. Worst thing was I paid for breakfast to be included. No one explained that there we was a 3 dollar limit nor did they hotel notify the restaurant that I had prepaid so the lady at the restaurant had to call the hotel owner to confirm. The owner then had me pay the difference even though the policy was never made clear to me. An overall humiliating experience and complete lack of customer service and attention to detail.

👍 The food was limited and tourist oriented. Good for tourist that don’t want to explore Ecuadorian cuisine. However, the place was cute, the service was good, and their hot chocolate was amazing. We also had a bagel sandwich and a veggie sandwich which were okay.
